if we couldn't cancel James Charles after admitting he sent nudes to miners we're not canceling anything else in the beauty industry like girl don't force the fart cuz it's probably [ __ ] can I say something controversial don't piss me off I'm a little excited no you're not General Mills am I a Nikki fan General Mills I'm going to punch you back to you Becky in the studio o owie OE owie owie o I think she's [Music] well well girl just two lot lizards girl just a lot lizard and you just found out what that was today girl girl I literally just found out what a lot lizard was last night I sent you that video I had no idea that cracked me up because you found it funny before you knew what a lot lizard was and now that you know know what it is girl I'm gagged and I love that I love that bre died yeah we would tell you what a lot lizard is but we don't we can't um you can Google it on your own free time and we didn't tell you to do so okay so let's we should probably tell them why we're why they're watching us on uh Zumi um yeah we should address the elephant in the room while we're in two different locations for the first time yes not my open Suitcase behind me well there you go I I just got back from Chicago oh my God not the musical not the musical I did a I did a three-day stint in Chicago the musical yeah um yeah I just went to Chicago for something with Ulta and I came back and we were like trying to do while we were we're behind is the moral of the story so this is going to be like we don't have time to do it in person and this is going to be the easiest thing to edit so we're giving you a little zoomi episode Zoomies Casey just got home from work say hi you're so wet it's disgusting that's what the people see and that's what Kevin sees hello yeah we're doing it this hi hi I missed you I missed you I've been gone for 3 days this the first time I'm seeing them we have uh is Charlotte Tilbury cancelled that's what we're talking about that's the what we'll we'll tell the people and then a Rolling Stones article came out of basically the query cast has been very turbulent for a very long time but a rolling stone expose just came out uh basically revealing with multiple sources who work on the show and have worked with him at person that Jonathan vaness is like a nightmare I heard about that yeah and then a a little purchase or pass to see you great to see you great to see you I'm dead great to see you great to see you peace and blessings peace and blessings peace be with you oh that's what they say not peace and blessings whatever so basically what happened with the Charlotte Tilbury thing Charlotte Tilbury dropped Bella GG Bella right Bella I am Bella Hadid yes wa is it Bella who's the older one is Gigi so Bella the second one okay the younger sister Bella Hadid so they dropped her and there was immediately all of this speculate like ended their contract with her and there was like immediately all this speculation about basically that it was because bah Hadid who I believe is Palestinian came out in support of Palestine and like is calling for a ceasefire and that is why Charlotte Tilbury dropped her however it's so interesting The more I've gone down the rabbit hole of this is like there's no statement so far from Charlotte Tilbury like have not uh confirmed or denied and I don't even think Bella Hadid has either and what has come out if I'm not mistaken may be a statement from and again I don't know if it was from Charlotte Etc but long story short it's that the contract was up and it wasn't renewed because Bella Hadid which yay for all of us is planning on coming out with her own line so it's a conflict of interest so that's why they ended up letting her go but the point of it being the way people think it's one thing for a reason and jump on like Charlotte that poor intern at Charlotte Tilbury has been deleting comments their finger is is in a cast deleting those comments of everyone being like boycott Charlotte whether it's true or not which again I'm not somebody to like believe something or say you're right you're wrong based on my opinion until it comes out of the horse's mouth is like the way people jump on something based on a speculation versus holding people accountable who are actually doing misdeeds is mind-blowing to me we talked about this with Britney brosi why do we hold Charlotte Tilbury accountable more based on a rumor which we should hold Charlotte Tilbury accountable if she's if she does something shitty but why are we holding Charlotte Tilbury more accountable based on a rumor that has not been confirmed more than we are the United States Administration that is actually doing something shitty right and I think the part that baffles me too is that I don't understand if it's also based on a rumor we don't know if this is the actual reason why she was being dropped from the campaigns and stuff so why are we even who is putting fuel on this fire of this is why she was let go yeah until I hear from Charlotte Tilbury or like the Press team for Charlotte saying like yeah this is like yeah that's true this is why we let her go then so be it then that's when we can have that discussion and then we can weigh in because they said it first that's when we go in the Instagram comments and just say hey here's my opinion you're putting this out on the internet but since it wasn't put out on the internet Mama what are we doing that's what I mean it's like there's more outrage over a rumor than there is the people who are actually doing it and it's like an INT and it's so interesting to me because it's like when something like this breaks or comes out or the rumor starts it's like I have to see Tik Tok after Tik Tock after Tik Tock of people saying this is why Charlotte Tilbury drop bahed when you don't know you don't care just firing people up about it and then instead of people going to Charlotte tilbury's page and saying tell us why you got rid of Bella Hadid but instead it's we hate you boycott you I hope you die and it's like then you have the administration the United States Administration you have Joe Biden and kamla Harris Etc posting on their Instagram that they're sending Aid to Palestinians after they funded the bombs that are killing the Palestinians if we channeled as a society the outrage we have to hear bro Britney Broski's stance and Charlotte Tilbury stance not that we shouldn't hear their stance but as aggressive as everyone was being online is my point if 1% of that energy was channeled into demanding responses