okay well joining us today we have our football correspondent David onstein and also Arsenal writer who was also Old Trafford actually yesterday afternoon Jordan Campbell as well David let's start with you um I guess this is a good Resort for Arsenal really um not just because it's against Manchester United but but also I guess getting rid of the hex that is Old Trafford for that team yeah it was a massive result not performance um but you don't necessarily look at the quality of performance when you're in the final couple of games of a premier league title Challenge and the context of having won once in their previous 16 visits to Old Trafford you can change the Personnel but perhaps you don't change the aura or the psychological um stumbling block that clearly had built up over time and so it was very much just about going to Old Trafford getting the three points and taking the Premier League title raced down to to the final day of the season that's what Arsenal have done they Mikel artetta the whole club the footballing structure should be applauded for that and it's really quite you know remarkable to see that they've stayed the distance this time um which they didn't do a year ago and we'll come on to discuss that a bit more um I did feel it was a very mature performance there was couple of moments where United built up ahead of steam their fans were up as well and you saw gacho running at Ben White at celba and you thought in previous years Arsenal could well have crumbled a sense of deja vu would be returning and yet those two players in particular stood up to everything that was thrown their way as did most of their teammates um and again you mitigate that by sort of pointing to the performances of individuals and Collective uh gacho didn't quite have the pois at the last moment which many Manchester United players in in Years Gone by might have um United were extremely depleted and and they didn't really offer a coherent threat to Arsenal if they did it might have been a very different story but let's just deal in the fact here Arsenal have gone to Old Trafford they've posted a win they've now recorded um unprecedented sort of points totals goal scored um you know their defensive pairing of Gabrielle and uh Williams liba I think 33 appearances this season together that's just extraordinary um it's been a magical season for Arsenal so far of course people listening to this not of an Arsenal persuasion would say how can you call it magical when they haven't won anything yet um and they might not do but I think this is a genuine step forward in their project um they are a seriously competitive Force who have bought uh who have built organically they've recruited well um they have advanced as a club on and off the pitch and it appears that they are here to stay as a force which is really quite something when you consider they're up against the might of Manchester City and everything they have behind them experience wealth and so on um and that for Arsenal and their supporters is a step change uh for those of us who remember where they were not too long ago I was looking back through some of our old athletic articles about Mikel artetta about edu about the cronies and the comments below the pieces were very mixed to say the least and and many people slagging them off slagging us off for reporting calling it our Teta PR krony PR edu PR it was nothing of the sort it was just an attempt to explain impartially what they were trying to do and the direction they were trying to go in even when times were tough in around 2020 when there was external pressure on arteta but there was never internal pressure they were squarely behind him and the project and today we are seeing why yeah and and Jordan um this brings me nicely on to this idea of of of trusting the process then um because naturally you'd get sense you got a sense that M Letta was very optimistic after uh the match yesterday talking about Arsenal making history and whatnot but this has been the big thing isn't it hasn't it you know when Arsenal haven't been playing at their best we've always spoken about trusting the process but you know you got to say this team has shown resilience maturity and and and a mental strength now that perhaps we should be trusting that process yeah I think so um and you look at the performance of William CA last night and you know it's a thir big game this season away from home that he's been man of the match you think ety had anfield where you know they were under pressure for a good 45 minutes and that triangle of him Gabrielle and Delan rice stood for and I think again last night you had that one where gacho gets in behind Ben White and he's bearing down and goal and it was a sort ofor Jew um and he just stood stood his ground until the very last minute and and and and produced a an inch perfect tackle so um yeah I think when Arsenal haven't played at the best you need something to fall back on and I think that structure is what's underpinned the whole season you know few gos considered I mean going into the game against Manchester United they've considered fewer shots the whole season the man united have ConEd this calendar year you know I think that shows how Stark the difference is in in the two teams and what the idea is so um yeah I think I think that has has been a big difference from last season is that you you go back to games like anfield where the sort of rock kicked in at the end of the end of the season and they just couldn't arrest the decline and I think people looked at maybe the Villa Game you thought is that maybe the wobble beginning but they've they've won 15 of the last 17 40 46 points from 51 they've beat the total from last season and I think at the end of last season if you said you will be better you will get better points total than you got last season I think a lot of Arsenal fans regardless of you know what city do you would have taken that because you know it progress is one thing um but I think that was the the big question mark was could Arsenal do it back to back was last season you know caught everyone by surprise was it a bit of a fluke season did