WILD $110,000 TRADE at the Burbank Card Show 😵

good to see you again man we did that epic trade deal at Dallas for the curry RPA which unfortunately I then had a move at the national I got too good of an offer on it but it was it was an awesome deal that we did I can't can't blame you for it but I see you picked up this awesome Curry gold for it I did you want to look at the Gold a pride off your hands here it's a $100,000 deal here so you know over $100,000 deal it's a big deal all right she breaks I've seen an incredible card you have on your Instagram that you posted yesterday here at the birbank card show show me this card all right so it is a rookie Luka Flawless out of 25 wow so the idea of picking up a high-end Luca RPA is interesting to me and when I saw on CH breaks Instagram that uh she had just brought this to the show I messaged her and said hey bring this by the booth if you can because I'm interested in looking at it that's kind of where my head was at when I was buying it yeah it's a good one to have and you set up at all the Dallas shows too and I'm from Dallas so so there's all kinds of advantage to you here to have this card but I also know that you very actively buy and sell so I'm sure the business side of you is interested in moving it um what are you looking for for the card I'm looking for 25 25,000 okay and I haven't looked up um recent coms on that I will in just a second but what did you base that on so I was looking at obviously the recent ones and there hasn't been a ton because it's 25 so it's kind of hard to gauge the exact value on it so take a look at comps kind of see what you think and then maybe we can get a deal done okay awesome are there any cards here that you would potentially be interested in doing some trade as part of that so I'm going to be honest I paid cash on it so I'm really looking for cash on want cash primarily or entirely okay all right let me take a look while I'm looking this up I'm curious to get the audience's opinion what do you guys think of Luca like what do you think of Luca's market right now what do you think of his long-term card potential where do you think that could go for me you're looking at one of the top five players in the NBA and his card Market has really really been beat up and to me Now's the Time to buy before the season is you know starting just around the corner but curious to see what you think in the comments yeah so I see one of his um horizontal versions of the Flawless RPA out of 25 sold the other day Beck at nine same grade the horizontal ones are not typically as valuable as the vertical ones that one sold for 14k and then another one sold right before that in a PSA 9 for 132k that's actually a variation of it the star Swatch signatures so if none of these have sold recently then the question would be trying to kind of get a ratio right makes it a little bit tougher right so I think the last one of the actual same card was like 2022 obviously it's a lot different than now there is a PSA 9 that's sold out of 25 for 192 on Golden in June that's kind of a uh probably a decent comp to look at yeah I see a 95 sold for 30k and you said you want cash on it preferably okay preferably I mean maybe like Little trade little trade but you're primarily cash yes okay all right let me do this I'm definitely interested in the card okay I probably wouldn't do 25 cash I think that's a little bit high but I would but if I I would be interested in doing something with it in terms of cash let me see what I sell over the next uh hours we have a long weekend we have we have some time so let me see if I end up moving another big card I'll hope you move a big card how about that I will you want to buy that one yeah I I'll sell that one yeah uh you see your price on it yeah I don't know if you check recent last sold 2600 okay I thought it was 28 something but you might be right there may have been One S so today a 700 2600 okay I'd be willing to offer 2K cash I think that's going to be a little low for me let me see where at yeah so two days ago one did 2812 um I haven't seen the you know the newest comp yet but it's obviously been bouncing around it aot you know 27 the one right before that did 27 I'm not in that much of a hurry to sell that that's a pretty liquid car so for yeah 2K would definitely be too low on that for me there number I'm pretty confident I could get 2600 bucks cash from it not numbered so probably yeah so 550 feels a little high to me so that's probably why it would be a probably closer to 400 on it m i do that on it if you wanted to or or if not then that's totally fine as well do you have any Trevor lawrences yeah I don't have a lot around that price point I mean I've got like I got like Lamar Jackson that's right around that price venicius soccer player LeBron course he's been playing in the World Cup and has just been popping off the charts hot those three I like just because I think that they've got some continued upwards potential do you do football during the football season or do you tend to get out of it and then switch it's funny you say that so I'm actually going to talk about this