Why there should always be multiple outcomes 🚀

poke for success but plan for failure many entrepreneurs skip the last part and it's a crucial mistake but how do you plan for failure contingency plans backups pivots I think of my activities as a positive sum game even if I don't hit home with a project there should be multiple alternative outcomes that lead to something positive it can't be a zero-sum game or worse a negative sum game if I have to put a lot of work and commitment into something the chance of scoring an absolute zero has to be as low as it possibly can and this is where many entrepreneurs go wrong to them it's either 10 out of 10 or a 0 out of 10. go big or go home no in-betweens and the reality is it's always super unlikely that it's going to be a 10 out of 10 but if the project at least have a few 5 out of 10 or 3 out of 10 outcomes it's suddenly much less risky to go at it so next time you're planning a new Venture ask yourself is this positive sum game if not don't bother go on to something else instead
