[Music] all right everybody we're back my next guest is an Emmy Award nominated actor who starred on Arrested Development currently you can see him in the film Blades of Glory please welcome Will Arnett [Applause] all right [Applause] wow wow oh man man that is the that is the cockiest entrance I've ever seen yeah oh yeah you're a bad guy I am pumped up to being San Francisco [Applause] that guy [Laughter] I just met one of my heroes backstage really Gordon defense Gordon's fisherman oh man he has a good fish stick yeah oh you met uh leave it alone uh did you meet George Lucas backstage I did not I did not know how many bags I would have liked to I I actually uh ran across didn't run across them I I ran into him once uh in L.A yeah a couple weeks ago true story I know I know but just hold uh uh I ran into him I was I was outside a building and I was there with my manager who will remain Peter Prince Potter [Laughter] and um so anyway I was standing outside this building George Lucas comes out and I'm like oh my God George Lucas you know the big time direct Star Wars I'm such a just in awe of the guy and he watched my in my my manager like a manager is on his BlackBerry and just like this and he sees him coming and he's about five feet away and just goes hi okay and George Lucas who's just seeming like a nice guy just goes hi and keeps walking to a waiting car and my manager just goes big fan I'm like that story are you an idiot yeah yeah as George the guy big fan thank God you told him yeah thank God you can take your eyes off your blackberry for a second yeah now he can sleep now let's talk about I want to ask you about Blades of Glory uh very funny movie you uh you knew how to skate for this film but what you had to learn I'm told is you had to learn how to act like a figure skater is that correct yeah well we did some very extensive skate training I did have the benefit of knowing how to skate because I'm Canadian and uh [Applause] we're born in Canada I think he said Skating sucks uh he's in favor of a bridge collapse yeah [Applause] this is exciting yeah um so anyway so uh so as we were training to the to skate my wife and I had to learn all these moves and they said you know do this and do that and we were listening intently for all the skating instructions and then they said you know there are certain faces that you have to make and I said whoa hold it right there I said I've I've been waiting for this day my entire life I know how to do this I know how to do all the skating stuff you can teach me but all the face stuff I'm good like the uh like I just knew this stuff like like the uh you know you go to the kiss and cry area which is what they call you know after when the skaters go and they stand they sit on the side there with their coach they look up and I knew all this stuff like the um like the waiting for your scores but and you're breathing heavily but uh you're trying not to look like your sweating sir like this [Laughter] and then and then there's the uh and then there's the uh the score is not as good as you would hoped it would be but uh but you try not to look like it bothers you right which is like the uh oh okay [Laughter] but my favorite my favorite is when you're actually skating you're in a place that's like this only four times as big with you know just crowd all the way around and you're skating and you've got to lift your head up I think you could do this right well you you lift you're standing up and you've got to hit the back row and you've got your chin up and you're just proud and smiling I like it just imagine yourself on the top of a mountain Conan you're mad uh you are and I think this is fair to say and you've proven out on my show before one of the greatest air guitarists ever in the history of the world and uh you did a rendition for me once of the Law and Order theme would you mind I think these people would love to see it all right let me come on all right [Applause] [Music] as she retired this number a little while ago but I'll do it anyway [Applause] okay [Music] [Applause] [Laughter] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Applause] I've officially retired that number but I have I have been working on a new number I think it's a real crowd pleaser it's from the show that everybody likes does it make you happy to listen to the music from Seinfeld [Music] [Applause] that was great I got one more all right keep on San Francisco how about a little Sun Tanya [Applause] right yes for me [Applause] foreign [Applause]
