Why The NFL's Youngest Star Keeps Pissing Everyone Off

at just 24 years old Brock P already holds several NFL records destroyed the greatest quarterback of all time and made a Super Bowl all simultaneously pissing off the entirety of sports media I like my quarterbacks to be adults I don't want them to be Frat Boys Brock pie hey you guys want to hit some golf balls pie would respond by winning his NFL debut with his childhood hero in attendance beating Tom Brady the next week and going undefeated in the regular season oh yeah and by the way all this happen happened while he was a rookie but with success comes expectation and they can either make or break you Brock pie was born on December 27th 1999 in Queen Creek Arizona he was the middle child of Shawn and Cary pry who are both athletic in their own right Shawn pry was a minor league relief pitcher for several teams and was even drafted into the MLB on four separate occasions until a UCL tear in his elbow would unfortunately end his career Rock grew up with a sister and her brother who both got their dad's athletic jeans as Brock's brother chuba is currently a quarterback at Nevada and his sister Whitney plays softball at South Eastern University growing up inside an athletic family Brock became insanely competitive and was originally interested in playing baseball until we fell in love with the energy of football from watching the 2008 Florida Gators did did Brock play other sports growing up or was it always just football no he played baseball and he was a really good baseball player he was a short stop and he was a pitcher and um he loved it uh but just had a passion uh for football his dad Shawn was originally from Florida and was a massive Miami Dolphins fan so Brock grew up watching a lot of Dan Marino and then later Tim tibo so naturally all Brock wanted to do was play quarterback he was set on this dream from the age of five and whenever he was asked what he wanted to be when he grew up he never shied away from quarterback you know you got kids who go to High school and what are you going to be when you grow up you know pharmacist or doctor or whatever Brock what are you going to be at five football player Junior High Brock what you going to be you got a backup plan I'm going to be a football player mom Brock would end up attending Perry High School in Gilbert Arizona to play you guessed it quarterback he would end up becoming the starting Varsity quarterback by a sophomore year of high school but he would struggle early on as he threw for eight touchdowns and 11 interceptions at the end of his sophomore year his coach asked him if he wanted to play another position and of course pie responded with quarterback pie would remain the starter and he proved that he could play the position as he threw for 3,333 yards and scored 48 total touchdowns his junior year and 4,45 yards and 67 total touchdowns in his senior year and due to the absolute monster of his senior year he had he was awarded the Gatorade Arizona high school player of the year for his performance Hy would received attention from across the country and even got an offer from Alabama and Nick sain but after a senior season while prie was out playing paintball and bonding with his teammates he would puncture his throwing hand in a cactus and would be forced to miss Spring football which would limit the total amount of offers he would receive coming out of college prie received offers from 14 different schools with the biggest names being Alabama Texas A&M organ State and Iowa State and he was originally looking towards signing with Alabama and joining a loow quarterback room that would eventually feature Tua M Jones and Bryce young but when Brock went to visit Alabama he learned that Nick Sabin saw things in a different matter Sabin said quote you're below average in height your arm strength is whatever your accuracy is average and as soon as he mentioned the accuracy Brock knew right away this guy doesn't know me Brock would let this get to him by affecting his college decision by saying quote I want to go somewhere to kick Alabama's ass he would eventually commit to Iowa and become the third string quarterback for the Cyclones after an injury to the starter and poor performance from the backup pry was told that he would come into the game at some point against number 25 Oklahoma State and well he went off Brock pry went off throwing for four touchdowns and completing 78% of his passes this would secure pery the starting job and the Cyclones would win six more games and become bow eligible with an 8 and3 record with p's recent string of Stellar performances X expectations would become Sky High for the kid from Arizona and going into a sophomore season he would let it get to him while he posted career numbers during his second year the Cyclone's overall record was only 7even and six and as the quarterback you're the one who takes all the blame for the losses and pry would begin to receive a ton of Doubt on whether he could win when it matters and all this doubt would get to Brock as py said quote going into my junior year with all that hype the human part of me listened to it I knew it wasn't the best but when you're on these draft boards and you're talked about being the best quarterback in school history I got caught up in what I didn't want to focus on his dad told him to just focus on being himself and controlling what you can control and party would do just that Brock would finish his junior year with a respectable 2,750 passing yards and 19 touchdowns and he would lead the 93 Iowa State Cyclones to their best record in school history and to the PlayStation Fiesta bulll during New Year 6 where pry would win the game game 34 to 17 and take home the offensive MVP title after an excellent finish to his junior year Brock felt the pressure once again as his senior season would be another bump in the road the Cyclones once again finish the season at 7 and six and Brock struggled to win in the big games this struggle would cause his draft stock to plummet as one NFL scout would say quote Brock is sought off not a very good athlete limited arm both in strength and throw repertoire and and at the NFL combine Brock proved that Scout right as he tested poorly in the Speed and Agility drills only running of 4.81 40 yard dash this would cause py to plummet so far that he would end up becoming the last pick in the draft and it was picked up by the San Francisco 49ers with the 262nd pick in the 2022 NFL draft Brock had achieved his dream of being a professional quarterback but it left the sour taste in his mouth because he knew that he had way more potential just like you have the potential to not miss another upload by subscribing and turning on the Bell anyways let's get back to the story so C would be San Francisco's thirdd string quarterback and he would come into a team that was loaded with offensive Talent such as Debo Samuel George KD Trent Williams and Brandon IU and the ners would load the roster even more with the eventual trade for