Let’s be real here for a moment.
These you tubers are the first to jump on Tesla vehicles because anything ‘new’ from Tesla gets views.
When they’re making videos on these cars they’re not only getting paid... they’re able to write off the car on taxes as a business expense.
But whatever. I like MKBHD.
I never go off-road anyway, one motor is plenty.
When the truck rolled out in the reveal, I was shocked. I couldn't believe that ugly looking thing was being passed off as a truck. I honestly though it was a decoy. Maybe just a distraction and then have it run over by the actual truck.
When it became clear it was the actual truck, I was grossed out. Then after the sledge hammer demo it made it even more ridiculous I realised this thing was really going to be on the streets. Then the glass breaking clearly through Elon off as he stumbled through the rest of the demo. It was a bust in my book.
Then something strange happened. For the next few days the memes and the hate kept the thing fresh in my mind and the more I saw it the more I started to like it. It's becoming a thing I really want to see on the road. It's a movie prop truck and it will demand attention no matter what. And now that I find out there is a Mat black finish, this thing will be legendary on the road. A stealth bomber vehicle that is silent. Add the torque and range and all the tech...
I might buy this.
There’s very little cost for him to buy one. All he needs to do is make 3-5 videos about it and it’ll be paid for. That and the fact that he can probably write the most of the purchase off as a business expense make his reasons unrelatable to most.
As this is probably his 3rd video about the truck it’s probably already paid for.
Because he reviews tech and in the end the revenue he generates from views will pay for the truck.

I like this, he nailed it by saying an f150 buyer will always be an f150 buyer. Tesla had to be different.