from the people who can actually make a difference the country would be in a much better place and that's always what baffles me yeah it's insane I think it's the baffling thing too that with now Charlotte Tilbury and her name and likeness and her brand being drawn it's not just Charlotte it's Charlotte as a brand and Charlotte the name is being cancelled um it's amazing to me that a brand like Charlotte Tilbury who everyone is when they sweat it's the Flawless filter when they bleed it's the blush it's you know and it's amazing to me that people are so quick to turn on Brands based on a rumor nothing has even been set in stone and then this now all of a sudden let's say it is true right yes boycott boycot cot boycott but there's still going to be millions of people that will still go to the brand go to Sephora buy the brand because they like the brand exactly or if it's not true people millions of people still buy the brand no matter what do what they want it's just the makeup I like the makeup I don't like her exactly it's that conversation cuz I'm like then what's the because I always ask myself when something in my life now happens at this point I always ask myself and say what's the end game what do I want out of this because why are we doing anything on this Earth because other than spinning around what are we doing I have to do something with a purpose at this point and if I'm going to make an accusation if I'm going to make an if I could spin I would right now um yeah if I am G to make an accusation like that I have to ask myself what is the endgame because in my head if there is no concrete evidence I'm not making any I'm not pointing fingers at anybody but even if something is true and I have to say I'm not doing this for this reason then okay next step I'm doing this as almost like an activism thing but why is cancelling makeup brands such like a Hot Topic discussion drum roll since Jeffree Star cancel culture with makeup brands specifically has been like this like it's it gets people going trying to cancel and take down yeah they want to see going out of business sale with these makeup brands and then they would buy it and you know the irony is they've never gone out of business no so that's what that's my point is they've never gone out of business so all of these people that love that concept of cancelling Beauty creators and Beauty if we couldn't cancel James Charles after admitting he sent nudes to miners we're not canceling anything else in the beauty industry you all like and whether you watch him or not if you don't good for you but my point is is that cancellation in the world of beauty you can still speak up about who you do and do not support but you should not care more about that than the politics and the economy and things that are actually debilitating us as Citizens that's what kills me I always think too I'm like What's the endgame if it ends up being true that that's why Charlotte Tilbury did do that you don't need to give you and I a reason to by Charlotte Tilbury we we we have our uh which proves that this is not a Charlotte Tilbury apology podcast because we [ __ ] roast her every week I always think to myself I'm like if it ends up being true you can have that personal belief but then what is the end game you can relate it to did you hear what happened with General Mills no I want to say it was the CEO of General Mills he basically made a comment about the US economy and people saying like they can't afford to buy groceries and like eat feed their family dinner he came out and said uh well if you can't afford to buy groceries or you can't afford to eat dinner uh eat Frosted Flakes people justifiably are infuriated and now there's like it's starting to create a waterfall effect of a boycott of General Mills that is something that could have actual impact because it's a food General Mills am I a Nicki fan General Mills punch you like General Mills has so much greater of an impact on the US economy than Charlotte Tilbury like if Charlotte Tilbury went out of business it would be a [ __ ] raindrop in the ocean no one would care the world would turn if General Mills like Bud Light which we had this conversation the other day um actually had maybe an impact to to their stock and the whole point of the boycott basically is is that people who are calling for the boycott and economists online have been tracking the inflation of General Mills products over the past like five years and the point of the boycott is like boycotting all General Mills products until they start lowering their prices down to a justifiable level for the state of the economy because inflation is rising higher than the cost of living Etc so on and so forth that is something that okay if that successfully happens to General Mills other major conglomerates which which let's be real there's we do even though Everyone likes to pretend America is this lovely capitalist democracy there still is a monopoly there's probably 10 umbrella companies that own all the food all the [ __ ] medicine all the everything if it did make a difference for General Mills that could affect the economy where it would scare other massive Brands like proor and gamble Etc breaking news the Kellog's boycott is working as the food beverage company is having to slash prices due to lack of sales let me tell yall something I cannot remember the last time I saw name brand cereal be 99 Cents I don't even know if I've ever seen it for 99 cents but as these people are pointing out in the comment section their products could have been cheaper all along if it weren't for corporate greed because when does it ever make sense to pay more than5 or $6 dollar for a box of cereal and as the boycott gains traction the stock price is steadily going down many are choosing to buy storebrand Alternatives instead but I will say this for my Walmart shoppers in particular they use kellogs to make some of their Great Value brand cereals so you might want to be mindful of that if you do plan to participate in this boycott the boycott era that we're in right now needs to be studied because consumers are showing these multi-billion dollar corporations that they are not playing around [ __ ] Charlotte Tilbury channel that energy we're giving her too much credit girl like that's what it it just always frustrates me and it's not that I'm saying anyone should not be held accountable for doing or saying something awful but they love especially the United States government everybody these conglomerates