Why Cape Town is the BEST city in the world!

cavet town is the best city in the world with the accolades to prove it most people saw these recent headlines but they still don't fully understand the magic so we decided to go on a weeks long mission to the mother City to showcase the Beauty and the lifestyle for [Music] [Music] you oh hello B21 come here let's just let's just love each other you and me we're going to do some amazing things these next six [Music] days you might say this video is a love letter to Cape Town that's fine with me because why Cape Town has our heart tell me Mr sham you have been spending a lot of time in Cape Town lately you're probably like dead tired of uh all of this nastiness nice try you think I'd be tired of this I don't know if I've ever told people but I I love the prom I'm quite a fan of walking oh yeah every morning and every evening but wouldn't you rather be driving up and down Brian and drive you know in no way is this video A bash on any other part of South Africa when I think about why I would move anywhere specifically here at Cape Town it's for lifestyle it's for stuff like this for the longest time I've been coming to Cape Town and I've spent most mornings and most evenings on this prom the walks on this stretch Are Spiritual especially in the evening when the sun is dipping you walking alone together with so many people it's something that hits me inside my soul in a way that I cannot explain and for as long as I'm in Cape Town I'm going to walk this prop every morning every night to watch sunsets like that it just doesn't get better when you work up an appeti after a sunset walk you got to grab some food and uh we decided to make our way to Mojo Market well I got lured in to this place called Alfresco flatbreads and more by a wonderful lady named Lou and then she let me have a taste well she sucked me in I'm going for it here we go oh my Lord fresh flatbread made on the spot and then they've kind of got this like chickeny mixture with sundried tomatoes a little bit of feta in here oh sweet baby Lord okay so we keep hearing that the schwas from Shaw are the best I've had them many times before to be honest and I know they will class there's a reason this kind of meal can't be beat and the way they packed it earlier with the amount of lamb it is off the hook Wow first stop of the morning naked coffee PC point now this oh give me a second this is one of my absolute favorite coffee shops in the entire country started by an old friend of mine named Vic bza they are building a little Empire the store is beautiful people love coming to this place especially the one here in C point and the coffee is just excellent throughout this video we're going to show you rather than tell you about the lifestyle aspects of SE migration and why people are moving there so a few months ago when I was in Cape Town I was craving something super healthy and I got on Google and I looked for a place and I found the general store when I got to the address I actually almost walked past it but thank God I kept looking because this place has become my absolute Haven it's like my home away from home I've become friends with Patricia over here and Patricia today I'm coming in for what I always come in for so what I'd like you to do for me please is paresan chicken the rice cauliflower goodness and some greens and when you dish this up a little bit of extra sauce on that rice cuz you know we got a relationship and [Music] stuff yes Angel P bump it at your little beauty this this is what I'm talking about General Store I love this place whenever I come to the General Store I promise myself that when I leave I'm not going to buy a brownie and then you know what I do every single time I leave I buy theing brownie what are you putting into this brownie um it's um love and love love love love and which drugs some something it's been a pleasure I'm going to go get diabetes and I'll see you later H Cape Town the mother City they always say four seasons in one day they ain't lying didn't get a prom walk this morning don't know where we're going to now because it rains then it doesn't but you know what at least you have a brownie I got my brownie had catch again it depends do I have to take out a bun how much is it 28 red how am I going to feed my kids uh there goes my kids college fund well since we couldn't spend the day outside today we thought we'd just give tacos right now we're at a spot called albaro a few weeks ago when I was in Cape Town I came to this Branch I loved it so much it is a I'm going to show you why so here we go so I'm kicking off with the steak Cadia steaky cheesy goodness but that little bit of ever on Top gives it a little creamy finish [Music] winner the sauce gives a little next we're going to have a little Goro Taco okay slightly sweeter I think if you really like so this is topnotch had to try it a little bit of Mexican bath water M look it's dirty but it's it's tasty how the tables have turned tables have finally turned now we're going in for the pork Taco apparently twice cooked pork chili garlic it's got this sweetness slightly from the red onions that have been pickled now the grand Vale steak taco God bless Mexico I don't care how this looks Mom I don't care if I'm chewing with my mouth open I'm good so the thing I probably love about Cape Town the most is the food scene really it's just off the hook they dial