they really have the players that can do it consistently I think now that's almost 2 and a half years now title winning form um and you know the cruel thing is it might still end up not being title winning form um you knowa said maybe three or four months ago you need 90 points now to win the Premier League and maybe his prediction will come true because arsenal were on course for 89 but I mean that that's an 18 previous Seasons that is equaled or bettered the winning points total so it's very difficult to even if they do come up short really pick holes and say oh only took one point from six against fil him they lost that game at West Ham they lost that to Aston Villa he should have never dropped averts for that game or moved him back to Midfield I think it's almost impossible to start you know retrospectively going back through the season Arsenal have been phenomenal the second half of the Season almost flipped the momentum from the way it was last year where they were unbelievable and then sort of faded away this year has been building building building and after the initial teething problems where averts coming in and rice getting used to things um I I think they've just yeah you can just see that they're into a Groove now and MAV up front and thard on the left now they just look so much more poent yeah I tell you what though I mean we talk about progress and just throwing it out there and I'd love to hear both your thoughts on this start with you David you know H how much can we trust this process if Arsenal inevitably end up empty-handed at the end of the season you know we don't know whether or not Arsenal going to win this season uh the Premier League I mean what happens next season if Arsenal come painfully close and don't win it again well if arson Wenger used to say fourth is like a trophy in that day and age then a close second to Manchester City must be like winning the treble um no it's a really good point and uh Jordan raises some great points within their actual performance and and the way they've developed on the football side I just want to quick bring back to a couple of instances that has shown the maturity of this squad um they had setbacks around the turn of the year they experienced a dip in performance and then I know it's been trotted out time and again now but that Dubai trip and reset which we're assured involved nothing sort of secret and and and miraculous and and we're going to find out that you know artetta special potions of some sort Ian there was nothing there it it it was was more that just came at the right time and was done in the right way we talked on previous podcasts about how there was a decision on whether they should allow family members to come with on that trip initially they weren't but then they were and they created this really good environment when they came back as opposed to playing a bit more horizontally before and then art de ro wrote a really good piece about that um then you know they experienced the defeat to Aston Villa and many people would have said Arsenal would have crumbled at that point and yet they've risen again and shown um great to use a troin expression konus like um this is this is a team that experienced the loss of William CBA last year um and then when they stuttered against Aston Villa everybody was sort of saying of a non- Arsenal persuasion Oh I thought it was just about William celba well he has shown himself to be absolutely critical to what Arsenal are doing and so there's so many pointers um at which you look at uh this not being progress if we're gonna quote Michel artetta but actually history then you turn the page to next season they may end this season with a big trophy but if they don't then um that must be next on the agenda they'll want to become regular Champions League qualifiers because this will be only their second season back in the big time they reach the quarterfinals for the first time in 14 years um so that was a step forward um but you do want to see premier league title challenges only one team can win it and you're going up against goliaths they do need to do better in the Cup competitions domestically for sure um and the Champions League teams have shown that it's not a lottery but you can go far without necessarily being the best team in the tournament look at brusso Dortmund this year they're through to the final despite having a decidedly average domestic season in the Bundesliga so um it's not like Arsenal just get a free pass and and they can't win anything for however many years it's been a long time now without a trophy it was metta's first season the FA Cup and and before that there was a pretty long way they you could say should have done better in the Europa League Andy when they got to the final against the Chelsea who already qualified for the champions league and and picked up a trophy that season so and then you go back fa cups under the um the final days of arson Wenger Etc um so so expectations will rise that they'll be looking to use the transfer market to make another step forward it's almost like adapt and develop or or die in a way because your man City's are going to get stronger Liverpool are coming back with a new coach um Chelsea Manchester United are fighting to rebuild their clubs and you know cyclical uh nature of football suggests that they will be there or thereabouts Tottenham are making big efforts Aston Villa are trying to break in as well Newcastle have the wealth on paper to do so and and the ambition too um and so yeah that's that's the the the the shifting expectation then there's also um a reflection so you're talking about trust the process well this is a process and a project I know people don't like that word that basically had no um trust or faith uh there were protests to get rid of the cronies from Arsenal um people wanted Alicia usmanov to come into the club as the majority owner how um fateful would that have been as things have panned out in the world they wanted Daniel eek to take over the Spotify billionaire um and there were extremely high-profile notable former Arsenal players Legends who were backing that attempted