can you Outsource your illegals the processing well the United Kingdom is trying just that two years ago it tried once unsuccessfully but this time prime minister Rishi sonak thinks he has got it down right what is it all about well the United Kingdom is going to be deporting many of its illegals for processing and relocation to Rwanda and for this it's going to pay a lot of money but more than that they claim that in the long run United Kingdom stands to gain a lot of money maybe this is a to United Kingdom you know what happened in Italy right on one day the a small island of 5,000 people got overrun by people from the boats which was more than 5,000 and I think Italy said that okay I'm going to try and do something about it there was some firing and I think the boat traffic has now stopped so some people died when that firing happened this I think I told you when I had done the monologue at that point of time that this is what's going to happen this is how this is going to stop now UK is trying a slightly more roundabout method let's see how it succeeds but the plan itself is compelling I'm going to go through that thing and a small request to all of you to please like this video and watch it till the end because in one way or the other all countries around the world are going to try and implement this because every country is being run over by illegals here we go UK Rwanda Asylum law the British government's plans to deport Asylum Seekers to Rwanda have finally been approved by Parliament ending a months long deadlock between the lower and upper chambers over the legality of the policy PM Rashi sonak vowed to overcome further challenges and press ahead with deportation flights to Rwanda after parliament passed the migration legislation in a battle that exposed deep fers within the conserv party after two years of controversy the bill allowing Asylum Seekers to be sent to rawanda has been passed the rawanda Asylum plan officially the UK and rawanda migration and economic development partnership also known as the Randa Asylum scheme the rawanda plan and the rawanda deal is an immigration policy first proposed by the British government in April 2022 right almost two years ago whereby people whom the UK identified as illegal immigrants or Asylum Seekers would have been relocated to rawanda for processing Asylum and resettlement those who were successful in claiming Asylum would have remained in Rwanda and they would have not been permitted to return to the UK in return the UK is said to accept an unspecified number of the most vulnerable refugees currently residing in Randa so the processing has two outcomes one set will be repatriated back to UK because they'll say that these people are too vulnerable to be staying anywhere outside that they have to be repatriated back to the United Kingdom but the other set will be relocated within Rwanda that's what is the plan here was signed for a duration of five years by the then British Home Secretary prti Patel and raand foreign minister wincent biruta on April 13 2022 this new one was signed on April 22nd 2024 almost two years and 10 days later it stated aims were to decrease the number of Migrant Crossings in the English Channel stop human smuggling and boost Rance investment and development the then PM Boris Johnson said it would save countless lives and would break the business model of V people Smugglers I don't know why nobody wants to mention people like you know who I'm talking about NGS the UK would have paid Rwanda an economic transformation an integration fund amounting to10 million pounds and would have also funded each immigrant in an amount of between 20,000 to 30,000 for their relocation and temporary accommodation under the scheme any number in this is is in pounds the agreement with the raan government did not specify how many migrants would have been accepted under the scheme but it was subsequently reported that the initial maximum would have been 200 in comparison net migration to the UK Rose to a record high of around 54,000 in the year to June 2022 driven by an increase in the number of non-european Union Nationals the government registered 45,7 55 people arriving by small boats in 2022 60% higher than in 2021 according to the home office this this has led to a record backlog of 161,000 Asylum cases upon their arrival in Randa migrants would have been temporarily accommodated in the capital Kigali while their claims for Asylum were processed if successful migrants would have been then given permanent residency in the country that is rawanda and offered permanent accommodation it was expected that all claims would at most have taken 3 months to be process after the UK Supreme Court ruled that the scheme was unlawful the government introduced a bill to make it clear in UK law that rawanda is a safe country the legislation orders the courts to ignore key sections of the human rights act it also compels the courts to disregard other British laws or International rules such as the international Refugee convention which would block deportations to Rwanda the UK government also signed a new migration treaty with Randa which Home Secretary James cleverly said guarantees that anyone sent there would not risk being returned to their home country the bill was fiercely criticized by opposition parties and by many Charities representing Asylum Seekers after the bill was passed the illegal migration