on my next Vlog because in the past yes but now I I just something's different about this season and the way the car market is I think people are still going to be buying and there's still going to be an opportunity if how comes out week one and throws three touchdowns 300 yards it's not like it's too late to buy him right you can still buy him on on Sunday night and Tuesday when the car comes to the mail you'll be able to sell it for more you know so I think and if Tua comes out and throws a pick and then people are like oh I don't want two no more there's opportunity to buy him and then wait till the next week so like I'm still going to buy I'm still going to buy football because I think there's still opportunity yeah you know now will I buy a card on a on a Friday and and wait I don't know but I think that Sunday night it's there's opportunities to buy Cards whether they won or they lost or they play good or they play bad like there's going to be opportunities do you have a do you have a maximum amount of time that you like to like hold on to a card for 72 hours I like to have that that I like to keep it mov you just like to turn the cash I like to turn the cash but I mean ideally a week or two I mean some of these cards I've had like I've had these like two weeks I just got this one yesterday but the strategy I assume is turn it try to get a bit of profit off of it but you don't want to hold it too long because then you're subject to kind of the W of the market right you know I post my cards up so it's like I'm not trying to post it every every day or every other day for sale oh I still have it cuz it just kind of hurts the card I feel like you know what I mean so yeah yeah I know that's true too you want to you want after I posted three times I'm like okay you you yeah you have the reputation of like picking cards up and then then being gone like 48 hours later so I guess you want to maintain that reputation right if you've got the same card in your case for too long maybe I maybe I'm asking too much so I need to bring the price down you know so that makes sense that's kind of the way I think about it I'm interested in potentially the Tua okay or the Anthony Edwards could do mean or the Kade I'm interested in any of them I could do I could do a I could do a little bit of cash I just don't want to do um I can't do all caps in any of those right now I think that I think that's around 12 no sorry I'm low 19 the one before that sold for 22 okay so I was hoping to get around that for it being here in La that only comes up like a couple times a year trade wise I wouldn't mind trading this I wouldn't mind trading the Edwards okay the Cade I'm probably looking mostly for cash on the Cade okay so you wanted to be around 11 on that yes scares me a little bit about this is that the prism gold out of 10 a PSA 8 did 9,000 granted a psaa but yeah worries me a little bit that the prism is is doing a little bit less than the you know select xrc so 10 of that's probably 30 2530 maybe all right the Trevor lence gold out of 10 PSA 10 justed 139 139 okay obviously Trevor Lawrence right now in the Market's quite a bit hotter than Tua yeah so I'm trying to get kind of a comparison sense there so what I'm going to do is I'm going to look at tua's xrc Silver and I'm going to compare that to Trevor Lawrence's xrc silver and a PSA 10 just to kind of get a ratio idea of how they're both trending right now so Tua had an xrc silver the other day that just sold for $410 and let me see where a Trevor Lawrence would be of the same card quite a bit more so Trevor Lawrence's are about 1,500 wow yeah so the Trevor Lawrence xrc Market right now is what about Silvers it's it's about it's really doing about like three and a half times what about tie Dy tie Dy you want to check tie Dy me look at a tie Dy at a 25 maybe a little closer so the last Trevor Lawrence tie-dye out of 25 psa10 xrc went for 49.50 okay and the last Tua xrc out of 25 PSA 10 went for 1,600 wow right around the same time so it is kind of a yeah it is still kind of a you know 3x little over a 3X type spread yeah so I'm going to have trouble on that one for sure no I get it but I do appreciate it for sure yes sir we tried maybe we'll try something a little later for the Anthony Edwards yeah we can for sure down for the LeBron maybe you know we can do something towards the LeBron what did you say you're asking for in that uh I said 10 and how did you get on that how did you get to that um I just figured it so it so it sold last year for 16 eight I believe so I just said his Market down I think the whole Market in general was down a little bit so let me let me think on that card okay and I'll and I know you're interested in Lebron so and I got your number so I can always text you or whatever sounds good Jeff that I have interest in for sure so let's talk value here for okay yeah remind me where you're at and why if you don't mind I so my as on it was my as on it was going to start at 95 okay um I'd be willing to work with Y it a little bit but that's you know I'm going to be up in that neighborhood on the card the last you know public sale of