WHY DOES NO ONE TAME the MAGICAL LIOPLEURODON ? Ark Survival Ascended Guide Thoughts & Tips!! ASA

leopluradon the least tame creature on Ark but why I'm Drax and I'm here to tell you the exact reasons so let's start at the beginning with taming and most people in Arc don't even know you can actually tame these things I didn't for a very long time I know for a fact every time that I saw one of these I just attacked it with my water mount and it either done a disappearing act or it died I feel like I see them more on ascended than I did on the old of Old game whilst traveling through the waters you just need to keep an eye out for the shiny effect that they have around them and you should be able to spot them still as is always the case in arc when you're actually looking for something they can prove a bit elusive however when you do see1 the taming part itself is rather a simple one but also part of the issue as to why people don't tame these because if you are on a water mount and approach these they will attack you and that's probably why I always end up killing them but anyway for the tame to start you may need to clear the area first if there are too many other creatures and you need to make sure not to bite the leop then get your tame out of Agro range you probably need something that swims faster than the leopluradon itself when diag simply Dismount a good distance away and make sure to have some giant bee honey in your last Quick bar slot you'll need this for the tame then you can just swim up to it and feed it some and that should be it one and done taming once again I've been saying this a lot lately but check out my giant bee honey guard if you need some like I say one feed and it should be tamed and now you will only have 30 minutes before it disappears another reason why I suspect this tame is not a popular one yes unlike most tames in Arc this one is a temporary tame why well um because it grants you a 6-hour shiny skin buff every time you ride it during those 30 minutes I won't go into stats uh melee Etc because it doesn't really matter This was meant to be one of the most fousome predators of its time but all those stats don't really matter because this is not a tame you'll be using for anything other than that shiny buff the team itself will be gone faster than probably took you to find one then for the buff info some people say it gives you 20% better loot some websites or people even say 50% better loot I've tested it and I've got to say that is an absolute load of shininess the buff is actually a roll on loot when you access a container so when running a cave or accessing a supply drop me and a tribe member in this case my sister who helped me with the footage for the video both access the drop she would go first without the shiny boost and see if there was anything good inside and then screenshot it and then I would go up to the drop to see if what was in there had improved but every time I looked it was a different item and most of the time to make the whole shiny boost Thing feel a bit shiny it was a worse item would have been better off going with the loot she got without the Boost in nearly every drop or crate so how can you use this to maybe get a better item it would always require two people the first person checks without the Boost if they like what they see they pull the items out and then leave anything behind which they don't want then as before the shiny boosted player maybe yourself would look into the drop at which time it should get this flashy Aura around it and the item should be rerolled so you maybe can get some better items too just make sure that when the first person goes into the drop or Loot Crate inventory there is no Aura around it as it seems to apply the rero Boost when you are standing close by so you may have to back away a bit when they first access it so that is the shiny skin boost and the General application of it applying to supply drops underwater loot crates and loot crates in caves we've tested them all and it's all not that great in my opinion if it were me as an arc developer especially thinking of those solo players running around taming and hitting caves a straight 20% boost on drops and blueprints would have been the better option here as from my testing you need two players and in most cases my rero with a boosts were worse so that in general sums up loot crates and supply drops I also want to mention fishing loot as I've seen some questions about whether it affects the quality of blueprints that you get whilst fishing on some of the taming websites well this would have been great if it did affect the quality of blueprints while fishing but with roughly the same level of fish CT and the same level Rod mine was actually 5% more effective and I had the Boost but still here the ascendant level blueprints that my sister got while she was fishing had more damage on them as standard fishing just felt a little bit random within a certain area you know you're going to get ascendant blueprints with over 300% rods um not really the best ones but at a random sort of level then further to that and I want to say maybe here and I can't really confirm this either but it did seem as if I might be getting more Blueprints and you can kind of see that if I show some screenshots but even if this were the case that isn't what you look for in art you don't really look for uh quantity you want the best items and you want the best blueprints so even if it does affect quantity or quality it isn't good enough to make me want to get the Boost every time it doesn't show enough so in conclusion why does no one tame the magical Leo plon why are they the least tamed creature number one they are kind of rare number two they require you to be far away from your water tame when taming number three they disappear after 30 minutes and number four the Boost the only real reason for taming them kind of sucks and on that note we will end the video there hopefully it's at the very least being