these whatever that are the ones [ __ ] us they love when we fight amongst each other and my point is is that Charlotte Tilbury is not big enough to not be considered just one of us there will be no Financial or economic impact or political impact to Charlotte Tilbury going out of business yeah and it's like you could be in her comment section saying why did you let Bella Hadid go but to assume that it's true and ravenously try to cancel this brand because the problem with that is is then when someone does something actually horrible I.E James Charles cancellation carries no weight anymore nobody cares about it because how many people have we cancelled that ended up getting exonerated so there's no weight behind it anymore well and and basically even then with people that do get cancelled it's always James Charles wants to be uncancelled like this isn't like a badge this isn't The Scarlet Letter that we're putting on you and I can unstitch it from your coat this is something that like you committed a crime and this is where I think cancel culture yes should he be cancelled 100% but also he should have been arrested he should have beeny any accountability any accountability anything and it's just amazing and then he comes out with a beauty brand and then all wants to be uncancelled and I'm like what the [ __ ] are we even doing at I'm sure other people from prison would love to be released or maybe not even be there in the first place yeah just like him oh he doesn't want to go or he's a celebrity and yeah like Stewart had to do it yeah Mama and and like honestly like it baffles me that like he wasn't I was convinced he was going to get arrested where I'm like that's a crime where Charlotte Tilbury is not committing a crime this is something like I know your political opinions and opinions about what is happening and you could be on either side of this but it's not against the law and to be an [ __ ] to be like exactly so I'm like but with like even with James Charles and other people that have actually committed crimes that should be canceled that's where cancel culture bothers me cuz I'm like yeah depending on yeah what you're saying cuz it holds no weight when somebody actually is being canceled then I'm like girl well then how are we going to say these people are both just canceled almost like this one umbrella term but I'm like they've done two different things here I know they there needs to be two different outcomes so girl I know done I know that's why when when I see people yeah talking about cancel this or this Brand's over or whatever I when I'm Instagram I can't tell you how many times I want to comment but I can't with the blue check mark because I'm not in the mood to fight with people I always just want to comment and be like they'll be fine they're gonna be fine because I always say if James Charles is fine they'll be fine because set the standard but everybody that's in the beauty community that has been cancelled they're all back they're all back they're all doing relatively fine yes they're all making money they're all making figures still who cares so what the [ __ ] it's insane girl okay so we're talking about next we kind of talked about it very briefly I don't even know how long ago how many episodes ago this was but it is a whole expose if you will came out about queery and like how it's crumbling but Rolling Stones just published this we'll like link it in the bio if you want to read the article the beginning of it is like detailing the history of query how they rebooted it blah blah blah but then the interesting pieces that I picked out from it it says the Friendship of the Fab Five convey that their attempts to connect on personal levels with the hero which is basically the guest on the show the person they're making over is a crucial part of the show's impact the show has shown that we're able to talk to one another and have these dialogues even if we're on different sides of the equation my queer friends aren't necessarily lining up to watch it but it is a show for the southern mom with a gay kid who is kind of on the fence of whether to accept him that would most likely watch the show and be affected by it so that being said I guess you could say the kind of um explosive aspect of the article not only before this we knew Bobby who is the interior designer like left the show which they gave more kind of light on that situation as query got bigger the quintet grew increasingly competitive over screen time or who had the biggest sound bites production sources say as each jocky to be the show's biggest star still it was clear that the hair stylist Jonathan vaness was the breakout personality and it was funny cuz when you and I talked about this forever ago there was that Tik Tok it was a guy who made a Tik Tok who was friends with someone who dated one of the guys and basically it was alluding that it was kuramo that he was the worst one to work with and he was the whatever so now it says however this brought up other issues on the set the queery production sources three sources who worked on the show say that working with Jonathan vaness was terrible to work with using words like monster Nightmare and demeaning to describe them three people labeled Jonathan vess's Behavior as emotionally abusive and having rage issues the other seven sources said that the star would lash out at crew members and people who work closely with vaness this is speaking about Jonathan vaness there's a real emotion and fear around them when they get angry it's almost like a cartoon where it oozes out of them one source says that works with Van explains it's intense and scary Doran filming one production Source estimated that vaness would explode at least once a week he was a yeller they said vaness did not reply to multiple obviously they reached out for comments so there's that and then the last point was that the reason Bobby left the show was because the other four minus Jonathan were kind of saying the show took a big dip after Co they're not really that close they're miserable working together let's not renew our contracts for season 8 and N everybody said yes Bobby turned down the contract like they planned and the other four renewed their contract so they they like bait and switched him so Bobby was like okay which Bobby will be fine because I think Bobby was like one of the nicer ones and honestly did all the work anyway so they're BR basically for season 8 and N they're bringing which I don't know the name of the new