is a media mystery unlike her elder siblings she grew up far away from her father stayed out of the limelight and had little access to the trump fortune growing up with some of her elder siblings even trying to oust her from her inheritance tiffany is the black sheep not just because her parents were the subject of an affair but because her media presence both supports and opposes trump's political views making it hard to see where she fits into her father's empire tiffany trump is the only child from donald's second marriage to marla maples in a campaign which centered around traditional values it's no wonder tiffany was kept from the spotlight while married to ivana donald began an affair with marla maples which ivana cites as the cause of her divorcing donald months after the divorce marla became pregnant and the couple married soon after trump was not originally excited about this pregnancy in a 2004 interview with howard stern trump claims he is now glad to have tiffany but when maples first announced her pregnancy he was less than thrilled donald and marla were married for four years during which donald was constantly occupied with work as maples recalls she did most of the parenting telling people her father wasn't able to be there with day-to-day skills as a parent he loves his kids there's no doubt but everything was a bit of a negotiation donald divorced marla maples in 1999 after four years of marriage when tiffany was six years old after the split maples chose to remain single so that she could focus on raising her daughter post-divorce tiffany rarely saw her father with the exception of spring breaks the occasional holiday visit and trips to donald's office despite the issue of proximity maples was adamant that tiffany see her father as often as possible and wanted the two to have a relationship she said i just said it's important for her to form her own relationship with him without my input i wanted to create some consistency where she could see him in light of tiffany's estranged relationship to her famous father trump relied on his eldest children to make public appearances during his campaign and not tiffany in fact tiffany and her mother are still a sore spot for the trump family tiffany and her mother represent a mark upon the family's obsession with traditional values and spoil the illusion of a perfect family which the trumps would prefer to maintain the story of trump's affair excited the tabloids for weeks especially since he and ivana had been married for 14 years when trump divorced ivana and remarried his children were upset and wanted nothing to do with his new family although tiffany grew up out of the shadows cast by her father's fame tiffany grew up with a few of the same fineries as her half-siblings including a kindergarten school tuition of more than 30 thousand dollars annual exotic vacations and exclusive tickets to new york fashion week tiffany has had brief stunts as a singer model and even interned for vogue while studying at penn state where she earned a bachelor's degree in sociology before becoming more involved in her father's politics tiffany was an instagram celebrity in her own right tiffany and a few peers including paris hilton's little brother baron hilton make up the snap pack an instagram group of rich kids before trump's presidential candidacy in 2016 her instagram self branding did a full 180 and tiffany left her snap pack behind to flood her feed with photos of the trump family rebranding herself to suit her father's campaign the elder trump siblings are not close with tiffany and have even tried to bump her from the trump inheritance tiffany how about you until 2016 tiffany also had no involvement in trump's political campaigns or his multi-million dollar industries but soon began to speak at his campaign rallies endorsing her father's candidacy tiffany is far less involved than her older sibling ivanka but has still been spotted with the trumps on several occasions including the 2020 republican national convention after tiffany graduated from penn state a school traditionally selected by her family boasting both donald and ivanka as grads she began to spend more time with her father reportedly when tiffany started law school at georgetown law she saw her father almost every weekend a vast change from seeing donald semi annually in her formative years although tiffany does not work for the family business she has been spending far more time with her father and elder siblings tiffany's relationship with her father is complicated to say the least her elder siblings donald jr eric and ivanka all born of donald's first marriage lived with their father tiffany however grew up with her mother marla in new york seeing donald on spring break and visits to his office as a result tiffany had little exposure to her siblings while growing up so they had to warm to the idea of getting to know their younger sister it wasn't always such smooth sailing though reportedly trump's eldest three children even tried to have tiffany removed from any potential inheritance both dawn jr and ivanka begged their father to take tiffany out of the will something which he jokes about frequently saying yeah because every time you have a child it's 20 percent less the situation was quickly swept under the rug but sources close to the family believe tiffany will likely have to fight for any claim to the inheritance and her inheritance situation may be dire in comparison to that of trump's eldest children or even young baron in fact tiffany and ten-year-old baron were the only trump children not selected to be transitioned into a position within trump's business empire tiffany was shy and quiet making it difficult for her to reach out to any of her siblings eventually she began to bond with ivanka who at 12 years tiffany's senior became a role model as ivanka recalls the first time they bonded was over tiffany sheepishly asking ivanka for advice on how to ask their father for money she needed for school ivanka claims she has never treated her father as an atm but tiffany enjoyed far fewer financial privileges than ivanka simply by proximity to their father although ivanka admits she has never been close to tiffany's mother marla she says she adores her little sister as tiffany grew older ivanka became tiffany's guide to all things media sources close to tiffany report that she has been taken under ivanka's wing who gives tiffany advice on politics romance and beauty among other things those who are close to tiffany report that she still seems unsure of herself and where she fits into trump's politics but ivanka is showing her the ropes in comparison to tiffany ivanka is much more polished both in her instagram and in her political appearances which are all carefully tailored to give the elder sister a consistent public image since 2016 tiffany has been more involved with the rest of the trump family but is far less in the mix than her older siblings who are all largely involved in their father's presidential campaign perhaps the biggest reason tiffany was not earmarked for a job within her father's empire is because of her political views which sometimes conflict with her fathers in 2018 tiffany liked an anti-gop post on instagram but tiffany doesn't always rebel against her father in august tiffany delivered a speech at the republican national convention where she accused the press of attempting to silence diverse voices stating in her speech if it does not fit into the narrative that they seek to promote it is either ignored or deemed a lie on that same topic tiffany also took to twitter to call out trump's opponent joe biden for supposedly lying with stances that both support and oppose her father's political agenda it's difficult to determine if she'll ever find common ground with her siblings tiffany trump's future career is a much speculated topic back in 2016 a pre-law school tiffany told abc's george stephanopoulos that she may yet work for her father's empire of course i'm interested i think i'm applying to law school though tiffany graduated from georgetown law in may but has not confirmed if she will be taking the bar exam to become a lawyer nothing is certain though as tiffany is remaining tight-lipped about her career aspirations now that tiffany is more involved with her father's politics it is possible that he has career aspirations in mind for her in 2017 trump told fox news that all of his adult children are going to be in the white house during her studies at georgetown law in washington tiffany reportedly visited trump nearly every week despite being uninvolved with her father before his campaign all of trump's adult children have a position in the trump empire and a place in his political campaigns ivanka serves as trump's senior advisor in the white house and although donald jr does not have a white house position he was very active in trump's first presidential campaign eric and donald jr co-lead the trump organization as its executive vice presidents there is a lot of speculation over whether tiffany will join trump's team of lawyers and become a legal counsel that trump can finally trust tiffany trump black sheep or trump's newest ally in his 2020 campaign it can be hard to rule tiffany out as a support for her father despite her lesser involvement in his campaigns and serious overshadowing by older sister ivanka tiffany doesn't yet have an official role in her father's politics or his businesses but she has become more involved with his career since 2016. it's hard to say what the future holds for trump's elusive youngest daughter but she certainly has a big future ahead of her and