takeover that would have removed the cronies if it had gone through there was huge skepticism about Mikel arteta in the early days arteta out trending on social media there was a period where edu as technical director now sporting director was being called every name under the Sun by sections of the public and so through um being absolutely clear in where they wanted to go and how they wanted to get there and the way in which they would go about it and stick to that despite any sort of external noise and conversation the way they would recruit the way they've improved the medical side of things where they've pretty much got a whole Squad available going to Old Trafford in the penultimate match of the Season like there's Testament to Arsenal in every single Department they're even probably the most notable club for some of their kit collaborations with Adidas and so on like it's a a really good time for the the club and and the supporters um and the trust the process idea is being evidenced in front of of our very eyes and I think many clubs many supporters would like to be in Arsenal's position many fans would like to have that sort of thing at their place many players um look at Arsenal uh in the market and would like to play for them and I think you know when I speak to people who work in recruitment they're talking about Arsenal being the standard that they're looking to achieve and that is a complete about turn they're not perfect at Youth Level for example um they've got very few players compared to some of their Rivals of of the required level like a Manchester City and a Chelsea maybe even a a Tottenham and Manchester United and they are trying to address that as we've spoken about recently um and so they are a work in progress but the trust in the process is um has been Vindicated so far yeah Jordan I mean you can have the greatest merch in the world right um but if if you're not winning the Premier League league for instance your team looks great all all the kit but no idea right let's face it can this fan base deal with another trophyless season can the cronies who've made a massive gam taken a massive gamble considering you know that the toxic nature of things previously take another season trophyless I mean I guess that's the tension in the modern days that we talk about projects a lot but there's so little patience in modern football so how to Mario those two things is difficult but I think because arteta was starting off at such a low base and he got that early trophy he's got a lot of credit in the bank and I I think You' be hard pushed to find any Arsenal fans who would turn around and if they don't win it next weekend would say well that's him it's black or white he's got to go um I think there's a feeling that it's a matter of you know when not if with Arsenal and if they don't win it then it will be next year it'll be the year after that and I think you can have faith in that idea because of the average age of the squad it's very very young and they've been so aggressive and and timeing those players down um you know celba Gabrielle Martinelli Saka even ramsdale before they brought in Rya all of these players were were tied down on on Long Long deals that will keep them there till the 28 29 so there's clearly a longterm plan there and I think a lot of these players now the seven or eight of them that you can see they are ever present first choice and they'll be the starters next season guess the only concern is that we've gone from a big six to now probably a sort of optimistic eight or a nine where you're thinking Villa Newcastle Brighton they're all really pushing and trying to up the level and what's what who's to say that someone like her spur of f you know it's given the keys and can really you know level up or Chelsea maybe project comes together next season or Villa you know break the glass ceiling like Leicester you know there's there's nothing really to say that a team can't come from nowhere a bit like Arsenal did last season because no one saw that coming from really anywhere so I guess that's the concern is that if you don't do it when you're in the thick of it and you do have a real chance you know there's no guarantee that you can maintain 84 89 points it may be that there's a slight dip but I don't think with this Arsenal team that they're going to go anywhere I I look at him and I think that is now the new sort of floor for the points total um but I guess everything comes down really to guardiola's Future and does he go will depend whether he goes will we have a big bearing really on how this Arsenal team are viewed and in the years to come because klopp's time time is obviously coming to the end at Liverpool and you look back and you think they've got one premier league title to to show for the to show for the their efforts and that's a team that's registered points totals of 99 98 and I think 92 or 93 and they' one title to show so I think if if we're in the business of looking purely at a spreadsheet and thinking how many titles have they got then this Arsenal team might not be go down as one of the all great alltime great sides but I think over the next two or three three years if if Gua moves on they're primed to be the next sort of Mega team to step into those shoes and really dominate um but yeah I think I think what would have helped them was a good cup a good cup Victory the last couple of years they've got the team to do it I felt in the Champions League our Tera was a little bit he played with a handbreak on it was the same with PTO was the same with Bayern Munich as well where you could see there was they were too conscious about giving giving away something at the back and I think at that level you've got to be more aggressive if you're going to try and actually break down these teams so I think that'll be a learning cover but GE was speaking about that this week is that is that Arta still learning and he's seen him develop as a coach and how he handles emotional side of it how he deals from week to week so you know I think that is something that maybe goes under you know underappreciated is AAS in his early 40s this is still