further to say uh we are of a certain or a particular denomination but all those things are so important to define few things in society on your standpoint but is it really who you really really are who are you i am a child of god so i want to ask you and i will lead you to answer the question i will ask you who are you i want you to answer i am a child of god beyond you being a pentecostal a baptist beyond you being a catholic or a protestant it is important for you to know that you are a child of god meaning you have the nature of god in you who are you i am a child of god beyond the being an apostle and being a bishop in act bishop being the leader of the presiding uh decon you must know you are first a child of god oh well we thank god that you have a good enterprise you are a managing director of something that is visible and moving well but beyond all that you must know i am a child of god when the enemy comes to attack you he will face you as a child of god meaning this god will stand for you because you derive from him a child of god is one who has the nature of god and derived from god you are not just anybody that's why what is destroying everybody cannot come to faith in god which is the ingredient that god looks for before he accepts me or before i'm pleasing to him there are four important things that gives me victory and gives everyone in god who understands spiritual matters victory if you understand these four things you will always win the first one is your vow to god the second one is your covenant to god the third one is your alto the last one is prayer a man who understands the power vows we will go through vows breaking it down teaching weeks after weeks or days after days as the lord will have us the grace to do so i will share with you what you need to understand about vows so if you understand vows you understand covenant you understand altars and you understand prayers you will never lose a battle the reason why danielle though he was a state man prayed three times a day was because daniel understood the power of prayer the entire kingdom stopped and they put all the weapons to attack a man's prayer life they met together and voted a decree of the king that's supposed to undermine the prior life of one man in such a big kingdom why because the entire spiritual world understand the power of prayer vows covenant around elijah around one man full of horses a great army because a man who is in covenant with god must always know those who are with me are in greater number than those who are with them are you understand who you are you are not your own you are not your tribe you are not best defined by your education you are best defined by the god who is your god because you belong to him if you tell me in your pocket or around your waist which type of value do you have [Music] you are best defined not by the color of your skin not by the profession you have not by your career you are best defined by read it so you may have the word and it is my prayer as i read it that you may understand who you are and how important your presence is the book of acts 27 speaks of a great man of god going through a long journey and the shipwreck that took place in the journey that are supposed to lead him to is judgment judgment according to man book of acts 27 verse 21 i put you in the context the bible speaking about paul who was arrested paul was persecuted because everyone who want to live right before god will be persecuted by men [Music] so paul was taken and he was taken from one level of prison and persecution to another the bible reveals that he has been taken to even the king at least agrippa who was a regional king who's supposed to represent a higher king which was caesar the great king and the paul came to persuade agrippa to join the lord as he began to present is a so-called defense it is said that the agrippa the king so that the paul was not really worthy of the shackles that was on him he was willing to let him go but simply because paul had already called for caesar he could not be let go he had to go to caesar they entered and began the journey to europe to go to italy to go to rome in the journey they had many difficulties literally the waters were not on their side those days to navigate was not as easy as it is at least with the technology that we have we do it today for tourism yesterday they did not go to the waters for tourism it was not just for a simple tour that men went on a sheep it was as a mean to get something out there to conquer to transport or to do fishing verse 21 the bible reveals or the bible speaks of what paul had shared with men who were all in the boat in the sheep in the shipwreck as they went through all kind of trauma no trauma of persecution only because they were already in chain but trauma because of the journey itself they did not see hope it was difficult moment the winds and the waves were all against them they were tired they were distressed they did not eat a thing they were all in the lowest and paul spoke to them now i read this so you may see not only the words of paul but you may understand the power of one who is a child of god one who is in covenant with god one who is god's own you will see how important it is you will understand that because you are a child of god you are in covenant with god you are god's own where you go god goes people around you are saved because of you if you are in a a plane that's supposed to crash and everybody or every life supposed to be lost by virtue of your presence there by virtue of your presence not the bible by virtue of your presence not the cross by virtue of your presence god will spare everybody your family will be saved because of you the bible says believe in the lord you shall be saved you and your household and that this is where i want to pull your attention the bible say verse 21 but after long abstinence from food then paul stood in the midst of them and said now paul is speaking to those in the boat it is reported that they were all together 276 men so he stood in the congregation of 276 men they had a centurion they had soldiers they had the sellers the owner of the sheep and the prisoners he stood and spoke and addressed the 276 men and is saying to them words or sharing with them words while they were in the lowest they did not eat the problems were crushing them this is when paul spoke the bible say after long abstinence from food then paul stood in the midst of them and said man you should have listened to me man i warned you that this will happen you should have listened to me hear me when a child of god speaks when a covenant man or woman of god speaks when somebody who's god's person god's own speaks you should listen he prophetically warned them of what is ahead because you see spiritual people see spiritually you say you should have listened to me and not have sailed from crete and incurred this disaster and loss for there will be no loss of life or loss verse 22 and now i urge you to take heart ladies and gentlemen if i have to emphasize i want to begin here he said now i urge you to urge is to exalt he said now i exhort you i encourage you i urge you to take heart for there will be no loss of life among you but only the sheep i had warned you let not go this way but you us who know how to read between the line will agree that it was not a unique experience for paul to encounter an angel that's why he spoke with confidence because the experience was familiar he said meaning they will also survive because of you the survival is not because of them god will cause them to survive the winds and the wave simply because you paul have a mission and you paul cannot be to feel that void because that void can only be filled by the lord almighty you too want to be a child of god you too want to belong to him you want to take a decision today to be a child of god so i
