Why We Miss Mainland Portugal So Much!

hey do you miss the mainland no are you sure what up my no I can't say it people don't want to hear me what's up my boys welcome to today's Vlog where we are talking about what is in the title what is in the title things that we miss about the mainland if you are regular viewer on our Vlog you know how much we love living on Madera yeah this is our place but living on an island comes with a price I have Island fever do you no what do you miss about Lisbon I don't think Lara miss anything maybe the beaches he probably misses the [Music] beaches guys is the signal here is there signal here how far does it work number one what do you miss the convenience of living in a big city what convenience engl and supercore you are superficial materialist whoa I don't really miss the beaches at all what I miss sitting at the beaches and drinking that's actually one of the things that reformed alcoholics like like me I never been to AA but what they talk about in AA is euphoric recall which is when you romanticize so much about things associated with alcohol that you get everything of the bad things that would come with it so Ela for example honestly it's not just about drinking you Amia I'm talking about me sorry it's my feelings sorry like a really really long walk along the beach at Costa cabri or something I do miss that but that's actually not the thing that I miss the most for me it's taking the car and then just go anywhere where would you go if you if we lived in Lisbon right now it ever yeah what would you do in ever I would go toim and I would go to the surrounding land and maybe I would go to fiza so food and wine no no and nature the idea that you can just drive to the mountains you can drive to the Sea we can do that here as well but it's just a bigger scale on the mainland M do you remember this place I right behind you you did something very cool is that when I Dr I jumped down was that here that was [Music] here you did it it was so much fun that's my girlfriend L there are many meters down to your right okay me so we're going to do a cinematic clip here where we walk like we appear that we're in love and then we're like oh my God to be honest I don't really miss the mainland because I found Paradise here no seriously we did find Paradise but I think no place is perfect perfect y except me and you yes come true we're out of frame I know there's one thing I miss it's a little silly but I do miss a direct flight to anywhere we rarely have direct flights to where we want to go although this year or last year we actually did go to New York directly from Fel which is pretty cool we can't say we missed the mainland and then we're talking about how we can get away from Mainland no that's true but I I I miss okay let's let's talk about something else then cuz I do miss how much bigger the mainland is than the than the island I mean an island is an island right so there's only so much to do basically what I'm trying to say is that I miss what do you miss the variety actually one of the things that I miss even though that I love the climate here in Mya I miss the blistering hot evenings in um in Lisbon but they're so rare yeah but but they're special my mom said that average people are the most special people and that's why God make made so many what no when I think about the mainland it's you know our good friend Giovani he definitely has a point um when because they lived here um for for two and a half years and there is a form of of isolation here well not a form we are isolated here when we lived in in Lisbon it was so easy to drive 3 hours and go to a completely different place and now we have to take a plane rent a car and then go explore like renting a car is what really grinds my gear because I just want our car I know um I don't want some shitty uh little uh manual gear where I made complaints about me not being able to drive stick which I am Flawless at oops oh it's manual man who do you need help I have such travel fever me too I W lust I want to you know not just drive around Mainland Portugal I want to drive to Spain I want to drive through Spain I want to go to Switzerland heck I I want to drive to Norway and back you just want to go andure I and and that's something that you just cannot do here you know that is true I hope my sister is watching she's not feel the love from Mother Nature our family doesn't watch our videos my sister sees a big tree hug how's the lighting it's is it good it's okay guys we're thinking about changing the channel name to Nature lovers that's not true let us know what is that nonsense you're speaking it's because I think Stay classy has a little bit of a non shalong arrogant connotation I think a lot of people they look at Stay classy and like oh they think they're classy that's definitely not classy look at him he's bald no what are what are you on today I don't know we we we went and had lunch with a friend and I think she put something in the food for your own cuz he's acting weird I I don't know stay nature [Music] loving what are you doing doing my morning massage and my head it's a sculp massage which I do miss about Lisbon actually I do miss my massuse I miss to get a really good massage but honestly you sound like a Brad I do feel like a brad when I say that I I miss a very very specific thing actually and that is walking along tissue River that's one thing that I often times thinks about think about cuz I really love that walk when you walk all the way from the city and then out to um the Exploration Tower I can't say it in Portuguese it's such a difficult word tower no no the the first one yeah exactly is there nothing else you miss about the mainland y I don't I don't know if it was a mistake to make this video because I now we're committed I feel like I don't miss living on the mainland because I don't even know what I want anymore in life oh my God what a depressing that's not depressing that's actually a very positive thing because I'm just so content here okay you know so every time I think about the mainland I'm like yeah it would be nice with a little road trip it would be nice with a getaway staying at a hotel in Lisbon or in Porto or elav but then what then what do we do we go eat and drink which is another thing that I miss but that's what we no is because you have the talking pillow no but it's because what you were saying is actually one thing that I miss I do miss all these new fancy not fancy but just different restaurants no no restaurants in Madera we have some nice restaurants but the variety is not that big but in Lisbon every time we go they opened up a lot of different Korean places Chinese places Vietnamese places Arabic places is that all you care about is it food look at me of course it's only food that I care about I'm fat I love food food is my love language and my safety blanket imagine it's a burger yo and I'm the one who has to clean after all this put it back I think this video became a little silly I think our next video should be more interesting Mia don't be insecure you just said it was a mistake that's just for the dramatic effect