his first managerial job he is learning on the job um and he's DEC he's learning what what works and how to handle the situation and you look at them now and and you go they have clearly learned from this time last year where they're able to cope with a pressure and they're able to produce a Man City Style run of wins where they W 15 out of 17 so yeah I think there there's been huge progress and I don't see that now stopping yeah just to add um that's really Salient observation by Jordan because we were both in Etta's press conference after the game yesterday and he was um seemed quite frustrated and disappointed by their performance early on in the match um they weren't delivering what I guess they had planned or what he was expecting um that wasn't a performance of Champions in that isolated game you know when you see these kind of um moments as a team close in on the title whether it was Arsenal uh back in their Trophy winning campaigns Man City that we've seen year after year now um Manchester United in their Heyday Chelsea and so on they kind of Steamroller teams the best teams um let alone one that was as depleted as Manchester United I I rarely recall such a a bad Manchester United lineup there are the mitigating factors of course uh and and the bench was scary uh and Arsenal didn't find their fluency um and that's why it became a match to just tick off and Jordan's absolutely right in in really big matches like Bayern Munich over two legs Etc they've not really um impressed in the way ideally you would expect them to and they could well have been beaten yesterday um or at least drawn and that would have been pretty much the title over so um yeah let's not get too carried away maybe I was before um there is Improvement that that needs to take place because when you watch City at the moment they're coasting through these matches and that goes to show their quality and experience when it really matters Arsenal I'm beating against the big six fewest goals conceded fewest XG conceded most clean sheets in the Premier League FL fewest shots on target conceded I mean this shows a different playing style and a and a defensive resilience that that is super impressive have you been impressed by it yeah I mean I really have and I think in November I wrote about the fact that when you come back to look at this this Asal team in say 10 20 years what will they be defined by and I think it will be that defensive solidity you know even you look at the front line havs is is almost defined as much by what he does to trigger the press and how he sort of you know characterizes what this team's Collective style is as much as it is about his goal scoring there um so I think that has been the the real basis of what they've built built it on and it and it comes back to the idea that ala is simply just a pep clone and I mean I think it's I think it's quite disrespectful when people people try to to make out that someone with such a different career to Guardiola who never actually made it to Barcelona who spent 20 years playing in Scotland France most six months back home at soci D but the rest of his career in England forging a completely different style to to what Guardiola grew up with you know I think it is is disingenuous to make out that because someone spent a few seasons as his assistant that he therefore does not have any Divergence of ideas you know of have picked up from G he's the best coach in the world maybe that has ever been um but you know I think you can see the style now I think maybe in the last couple of years it was harder to to to to differentiate because you were watching Arsenal try to find out who they are as a team but I think now they're comfortable in their own skin and you can see there's that blend of direct directness now uh and I think that comes back to maybe it's maybe it's called arteta schooling under David Moyes for so many years at Everton I know we've spoken about that before but you looking at this final week and thinking he's got he's old team Everton he's facing and he's got David Moyes trying to do him a favor maybe um at West Ham maybe he goes out with one last backs to the wall defensive Master Class um to help out his Prodigy but yeah I think I think it is that that triangle of celba Gabrielle and rice that for me has been the big big difference and I I guess next season if you if you throw it forward you look at it and think okay rice was sort of brought in with the idea of being the number six and he was going to let hav and odard go but as it's evolved and AR had to deal play with the cards he's dealt with injuries and L h's not really hitting the ground running that position he's adapted and now rice is now mostly playing as a number eight and I guess when you're looking at the summer recruitment I think that's maybe something that he has to nail down is do I see rice as a six because then you can go spend on an eight or vice versa um I think that's maybe something that they've got to decide is is hav it's now a number nine for us mostly I know there'll be loation there'll be games where they dip in and out but I I think that's the big step now is you know do we see rice as a number eight who can go forward or is that triangle there the thing that we want to build around which to me I could see that triangle being there for the next four or five years and you wouldn't really need to change it so um yeah that to me has been has been fundamental to Arsenal and is what has separated them from from the rest of the teams uh David yeah Jordan brings on uh brings a a great point up um what does a summer look like how does this team evolve fundamentally um who comes in uh to add quality to this team yeah I'm sure the deliberations on that are starting to take place now if they hadn't already um there was of course the well documented um pursuit of a a central Striker perhaps that still happens perhaps the need is lessened by the rise of havs in the number nine role but that doesn't mean it won't happen just as a personal view I think it probably should um there are some good options on the market and if Arsenal can make it work financially