cast member they're they replaced Bobby with another interior designer so that's all the um drama and KL that happened so so and my initial thought and there was a part in the article that's kind of stuck out to me and I've always thought this about shows like this where you take five people and there was the whole audition process quite literally was very American Idol they were all flown out you had to audition for this and it's Simon Cowell putting together One Direction you're taking five people who don't know each other I know and then expecting them to have this beautiful dynamic you need to have these people find people that already have a dynamic put them on a show and then take that where it goes because I always feel like with shows like that and I I can almost like feel the awkward tension in the room when you know somebody doesn't like the other person or majority of the people don't like this person that they have to work with and it's odd to me it's even like um what's that show with Eureka and where they do the makeover we're here said this is us I was like no that's not it no and so we're here too where you're taking personalities yes do they know each other probably do they know each other outside of work do they hang out do they have a good rapport we don't know but you're putting people in the same room working all the time countless days hours and hours and hours a day things are bound to happen when people don't have a natural sense of like chemistry together so none of this shocks me in a way because you it's Simon cowl like I said on X Factor taking five people and putting together a boy band Let It Go absolutely stop trying to put these boy bands together and make it work stop trying to force like girl don't force the fart cuz it's probably [ __ ] yes for me what aggravates me about this the other aspect is like look at the original cast of query we're going back in the 2000s like I remember I'm old enough to remember that being on TV at the time that was so groundbreaking because it was like in the early 2000s it was like my family used to watch queery and to see my parents watching queery in like 2002 and being entertained by them and respecting them me as a closeted gay kid at the time I was probably 10 was like that meant the world and I think the difference is it's a matter of respecting the opportunity and the gravity of what you're representing and I think that's why this and all of them or whoever the pro this the problem actually is is so aggravating to me because it's like [ __ ] I know you who have made Millions off of being on this show and the success and you've all tried to launch your other brands and your restaurants and your whatever don't face the plight of other lgbtq people in the United States but like it's still a problem and the original cast of query had the ability to say like this is such a fine line of what we're doing this is so important to show that southern mom who may be on the fence about her kid being gay that we are these people we are normal people we are loving people They Carried themselves with a certain amount of Gravitas that warranted that and I always got the vibe like two seasons in to query that there was these elements of the minute they could break off and start to do something else they did like before they were even established as a unit like also in this article and people's takes on this online it's so telling to me that everyone is so easily saying we'll just like replace the whole cast like we don't care about them that speaks volumes that after eight seasons or seven seasons we don't care enough about their dynamic as a fivesome that were just like yeah whatever okay replace him where if you know Samantha Jones didn't come back for sex in the city and people were lighting buildings on fire because of their Dynamic like that shows the difference well and that it I think that goes perfectly even what I said before that they there is no Dynamic and it's the fact that one person can step out and like you're saying it's so easily we want everybody to be replaced we want a whole new cast we will all knew this there is no oh we want to see the show go on with these people cuz we still love them sorry to that person but let's continue the show with these people and the fact that you want them all replaced girl the writing's on the wall there was no Dynamic you were handpicked from an audition process out of like 40 plus people I think it was then those people that auditioned are already on girl they're on stage left waiting to be walked in like they're not totally they're not sweating because they already know that many people would audition to be on a show like this I would love to be on a show like that and that's it's just horrible that like if jvn is really a monster to work with and all of that you know that's sad because it's like oh it's like that person that other people might look up to him or whatever be like oh my kid is kind of like you know Jonathan he wants to be a hair stylist it's like oh God is my kid going to turn out to be like this going to be like that I don't want my kid to be like this yeah like so then I'm like well girl now what that's what I mean about the respecting the opportunity aspect of it and it's like it's not coming from a place of like you know queer people should be nine times more grateful for their opportunities than other people because that's also [ __ ] up but it's like understand like that you're still the opportunity and voice you have being on this [ __ ] show that people like you and I would chop an arm off to be on and it's like look at what you have the impact to do and the mind like we're this goes hand inand with the Charlotte Tilbury conversation you have an opportunity to to actually make a difference and your ego is that big that it's drowning this entire franchise and people's perception and taste of this show like what planet are you on how selfish are you that that's what you're prioritizing over a show like this this isn't any old rink eating [ __ ] this isn't selling Sunset like this is like this isn't house like this isn't Housewives of Beverly Hills like this is queery where like we're saying this is people people can watch the show and literally finish it thinking an entire minority group of people deserve to live and have rights yeah and you care more about being a [ __ ] Diva and what your next opportunity and what your next gig is yeah because they're not they're not concerned about that that proves