it I think was 120 yeah um that was uh you know end of last year I think so obviously things have come down a little things have come down a little since then at the same time that was also during a fairly low period for the market too so yeah but it's I know it's not worth that anymore I know it's definitely come down since then why don't we see what you like and see if we can get cuz I'm into some cards better than others so if it works it works it's catching your eye the most there's obviously less risk in involved in in these three well really I guess those four that's more that would be just more of a PC card right so we kind of have two different categories of of cards here y we've got the we've got the alltime greats the Jordan the maze the mantle and sha y and then we've got the you know upand comers uh in a couple of cases somewhat proven but you know no championships right Cade burrow Josh Allen Josh Allen so I you know I I I like all of them I'd probably like to do some you know kind of combination of them I guess what I would ask is since we're not in alignment fully on the value of that are there some up here that you feel like you would be more comfortable with a little bit of a lower value on so that we could try to you know kind of value-wise get closer together like I don't know I don't know if some of them you're like more like you know no very firm on a a certain number and others you're like you know and I I haven't obviously looked up any of the numbers but I think that I don't have much room here just the IAL on that you can even justify stickering this at 75 and it being okay same for The Maze I probably have some room off that sticker the last sale was 15K but it was in September of 22 so I probably get closer to 10 on that okay maybe a little room in the Jordan as well the subs aren't great so I can probably get to like 11 on that yeah I'll be a couple and again like I I I could get to your number here it's a matter of like right mixing it up piecing the puzzles and you want to do all Tri or you interested in doing any cash on it I whatever makes sense or if you added cash on top to some other cards I could give you a better you know both ways whatever you prefer to do what do you have the auto grade of 10 yeah the auto does look a little weak for an auto grade of 10 I agree I crossed my fingers and it happened I feel like if you're going to get that don't get that know so I'll tell you what I'm thinking I'm around eight on this with what his Market's done I feel good with that around that price this one is a makes me a a little nervous it's so hard to value that I welcome the uh the opinion it obviously depends on what type of Premium you're going to put on it over like the out of 20s and you know the better patch and everything like that my gut on it was upper 20s that's where I was kind of thinking on it could you get comfortable at 395 on the pair that's not even double the out of 20 with a wor P right um on the mantle the mantle on back pick up I mean the Mantle's a great card the 67 I'm a little nervous around 67 on that um the eye heel is just so good on it that it is it is yeah I was thinking closer to 60 on the Manel and that's lower than where you want to be on that it sounds like probably have to hold it at that yeah it's like a higher end copy for the grade so I'm just I think it has that premium especially trade like if someone offered me 58 cash I would take it right but in trade value I feel like 65 would be would be it I think I'll take the burrow out I'm just not yeah I'm just not sure about that it's just it's beautiful it's it's one out of five too do you see that I mean that is pretty cool but you what do you think it's worth 20s you said I as I said I would feel comfortable the upper 20s what what number 28 you weren't interested in that do 29 29 yeah I think I think it's impossible for you to lose of that Al all right two favorite people how you doing hey good good me and Reeves are two favorite people no yeah all him too all right so here's my offer oh go these three cards yeah for that plus 15,000 in cash so my counter is going to be why does there always have to be a counter David why basketball team stuff like I love I've got I've got crazy dream team stuff I love dream team um obviously he came along right after the Dream Team I got to come by and see the colle sometime yeah you should actually I've got some really I've got some really cool Dream Team stuff cool but this uh this would add to the USA Basketball collection okay so you're offering essentially now these four cards the one of five Joey B midnight National Treasures the Josh Allen gold out of 10 the iconic mantle 52 tops SGC 3 and the Sha USA basketball team card and you want to do it for the curry Plus $177,000 in cash yes all right I feel like that's a fair counter I'm going to do it David let's do it another huge trade look at that that's awesome that's so much cool there you go you you happy over $100,000 to take 45 minutes I think that's a reasonable amount of time some people may say that's a little quick it was faster last time right right that's awesome