just watching them at Old Trafford yesterday the um option of a recognized um frontman uh I was about to say prolific but you can't have everything and and the supply and demand don't quite match in football at the moment there there are many clubs looking for that person there's not too many TI Omri and D drers around right now um but clearly a decision needs to be taken on that position and I don't think there's any concrete outcome to that just yet um as always some backup in the wide areas um so that's not a new area of interest um and we've seen multiple names linked with it we've mentioned them on on these pods um I think there's a huge decision on Declan Rice's position is it going to be a number eight or is it going to be a number six if it's going to be a number eight where he has shown himself to be um maybe more capable than people knew when they saw him at West Ham and England um he does have an attacking threat and and goals in his game and and even assists and I thought against Bournemouth he really showed himself running into the box for that goal that he can be a number eight then they would recruit a number six somebody like a zubba mendi for example uh Bruno gimar R is also viewed uh by Arsenal Newcastle and others in football as being a six really rather than an eight although with the capabilities of operating in the eight if needed however if they decide Dean rice will be a six going forward um which many people still feel is his most natural position then they'll look to recruit by the sounds of it an eight um and again we don't know firm names yet the eight Market is you know you hear a number of clubs being linked with um your pakar your kudas um AA in a way so I'm not saying they're Arsenal targets but clubs at that level will be looking in in the same bracket um lots of this will be predicated on on potential outgoings up top somebody like Eddie and ker let's see what happens with jayus um what about the advanced midfielders like M Smith row and Fabio Vieira them in behind them georgino has signed a new contract will Thomas party be retained or will some offers come in for him that can be considered um sambi leonga Muhammad Al neni then you go towards the backline I think they'd be looking to do something at left back um although I thought Tommy ASU was good again there yesterday um a really impressive performance and he is Dependable when fit um but clearly zinchenko there's a question that needs to be answered there is he going to continue at Arsenal if he is is it going to be on a new contract or not um Kiran tii Nuno Tavarez potential departures for them um Central defense looks to be pretty locked in unless somebody leaves uh and right back of course uh is strong especially when Timber returns to full fitness they'll then need to sign a backup goalkeeper if Aon Aaron ramsdale leaves um which means it is going to be really busy at Arsenal but if there's anything we've learned from recent years it's one that the CR um are prepared to back Arsenal in the Market within their PSR position um and Tim Lewis on their behalf playing an increasingly active role um Rich garlic will formerly take over as managing director once chief executive vinai vesham leaves this summer you got edu in his relatively new role as sporting director with ever Moore Authority you got arteta of course as the manager and there's a recruitment operation that sees edu have a deputy sporting director um and and even he Jason ATO has some people around him who appear to be doing a really good job and then there'll be questions about integration of young players um you would assume it it is time for um Ethan nany to start to get first team game time he's really impressed people in and around the first team with not only his fantastic technical ability but also his maturity and his conduct and behavior um let's see what they do with Miles Lewis Skelly of course because he I think has been triing at left back a little bit in in first team training and and there's a talent there as well but some of these players might look to be given lone spells um there'll be some departures out of contract players on the youth side as well and in behind them you see um a couple of promising youngsters like Obi Martin and even further back max Dalman so um yeah there's there's a lot to be done at First Team level but there's also an integration of Youth as well which I think Arsenal and their supporters would like to see yeah super l i mean I just realized I'm just looking at it now Mikel aleta's contracts up next season I mean that we're talking about a project we're talking about TI players down I mean this guy has to stay on that's another contract Arsenal need to get over the line surely yeah many managers leave it until relatively late Pep Guardiola I remember we broke the story during the cata World Cup so around November time 2022 um and he sign a new deal for a contract that was expiring the following summer so it was approaching the last 6 months um artetta last time I think renewed with around a year to go so we're getting into that bracket now it's not something to be talking about in these final throws of the Premier League season but once the season is out the way yeah you've got to address that you've got to address his staff as well um I see a manager who appears to want to continue in this project and a club who definitely do not want to lose him so uh my assumption is that they just need to sit down have a conversation get the numbers right the vision the project and everything be on the same page and then I've got nothing to suggest that they won't continue um there's definitely going to be interest in Mich Etta from elsewhere now and in the future we've already seen links to Barcelona and others um there'll be vacancies arising left right and Center not least at somewhere like Manchester City where he was assistant to Pep Guardiola pep guardiola's contract expires in the summer of 2025 and we've got no news on that either um but this appears to be a very happy marriage and no evidence to suggest it will not continue although we don't have any updates on talks just yet all