that this show is not about what the show's message is about which shame on you then you shouldn't even be on this show um it's all about where the payche is going to come from and I I think that's sick and you know honestly if jvn does turn out to be a monster and all of this is true again speculating are you getting what you deserve that your parent company for your hair care brand is filing for bankruptcy and is going out of business and you're totally in danger of that it's like well you get what you deserve this is what you want and like and you know what aggravating to me about it and it's so funny cuz this goes it back to the conversation of like I just feel like this is very different than the Charlotte bhid situation because it's quite literally coming from the mouths of people that have worked with him and people that work on the queery show is again the concept of like a lack of accountability because you know what mama like I said like like pretend I'm typing it on Instagram he's going to be [ __ ] fine because even with the his jvn brand he just I'm almost positive he [ __ ] sold it bankrupt brand a a m y RIS has sold jvn hair the line created in partnership with queer ey Creator Jonathan vaness at auction brand assets for the luxury hairline have been sold to win song Global for $11.25 million according to the court who knows how much Jonathan's getting from that because that's honestly but for a brand to even sell for 1.2 that's nothing that's not that much girl I mean there was another the brand I think it was Dennis gross and just sold for like 582 million so if that doesn't say anything about the like the Integrity of your brand and granted it was still a very new brand like they were very small most of it is just on an endcap so it was really growing but had a lot of potential but it's like even at that on that side of the coin I'm like do does jvn himself even believe in this brand or was this just another like cash grab exactly and who knows and that's a Thing If Jonathan isn't like is or isn't involved in the brand anymore this is just the company that owns it selling it to another company to own it but Jonathan may still be CEO Etc so we may still be whatever but yeah it was just like so surprising to me the whole like Queer Eye of it all it's just like fascinating that that you would take this kind of an opportunity of being on that show that holds so much weight and has the power to make such a difference again we don't care about the things that actually can make a difference and to just muck it all up and ruin its reput and again and maybe this is why I'm a schmuck maybe this is why like I just you know am the way I am but even if I was on that show the way my brain works is like Not only would I be thinking of it in the sense of everything I just said about the opportunity the the weight the change it makes but you're also affecting the reputation of the first [ __ ] five who they were the [ __ ] brave ones they were the ones that put their asses on the [ __ ] line who could have it could have gone so South and they could have had such a different trajectory yeah and you're going to potentially harm the entire Legacy of queery because you need to be either a diva or your ego is that [ __ ] big it's just infuriating to me I'm so issues with the original cast not getting along at times but it never I don't know there was never in not enough for them to be unprofessional yeah and that's the part that I think well because they had more dignity in class where now it's like at the end of the day when they the cameras go off they're just concerned about of how they looked not as collective of a group of like how did that go how did that go for me and it's very selfish there's no dignity there's no [ __ ] class and I feel like a lot of these you know these people it's unfortunate because I do feel like again it's the side hustle of like okay but this is done now what am I doing over here so I can still be relevant more than the other four absolutely absolutely then you're not you're not even concerned anymore about what the show is truly about no and that honestly you shouldn't even be on the show you should be elsewhere go do that other project you want to do let somebody fill your shoes and actually care I know exactly if you think you're Selen Dion then fine [ __ ] leave go be go go do your other project that's so successful and and let other people yeah and let other people step in who are going to Value what that show can do totally and we're back with purchase or pass okay so um upo we have the Ilia there's a new Ilia Foundation stick which I believe did I take yes okay so I was turned by this so a I always feel like Ilia is very good with shade range which is nice the undertones the shade range yeah the undertones mama when I went on the website I was like cool is cool warm obsess neutral uh neutral yes and and I was sold on it says blurring good for mature skin which 90% of Brands just don't even bother to say if it can be used s mature skin uh with a natural finish heaven so I I know girl cuz I just bought the Ilia the Ilia Foundation mhm which I haven't tried yet and I'm not really positive about like the texture I don't know like looked really nice in stores so I I'm very excited about this no I was just going to say I love it because in every arm Swatch category it's there is shades for everybody it really covers all the ground from the lightest to the darkest I'm so excited for this I cannot wait it is $48 long-wearing skin powered complexion blurs instant and Visibly Firm so their skin care ingredients smooth lines over time medium buildable coverage and natural matte finish I am very curious to dive into the skincare aspects Etc again I feel like these are the kinds of products I've been gravitating towards more recently because it's like there's going to be the skinc care benefits it seems like they're taking fine lines and wrinkles mature skin into consideration it is going to be that what I anticipate of that sheer to medium buildable coverage where it's not just going to be like drag Foundation um and if the colors are actually like as good as they look on the swatches as far as neutral and cool this is something I'd even be excited to say like is there a darker shade cool that I could use as a contour stick that would give me coverage and almost be like an all-in-one done situation as a contour stick like that's I think there is there's one one or two in particular that I'm looking at in like