Minister Michael Tomlinson said a whole range of legal challenges is now expected these are likely to come from both both individual Asylum Seekers appealing against their own deportation and from specialist expert Refugee organizations despite parliament's approval of the legislation further Court challenges may still delay the deportation flights in November 2023 the UK Supreme Court ruled unanimously that the rawanda scheme was unlawful it said genuine refugees would be at risk of being returned to their home countries where they could face harm this breaches the European convention on human rights ECR which prohibits torture and inhuman treatment the UK is a signatory to the echr the ruling also cited concerns about randa's poor human rights record and its past treatment of refugees now the thing is this is the kicker the judges said that in 2021 the UK government had itself criticized Rwanda over extrajudicial killings deaths in custody enforced disappearance es and torture someone had a shikar there they also highlighted a 2018 incident when raand police opened fire on protesting refugees killing at least 11 it also noted randa's existing track record of not honoring non refoulement principles in a previous deal with Israel the East African country deported thousands of refugees under Israel's voluntary departure program between 2013 and 2018 the UK government had paid 240 million pounds to Rwanda by the end of 2023 however the total payment will be at least 370 million over five years according to the National Audit office if more than 300 people are sent to rawanda the UK will pay a one off sum of10 million pounds to help boost the country's economy with further pay ments of 20,000 per individual relocated on top of that up to 150,000 pounds will be paid for each person sent there the Nao report said these figures would not include the cost of payments to anyone who chooses to go to Rwanda voluntarily so there are two things here forcibly being sent and other being voluntarily being sent maybe the the partt will be sweetened on the voluntary returners previous previously released official figures suggested that removing each individual to a third country would cost 63,000 more than keeping them in the United Kingdom I knew this is going to come up at some point the PM previously claimed that the rawanda plan would literally save us billions in the long run but did not explain the figures the UK's Asylum systems cost nearly 4 billion pounds a year including about 8 million pounds a day on Hotel accommod a failure to process Asylum claims efficiently has led to unacceptable cost to the taxpayer a report by MP said in October 2023 now will this bill stay the course with the general election expected later this year sunak hopes the new law will bolster the flagging fortunes of his conservative party which promised a tougher approach to immigration after the UK left the European Union critics say the bill is a slipp slow setting a precedent for Parliament to legislate on issues already deemed illegal by the courts a trend that could ultimately damage the UK's International standing the conservative party is currently trailing the opposition labor party in opinion polls labor has promised to scrap the ra scheme if it comes to power now let's take a deeper look at the numbers there's no limit on the number of asylums Seekers who could be sent to Rwanda there are current 52,000 people who could be considered the first flight to rawanda was scheduled for June 2022 but was cancelled after legal challenges on 22nd April PM sonak said that the first flight would now leave in 10 to 12 weeks this is later than the government's previous goal of sending people in Spring sunak did not confirm how many people would be on board but said there would be multiple flights a month through the summer and Beyond what is the maximum number of Asylum Seekers that can be sent to Rwanda the PM also said that the government had put an airfield on standby and had booked commercial Charter planes he said the number of detention spaces for people the government Was preparing to remove had been increased to 2,200 and that 200 trained dedicated case workers were available to process cases quickly Mr sunak said that 25 courtrooms and 150 judges were available to deal with any any legal cases and there were 500 highly trained individuals ready to escort illegal migrants all the way back to Randa with a further 300 to be trained what does all this tell us well this is a new experiment that the United Kingdom is trying and if they succeed I can see a similar formula or a similar approach being taken by other countries why are they trying to do this because people who are daring to cross Seas uh Dangerously uh using ra boats and things like that they have to be deterred there has to be an orderly in and out between countries because borders still exist you still have all the regulations that used to be in place for the last 100 years so where is all this going to end who knows but one thing is for sure this Refugee Outsourcing is now another uh industry that is being outsourced because I think the United Kingdom over the long run thinks it can save a lot more money I think also there's a message here that people who are wanting to illegally somehow go to UK are not welcome and that you may be ending up at rawanda maybe home is better than UK or rawanda thanks for watching please like
