they'll hibernate then they wake up in the spring just as the milkweed is starting to grow back but they don't make it all the way home it's their sons and daughters who will finish the trip they lay eggs before they died that will hatch into caterpillars the caterpillar eats and eats forms of chrysalis and finally becomes a butterfly the sons and daughters of those original butterflies will continue the journey home that is one incredible life story the new generation of monarchs is here safe and sound and heading north Martin you think you're tough huh think you're really ferocious well they eat the most is the eucalyptus really no Jimmy they're poisonous unless you're a koala with a very specialized digestive system that takes out the poisons and flushes it out your liver whether the koalas seem so tired it's not time for bed cuz it takes a lot out of their system to digest the leaves so they sleep a lot I think I'll stick to what my stomach is specialized to eat pizza [Music] glue-glue that deep sea shrimp has the best defense mechanism ever when it feels threatened it shoots out a glowing blue that confuses its predator predator attacks the glue the shrimp slips away well the food web well look at it this way Koki it's how nature works I mean if these predators weren't around in no time there'd be too many of these herbivores soon there'd be no plants left and no one good point dude but let's go find that Wolf Pack the smell is off the charts leave me till you flower nectar kinkajou amazing it's not only insects that pollinate flowers some mammals do - Chris are you there just checking oh good sniffer to find the flower and a long tongue tongue wipe up the nectar hey let me have a taste oh I could use that tail too [Music] Wow plants even know how to lure in nighttime creatures like kinkajous rodents and bats these plants can Lauren just about anything some even make their flowers look like another insect so that when a bee comes to a ticket they get covered with pollen and my favorite the ones that smell like rotten meat to attract flies cool these plants know all the tricks in the book that's it we've got to think like a plant plants don't think but the way nature designed them is smart so if we use all their tricks we can lure in any pollinator out there and the more pollinators that come to the party the more likely one will be carrying says no problem that's what I do they're picking parasites from the shark's teeth and mouth for them it's food so it's a good deal sharks rays and all kinds of fish line up that these clean sucker lucky shot gourmand well one thing I know about birds they can't fly right unless their feathers are just so and I'm not talking about so muddy it'll take you forever to clean off your creature power suit and by that time I will have surprised your blue brother and the rest of your friends and I will recapture my record I can't find my creature pod to warn them alright buddy thanks for the escort but you better get far away from here now cuz no one gourmand he could be hiding behind any one of these clouds now to get an eagle eye on the situation cuz all Raptors have awesome eyesight engage