the the category even like the shade of all of them and then the arm swatches I think there's potential for like a few of them to be good Contour Shades and this is so exciting to me so this is a major purchase I'm very excited all right and then we have the super goop protect tint daily SPF 50 m and remember when we did the pr unboxing I got that uh that it's called the brand is called tinted and it's a uh tinted SPF yes so that I that I was trying out and I really like that one I love the texture of that yeah and I not sure how many shades it has though 10 oh okay so then and with this one we have 10 11 12 13 14 so we have 14 Shades effortless lightweight cushiony skin tint meets a powerful Sun protectant with light buildable coverage and a natural finish so again natural finish obsessed and this is the one that is uh $44 so $44 okay for SPF 510 so this is the kind of thing to me when for $44 the makeup aspect the skin tint aspect of this needs to be incredible cuz if not I'll just put an spf50 on under my Foundation that I love like and even the live tinted one is $42 so I'm like big swings here lately and I'm like he it just it better be worth the price point that they're putting on it not to be almost $50 and it suck like Laura Mercier absolutely yeah I feel like Brands don't who I I should say SPF focused Brands don't always take into consideration when they come out with things like this that like Mama this better be groundbreaking because SPF SPF also tends to be the culprit that like [ __ ] up the beauty of a foundation formula so yeah if you're putting spf50 in this like and you're going to charge that we gota the makeup aspect needs to be has to be amazing and honestly I just I'm looking at the arm swatches the fact that there isn't a cool tone shade until the third one in and it's dark Peach yes I don't know mama I think I'm going to pass on this because these Shades even look at the deeper Shades it's like one dark one deep and then the one like is tan deep medium dark and then we all of a sudden jump to this cool tone I know and then a warm tone but there there's too many spaces and I get it's a skin tint that the shades are probably more flexible I completely get that but I don't know this doesn't excite me I feel like super goop has really I don't like super goop as a brand I I just don't you don't girl M get it anytime I get super go PR you get like violent I I just don't get it I don't understand yeah yeah I don't understand don't understand um yeah no I don't I um physically do not understand the the hype around super goop I think everything has so much dimethicone so much silicone it feels like that slippy slidy Smashbox primer and I want to vomit um that unseen sunscreen feels like Lube girl Mama cuz you know what also always chaps my ass it's like even with that lightest shade the 10n you know who needs sunscreen the most is porcelain super Fair people what is that gray dead yeah what is that not a if you're an S you would think an SPF brand would put the most work into making sure that they could cover the people that need SPF the most yeah I'm not I'm not sure what we're doing here at Super goop that you want me to mix two to three Shades to get a perfect match but for $120 yeah laam mer yeah yeah okay it's a pass yeah this a pass all right now we have I believe this is the these are new Li liquid blushes from Maybelline the Sunkissed liquid blushes glosses lip glosses theyed liquid blushes M if it's in if it is the same size packaging as the gloss I'm going to fight them it's going to be cuz they're lazy because they were like why why get a new product compon yeah we have all the components in the yeah we didn't want to make new colors of this so let's print something else on there throwing a shimmering blush you could tell these were supposed to be lip color Shades and like H blush totally and you know what was funny it was like and again you know how I get I get violent when I see another like any blush product any liquid because there's too many and so I initially had a reaction where I was like oh pissed and then I started seeing the way they looked on the model the way it like swatched and I know it's not very big in our picture but it's giving Nars liquid blushes and I at first then I then I went back to the good side and I was like oh maybe maybe we can get someone duping the Nars liquid blushes and actually make shades for dark skin and then I looked at the shades and I went back to the dark side because I said we don't have them are the Dark Shades with us like um cuz bronze is not a blush it's a liquid highlighter for dark skin because of course blush PE uh dark skin people don't like blush they only want a to highlighter yeah it's just bronze cheek it's a copper penny yeah they're like it shows up yes yeah and I'm like yeah a lot of things can show up on darker skin but it's not meant and I'm sorry the shade City Sizzle is that one in the room with us right now that red where is cuz Mama the swatches in that bottle to this up top that does not Translate Mama cuz where is that deep rich Berry that's on her cheek cuz that's not it where is that deep rich color Mama it ain't there so this is a major ceron and especially I'm shame on them because you're [ __ ] Maybelline like we know you have the money to make to roll out 15 Shades to start don't be don't be making six or seven six and acting like you're with the blush Shades I know I know did I tell you about Shades the the the juvies place did I tell you I bought one of the Shimmer ones girl how dare you greasy no I had to know the formula because so I was like whatever I'll buy it and return it mama just like you predicted it's the highlighter formula in the blush greas like the highlighter mama I went back and returned that [ __ ] so quickly I was like what a disappointment and six shades you have 18 other shades of the blushes that you first launched but you were like hm this probably won't work out to do six well because I guarantee you there was something with like mixing all those shades when they were mixing it with the liquid blushes we either didn't have enough leftover liquid blush for liquid highlighter formula to make all of the shades so we had to pick the top selling blush Shades or when they mixed it with certain liquid highlighters maybe the shades were too close or something so they probably said let's pick there was only six shades of the highlight and then there's only six Shimmer blushes or something so it's like girl they had