Christian mcaffrey after starter Tre Lance went down with an injury Jimmy garoppo would be the starting quarterback but when he went down with an injury Brock C would get his first start against his dad's favorite team in the Miami Dolphins with one of his childhood Heroes and Dan Marino in attendance head coach Kyle Shanahan knew that he had to go easy in the Young quarterback to start things off so that's where the Niners would call plays that game that would solely rely on pretty strengths such as throwing out of the pistol Brock would end up winning his debut 33- 17 and this would be where the hate would begin as the NFL world was incredibly conflicted on whether the 4 ERS last win was because of Brock py or the talent around him that that was impressive like I I I give a lot a lot of credit to Brock P for preparing himself to be able to come in and do that against the defense that's that's pretty good however in his first official start against the greatest quarterback of all time in Tom Brady Brock would light the NFL media on fire with a magical 185 yard and three touchdown performance including this special moment of his dad realizing his son's NFL dreams coming true Hy became the first quarterback to beat Tom Brady in his debut and the winning wouldn't stop there as he took down the commanders Raiders Cardinals and the Seahawks on Thursday night and he gained his special nickname after his performance big confidence Brock it's a family show and with that winning streak Brock had achieved something unprecedented becoming the first quarterback to win his first six games and throw at least two touchdowns in each and all the media could talk about is how far this magical run could go is it possible that by the end of February you'll be talking about Joe Montana Steve Young and Brock pie no when the playoffs came around Brock played like he had been in the league for 10 years absolutely dicing up the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card rounds for 332 yards and four total touchdowns and then he did it again to Dallas in the divisional as he led the 49ers to a 19 to 12 win and all everyone could talk about is this the year where we can see a rookie quarterback make the Super Bowl cuz I'll tell you what folks he's going to be the starter next year if this guy makes it to the Super Bowl it's going to be on and cracking every single person in his family get ready you're about to be famous in the NFC Championship Brock would face jayen Herz in the Philadelphia Eagles these two quarterbacks have previously faced each other in college with hers beating pry 42 to 41 in a classic so it seemed like this was the perfect rematch and the game started like it would be another Aller and [Music] then Brock would tear his UCL in his throwing arm the same injury that ended his dad's promising baseball career and just like that the 49ers season was over in a 31 to7 blowout and Brock's confidence in himself was starting to sink lower and lower he would end up turning to his dad for advice since he had the exact same injury and he was a massive on Brock's healing process but a lot of people question if he would ever be the same again so Brock would Channel his inner Jordan and take it personally as to start the 2023 season he was out with the sole goal of avenging the defeat in the NFC Championship as he led the 49ers to a 5-0 start headlined by a 42-10 four touchdown pass destruction of Dallas and once again he left the NFL media speechless and you look at his team I believe he has the best team in football currently and he happens to be the quarterback hey Brock quick question for you just wondering um are you planning on losing a game ever not really however he would finally lose a regular season game against Cleveland's really good defense and of course the media had to jump on him and questioned whether he could beat a good team and the voices got even louder and louder as he lost his next two starts we we can forget the MVP campaign for Brock it was nice while it lasted the 49ers were now 5 and three and the critics were licking their chops because Brock just put up three subpar performances but once again Brock channeled his dad's advice from when he was in college and that's to just focus on being Brock and that's what he did as he rattled the ners back into title contention with six straight wins brck was playing out of his mind and was even in the MVP conversation at one point but nobody believed that he could actually win the reward because of the count he had around him BR par like but Brock let's they're not winning because of him he's not turning the ball over he's managing the game the 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is notorious for being one of the best play callers in the entire league running a quarterback friendly system and the headline that was brought up for every pry win was that he wouldn't succeed without Kyle's help and running back Christian mcaffrey having a ridiculous season the next game coming up in Prime Time against the the afc's best team in the Baltimore Ravens Brock had the chance to finally shut up the critics once and for all except he didn't Brock would throw for four interceptions without a touchdown and the Ravens monstrous defense proved too much for pery and he got exposed under the national Spotlight after the game the media got more toxic than Chernobyl as the doubts about his abilities were being spread everywhere and Ro pry well big dog you got to go I give you even more than I give you Brock pie right now well I don't think Brock perie is going to win the 20123 NFL MVP cie would bounce back with the win against the commanders and would finish the season at 31 touchdowns and a team record 4,280 passing yards beating 49er Hall of Famers Steve Young and Joe Montana and he would make the Pro Bowl and finish fourth in MVP voting the 2023 NF playoffs were right around the corner and everyone had their eyes on party in the ners but this time Brock was ready to show the world to never count him out he would defeat greenbait in the divisional and then Detroit in the NFC Championship Game and would become the lowest drafted quarterback to ever win a conference title and make a Super Bowl the final challenge would come against the man very few have been able to defeat and that's Patrick momes and his Kansas City Chiefs the upcoming Big Game felt like a true David versus Goliath matchup and as the Super Bowl kicked off it was an absolute dog fight that would end up going to overtime but unfortunately Brock got defeated by momes as the Chiefs clinched backto back titles and once again her's haters made themselves incredibly loud Patrick Mahomes is a championship quarterback and maybe that's what the 49ers are missing with pery now going into his third season expectations are higher than ever because the 49ers absolutely need to cash in and win a title this year since a lot of their star Talent are due massive paydays and they won't be able to afford everyone I expect the media to become even more