things up what feels like 10 notches if you're a foodie and if you love this type of vibe where you want to get a little bit of this and a little bit of that and you want it to be really good then Cape Town's the vibe it's been a Moody and miserable day and that's perfect for ice cream cuz this is really the only way to finish off the day so we are here at moral gelato so if you follow me on social media I post about this place incessantly you guys are the guys right you guys are the guys so I tell you what we're going to do jents we're going to go two medium cups peanut Paradiso and caramel cookie crumble and for my baby sister behind the camera he's also going to have a caramel cookie crumble and Chocolat how are you not fat Charles uh you see I avoid C M the thing I love about these two flavors the peanut P Paradiso and I know this from memory cuz I've had it a million times he's a little bit saltier obviously and a little bit less sweet so it's complemented so well with the caramel cookie crumble when you put these two together it doesn't get better than this gelato the best in Cape Town by a country mile what a day was a bit and rainy but apparently that gets fixed from tomorrow and Sunday the big ball in the sky is out and that can only mean good things for our Saturday morning so the best place for me to start on a weekend here in Cape Town is AR Market I love this place for a million reasons but I'm going to give you a few obviously food coffee Sweet Treats desserts really can't go wrong here they've got buong they've got breads people come here to do their shopping getting organic Goods for the week and it just has this community feel to it a is like this melting po and meeting point for what feels like the entire Cape Town City Bowl hello how are you good man please can I have a large immune boost am I going to get instantly healthy yes okay from this bucket into my mouth cheers oh you can feel the punch of that Ginger this is the Cuban from bacon on bri now I don't have a hangover but if I did this would be the way to kick it off [Music] hello I he this is the best B and drios in town you know what who ever told you that is a very wise man this one's got a bit of a spiciness just one warning sir the stuff is highly addictive we have a hotline for addiction problem 800 B and then welcome to the addiction stop it get some help okay this one thing I never leave without and it's a brownie obviously bump it out you got to make the world blow no you got I'm ordering this I want this one hello hello oh hello let me just one more time there is honestly just too much to capture here we could spend hours for sure but Saturdays and Sundays 9 to2 you really want to make your way here this place is [Music] winning [Music] from markets to wine farms this is why I'm such a Cape Town Fanboy we've landed at delra probably one of my favorite wine farms in the entire country and this is the aspect of lifestyle that I'm referring to that an hour ago we could be at AR and a beautiful drive later we've landed in the wine region of South Africa let's go drink some wine and who better to join me than my good friend Eric krugger and his wife Dan as we indulged in some adult grape juice at three of our favorite wine pars Eric out of 10 9.9 9.9 it's I mean when you pay a lot for wine you also you have to kind of you just SWR better than me Eric you're not getting the Rhythm right not faster just b r it's cuz you got like a white on your finger to hold everything [Music] that I just need one night where it just feels right more sexy more sexy Dan who's the better srer you see the pattern inage it was like a wild ocean so I tasting and so our wine tasting this has been a solid day Eric Krueger and Dan Krueger your little Beauties let's do it again tomorrow no just kidding not enough money [Music] going it's a new day and the weather just keeps getting better and better and today we're going to do one of my favorite activities we're going to do a full drive around the peninsula our starting point right here in Camp's Bay which is cave Town's party Beach sea on one side you have all these long white sandy beaches and literally on the other you have an endless supply of bars restaurants and hotels whenever you want to take a break from the Sun now ever since I was a little kid I've been doing this full drive around the peninsula and every time I have 5 days or more I take this opportunity and for me I just want to show you how beautiful this experience is because it's one of those things that you can't tell people about you have to show them we're going to be stopping at a variety of places I'm going to give you some context let me show you the endless beauty of this drive around the penins is going to blow your brain I can't tell you how many times I've stopped here made my way down these stairs and sat here for like half an hour just contemplating life normally when I come down here there is no one I sit on one of these rocks listen to the water just flow gently over the Rocks it's so [Music] beautiful oh this place brings back so many nostalgic memories we've stopped here at Mariners WARF in heart Bay when I was a kid my parents used to bring us here we'd grab some fish and chips behind me we'd watch the Surfers do their thing and then we'd feed the seagulls with chips I guess I wanted to reenact I'm block the seagull whisper [Music] baby if you ever want to feel