the vat and they said one two six of them go ahead take the top six selling Shades yeah limited edition yeah just next up we have we have a new Mario palette Tak it away so this is the matte neutral so this Rivals the master mats which is the warmer tones um yes can I say something controversial don't piss me off I'm a little excited no you're not because we have talked about how we don't like the formula formula is not worth the price but I want it no you don't no you don't yes I do we talked about how I bought the master mats in the warm at for bridal and I was like I'm these take so long to blend I know there I yeah girl but the color story and it aggravates me in the sense of like I'm tired of like we're clearly you know in this like clean girl makeup Trend where like people want these kinds of things and it's like it's chapping my ass that like Brands like him and k Kim Kardashian and Kylie because I'm pretty sure Kylie just came out with another matte palette that's exactly like and Kim's matte Palette too exactly uh which basically people were comparing it to the first Master mats but and they were saying Kims is more cool which now this is probably going to be the exact same thing and it's like I don't I can't describe it it's almost like when fashion in the '90s we went from Super colorful 80s fashion to '90s fashion and then like an and I don't even know if it was expensive but for humor me for metaphor sake I hate the first brand that capitalizes on Simplicity but overcharges for it like American Apparel which again I don't know if American Apparel was expensive but it was like American Apparel is what I associate as like the 90s of [ __ ] white T-shirt and jeans and you're going to pay anywhere else like don't give me a basic matte neutral eyeshadow palette and charge me $50 in 2024 show yourself out I know cuz there I mean there are so many countless palettes too that will do this color story plus more in there for half of the price so I mean cuz you know what you know what will do it Kevin you know what you know what's very similar to this what which I wonder if you would like that palette if you know cuz it might be a little cheaper is the uh colourpop Twilight palette is a little similar to this in the uh those nice little gray ashy Cigarette Blues if that's turning you on so I will not have you put disrespect on my name ever going near that palette don't you dare well this is basically the $50 version of that palette say it to her face well say it to her face like yeah so I'm sorry girls I don't know there's something about it that I'm excited for but it's just a cool tone pal and mind you I don't even love cool tones like that so why am I even getting hyped I don't know I know girl I know so I'm s pass go look at the color go to Moira go to colourpop's website and you can get eyes Shadow palettes with these same things for onethird the price pass okay next up we have from what I gather it's four primers and two liquid highlighter kind of like Prime shimmery primers from Covergirl so we have out of the four primers there is a velvet blurring primer a sticky gripping primer a hydrating primer called plush plump and then a cashmere C which is a green color correcting and then there is out of the two shimmers it's a champagne for lighter skin and then a darker deep bronze initial thoughts I will say I'm surprised at the kind of just branding and packaging that this is Covergirl it's a little nicer than I think we've seen from Covergirl in a while are you sure it's nice I mean compared to the squeeze tubes mama like oh you're Sayce for Covergirl for oh for Covergirl yeah yeah yeah totally like because we have a pump I don't know to me it's like kind of scheving me grossing me out it's giving me Revolution that it's like we need to come out with six primers out the gate so one of them will you know what sticks to the wall and honestly the name of the primer sticky grip yeah M cuz and these are called Skin enhancer which like didn't Mario trademark that yeah like that's what I was thinking I was like oh yeah we'll say it to her face yeah we'll say it to her face um so yeah I would like to try the plush plump and like I know you with that velvet blur I know that was calling your name I it green you were reaching down and like you were going to pull it out yeah um but I'm not like the sticky grip primer I don't know like leave it alone at this point it's been done 300 times I'm kind of over it but the plush plump kind of sounds interesting the green one cool the glowy ones get the [ __ ] out of here I can't totally and this is my thing as well when it comes to the price of makeup is like this is why I am that's why we passed on the super goop skin tint it's like if you're going to charge 44 to 50 plus dollars I need to know it's going to work before I even grab my keys to go to the store because the audacity so but with something like this I think that's the beauty of affordable beauty products is this gives me the Vibes that like oh I would drive to Ulta to Swatch these on my hand and go to YouTube and see people talk about these and and do a little bit of I would I would give these a chance because it is less of that commitment and if it ends up being good [ __ ] me sideways because an a primer that I feel like does work for me and is good and is a from a crueltyfree brand that actually has the right cruelty-free logo on it like is like that's great like that's like super cool so I would say purchase for this but I would definitely either Swatch it feel it or like watch some reviews which we'll try to get our hands on return it you know oh and you know the best thing about the Velvet blur it has nice cinem sold done oh next up girl y'all know how I feel about this mis Limited Edition house Labs color fuse blushes oh girl this is kind of what gets underneath my skin so they are relaunching March 8th I believe Sephora and everything included and what I'm really disappointed with because one of our um beautiful and bothered insiders had let me know that these were coming back in March so thank you you will remain remain nameless so you don't get fired um I'm just I'm so a I'm excited yet disappointed and there's a lot of reasons why your bringing these back and the the six original colors are not all here lavender blonde is not here o sky so where are the deeper Berry shades for darker skin tones you're not trying to pass off watermelon Bliss Mama as the deepest shade to work on darker skin so then we have these two new