right David I know you've got to go thanks so much for your time um and Jordan just stay on I just got a few more I want to dig uh from Your Arsenal Fountain of Knowledge David cheers man thank you I mean this brings me to my next Point Jordan last time we spoke you spoke about Mikel Etta um building a dynasty or Arsenal and within that you actually spoke about strengthening in the summer especially at that Center forward position don't know if you know Benjamin cesco's agent was in the crowd yesterday at Old Trafford I mean I don't want to start the rumor mill going but do you feel that number nine position is definitely something Arsenal needs to look at in the summer yeah I think it is because as much as I've been hammering the the idea that that hav should be placed as a number nine until the end of the season and ARA should never change that and never really move it I think it's it feels like a temporary fix for the situation to find themselves in where you know Jesus is really not been able to stay fit a lot of the Season he this knee problem that is it keeps coming back and you think how reliable is he when he plays he's not the prolific goal scorer as great a player as he is he's not the prolific goal scorer that AR haing compared to howand at city or or even Salah who still delivers massive numbers from the right hand side so I I think it is somewhere that you can't be foled into thinking because they've got to this position with havs and chopping and changing who it is whether it's dard playing as a false nine I don't think he can be load into full sense of security and I don't think Arta will be that this is somewhere that they can get away with that forever um he spoken about that before about competing by sharing the load but I think there's a limitation on that in terms of long term so I think that has got to be a priority for Arsenal I don't know what style a forward it would be because to me it would be somebody like a PTY box Striker like an aom or or like a Tony that sort of profile where it's a physical profile and they don't drop in they're more of a where they can run him behind or you can go go direct to him it's less about link up play I think that would give Arsenal something different but to me the priority's got to be the left hand side of the pitch CU you look at the the relationship between white odard and sacka they play every game it's Arsenal's whole strategy is skewed down that side compared to the left hand side Martinelli's falling out of favor with had H's playing Left Center mid Rice playing there Bros playing there left back we've chopped and changed about four or five different players so I I I think you look at it and you think that left hand side has never really clicked and if you can bring in a left back and a left eight and really start to build a similar level understanding as the right hand side then God knows what what level Arsenal can go to because if this is what the like just now having really only one fully functioning engine in a team then I think if you can mirr that on the left hand side by bringing in a similar odard type player maybe right footed because I don't think the balance looked as good when when hav was playing there maybe if you get somebody coming in from the other side just to make them a bit more unpredictable that to me would be the be the ideal solution and I think I think um I mentioned the last time that Kudos would be a player that I think would take a lot of boxes if the budget means that if you can't shift players out for the price you want and budgets are restricted he kills a lot of BS with one stone in terms of being able to play as a nine was a 10 an eight right left and I think you know I think you go to the very top Kudos I've said that before you know he didn't go to Brighton because he wanted to release CLA because there's no doubt in him he's he representative mind that in a year's time after one season in the Premier League that we would been in this position talking about him and I think that's come true um so I would not be surprised if he's someone at the top teams are looking at again to try and try and take from West Ham but for sure he's he definitely suits Arsenal profile of player being versatile in in various positions and just very quickly before you go you talk about upfront and I guess also gets me thinking about this weird permutation whereby you've got Kai cover to the manager spent so much time building up his confidence he's now a regular in the team if Arsenal do go for another attacking player what then happens to a player who is actually now showing incredible promise at this point of the season a player that's been a great link up man a player that's also scored really vital goals to get Arsenal to where they've got to this season do you just be ruthless again and then maybe he becomes a squad player I don't know like it's it's a quite a strange one isn't it and it is and I guess that's why we are not managers and K who just says yeah Rams we had a great season but because that's what I think we need to do I I don't think there is much room to go he's been good for us so I have to be loyal to him and I have to stick by him you know what that does to have it I don't know because you don't want to leave him as a sort of a sort of refugee within the team where he's trying to you know any any Haven to be a a start a starter somewhere but I think that is been his problem the last four years is that you can't hang your hat on in a certain position but to me he's best as a number nine and I'm pretty sure there would still be occasions where he would play there but I think that flexibility has been a key part of Arsenal strategy in signing these Premier League proven players I'd be surprised if they now move away from from one of those criteria which has been to to go after those players who have proven themselves in England so I imagine that they'll follow a similar a similar pattern and try to bring bring in players who who don't want need the time to to adapt yeah okay brilliant well Jordan thanks so much for your time and also David as well and also for more reaction to