totally insignificant as a human being and realize how small your place is in the universe just take a drive through Chapman PE at the same time you'll be welcomed with all the beauty that Cape Town has to offer this drive is spectacular besides Chapman's Peak my favorite stop is K point this is where the two oceans meet Atlantic and Indian Ocean coming together what you're going to get is the two different colors colliding with each other this drive around the peninsula is a [Music] treat so we've just stopped at juilee Square in simonstown another very nostalgic place for me because I used to come here endlessly as a kid Simon toown is special for a number of reasons first it's home to the South African Navy and there's a statue here of a dog called just nuisance the only dog to ever be enlisted in the Royal Navy and then sown is also home to a massive penguin Colony this is one of Cape Town's oldest towns 35 km out of Cape Town and it kind of proves the point that Cape Town is beyond the Atlantic Seaboard in the city balll these are places that absolutely should be visited if you make your way to Cape [Music] Town so is that your retirement vat yeah one day when I retire me and this bad boy we're going to venture approximately 3 m that's as far as this thing can go right so after a full day of driving around the peninsula we've made our way back somewhere between ladno and Clifton the end of the day sitting Raa was taking in these views I cannot recommend enough doing the full drive around the peninsula stop here as the Sun is setting take it all in yeah but this weekend was action-packed with what felt like a million activities so we've been taking it a little bit slower this Monday morning building up an appetite for the place that we're at now Clarks on Bree street is a trendy restaurant that's quite multifaceted but I've been dying to come here there's something specific that most cap tonians know they've been here before 210 G beef burger topped with clay river Hava cheese and twice cooked fries there is a reason why every time I tell people about Clarks they said me have you had the burger have you had the burger that buttery bage pastry roll is unlike anything I've ever had before I really get why people got on about it that is Contender for probably one of the best burgers I've ever had Clarks definitely lived up to the harp but you know what's crazy for me is how this kind of quality isn't uncommon up and down the rest of Bree Street for me this very Street probably has to be the food capital of the Cape Town City Bowl you're talking about 20 25 different restaurants different Cuisines all with top-notch quality wow there's so much to explore here I can't wait to come back but box you nailed [Music] it we thought we'd get a sunset from a different Viewpoint tonight so we've driven to the top of Signal Hill now I know for sure that this won't translate on camera you can't use the Drone this is something you have to do for yourself the vastness the expanse the 360° views genre getting knocked over almost yep it's all part of a day's work this is what I was talking about this is this is where the paragliders take off from okay they land at the bottom of the SE Point prom so you can't fly drone here but you can launch yourself body first off of this Cliff that's a good [Music] point what happens every evening especially when the weather's good that a whole bunch of people come here sit together like this and they just watch this beautiful sunset we've cracked the weather today all I can hear is Foreign Accents coming from all over the world it's magnificent to with a group of people who love sunsets as much as I do and just take this beauty [Music] in we were completely taken by surprise when a bunch of youngsters behind us started singing out of nowhere as you can see everyone loved it for the next 2 hours we sat in awe as we witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets we couldn't have planned it any better and as we left the surprises kept [Music] coming missioning jeez I myself what did you think did you not yourself it was [Music] unnerving how was that holy wow are you recording this yes oh my God that is insane when you host a travel show on YouTube it's a horrible thing to not have the words but I feel like nothing I'm going to say is going to articulate what I'm seeing wow [Music] look who finally joined me fancy meeting you that's the deal chicken Sando and then pami onion bagel and finally bagel dog show us how you eat that why did genre's lens extend when we said that excitement nothing oh sweet Lord all right my mother doesn't watch this since the boys and I were searching for G Town's best bagel we popped into my favorite shop after visiting Dwayne's Hotpot Clan skis is still the OG but to keep things fresh we then tried a new place together okay here here you order inside and you bring it outside yourself like you ideally you want to come here hungry if you like thick things this is where you want to go it's called the salt beef for a reason so This Is My Jam cuz I love salty stuff the sesame seed bagel and then a little bit of the sweetness coming through with the pickle we're going to go get on for the rest of the day enjoy boys we got one little closer for you baby so one of my favorite activities to do in Cape Town is a Sunset Cruise and tonight we are joining wild Horizon's Waterfront Adventures on this