shades which mama so it's two Shone one is literally tan and the other one is tan with a pink so me with a sunburn and then me with a tan um totally and I'm just like I'm not it's it's very boring like why couldn't we bring back all the original Shades plus these other two to kind of add offerings cuz I do think that there was a lack of neutral blush but now I'm like now we have the lack of more colorful options at this point so now we don't have a lavender in the Deep color doesn't make sense and we did all this for a colored top they literally redid all this just so could make the top of the component colored because the old one was all silver Sil so now shall we talk about it it's a color top okay girl so someone a girl on Tik Tok had one of these somehow and it is half the size of the original blush Kevin and I did the math and literally the old formula was 42 o for $38 and the new ones which are $32 so $6 cheaper are only8 ounces so it works out to be 90 per 01 ounce in the original now it's a177 per 01 ounce literally double the price girl I just yeah for I know someone at house Labs can do math well and I do I will give house Labs the credit that I think there was a lot of product to begin with but for $38 you better give me a lot of product you better now with $32 you're skimping people out because now you're banking on them hitting pans so quickly that they're like oh I must have really it's almost like um it's almost like a reverse iology thing where it's like oh I hit pan I loved this or did I hit pan in three uses and I'm not sure if I like it we said it in our PR unboxing Mama because guess who just came out with a little bit of a you know a sidestep dupe for these [ __ ] RM Beauty for $22 $2 that's what I'm wearing yeah that's what I have I love these if house Labs came back with these with the quantity to price ratio a little bit more competitive respectful correct you could have competed with RM Beauty but it's like you took these away so you could make a colored top let RM Beauty fill the market gap for cheaper and then you came back with these double the price bye and the shade range well same shade range there's still six shades so why like and honestly blush is not that hard to manufacture um it's quite it's ey Shadow so it's literally it's as easy as pressing eyes Shadow mama so it's all about they had the formula down the payoff down all of that I got to say I got to give it to them great great formula I'm curious to see if there's a formula difference here now um totally CU you know like a re-release sometimes there's like weird better not and I mean that pink better still be the pink that we know and love um and the peach but like it just it feels like there are missing Shades like I feel like the dark berry should be here out of whether lavender blonde was truly limited edition cuz that one was supposed to be but like girl we're missing the berry like let's go come on all righty and then last up we have a new Foundation from Urban Decay this is the uh face Bond waterproof liquid foundation with ninite it is a threein one it combines Foundation serum and setting powder delivers a buildable medium coverage enhanced with 3% nicomide skincare benefits self setting powder absorbs oil and sweat offering a natural finish 24hour wear lightweight for all skin types okay mama let me tell you something if this works how they say it works in my my initial reaction is like we're getting we're getting house Labs triclone level in innovation in a formula whether it does what it says is a different story yeah but reading that shocked and I have to say in past couple years I'm rarely disappointed I mean look at the hydromaniac skin tint I think I will say I will give them the benefit of the doubt that I think Urban Decay does complexion liquid complexion well pretty well this scares me I'm not gonna lie this you know what this reminds me of just the the the sound of it and I'm gonna I'm so excited to try this to see if I'm right do you remember the KVD the portrait Foundation that was like the tall white bottle that was the serum that you would like squeeze out no no cuz it was like a a serum foundation and it was like powder infused serum infused and it was girl greasy it was called true portrait and it was supposed to be like this like soft natural matte finish very similar description to this and it was like this tiny little applicator that you would like Drop It Out Mama the texture was Grease city was the powder in the room with us when we formulated this product because it was shiny all day from the jump oh no it was so disgusting so I'm I'm excited for this because it does sound like yeah because for anything to be waterproof it can't be greasy and sliding so I'm kind of intrigued that it is serum infused of course nide you know the Cheerios are in here yeah the Cheerios have come out to play but I don't know I'm like very intrigued cuz again they do shade ranges pretty much very well uh their products lately haven't been letting me down like that uh the concealer the quickie concealer has actually like that was I wore that as foundation for a little bit and I liked it but I don't yes Mama I just don't know setting powder in it I will put it this way not that face I will put it this way yeah I will put it this way is I'm not going to say purchase because I think it's like uh foundations are always hard for us to say purchase or pass with but I will say this is like I think this is why I pick this and the Ilia is because out of the news foundations Etc these are things I will run out and buy and try for you because I think there is such yeah uh potential which is like I can look at other foundations and say like I'm not bothering so let us know especially since we have kind of three foundations here including that super goop let us know what you're most excited to kind of what what what got your undercarriage a flutter the Urban Decay the Ilia or the um the super goop um so we kind of know what to maybe investigate further first but um I mean on paper this is pretty dope yeah I'm I will say I'm kind of intrigued even on the model skin it looks very pretty and it looks very much like right up the alley of what I'm kind of going for lately that like minimal skin like perfected skin without wearing heavy thick layers I just want minimal layers that cover well so I don't feel like I have a base on so I feel like that this is sounding like that so I'm very I'm intrigued I'm excited all righty guys that is it for a brand new
