in this video I'm going to show you the Ultimate Guide to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ahoy their Cruisers in this episode we're going to be talking all about Royal Caribbean the largest cruise line in the world they have 26 ships that's more than any other major Cruise Line and it means that you're choosing the right ship for you is vital I'm going to show you everything from their ships including their unique features onboard activities restaurants and more so by the time you finish watching this video you'll know exactly what ship is right for you we're going to split this into two parts the big ships and the small ships so let's start with the big one shall we 18 vessels and four classes make up Royal Caribbean's big ship Fleet we're going to explain what each of the classes are and who we think their best suit first up is the Oasis class if you're looking for a vacation an experienced fit for royalty look no further than the five ships of Royal Caribbean floating Mega Resorts The Oasis class including the latest and greatest Edition The Wonder of the Seas they're the biggest ships in the world the Oasis class ships are truly massive they top all others when it comes to providing an unforgettable experience and full wow factor now there's five ships currently in this class Oasis Allure Harmony Symphony and wonder of the Seas with Utopia of the Seas coming soon they can hold over 6 600 passengers there are seven neighborhoods on each ship with the exception of wonder which has eight neighborhoods now the first neighborhood the boardwalk is a Charming outdoor neighborhood reminiscent of old-fashioned boardwalks there's a classic Carousel and an aqua theater providing amazing entertainment plus some great dining experiences as well the pool and Sports Zone on the top decks of the Oasis class ships have four main pools and adults on only Solarium three water slides and a sports arena Central Park is an outdoor Park area with over 10 000 different plants and flowers surrounding dining and shopping venues it's really beautiful then the Royal Promenade is the main heart of an oasis class ship with dining bars entertainment and shopping the entertainment place is a hub of entertainment venues including a comedy club ice skating arena and a jazz club the youth zone is where all of Royal Caribbean's kids clubs are located then we have the Vitality spa and Fitness Zone the onboard spa and gym including a thermal Suite beauty salon Fitness classes and a healthy Cafe called the Vitality Cafe wonder of the Seas also features a sweet neighborhood this is an area of the ship dedicated just to Sweet guests it has a pool bar lounge areas a Coastal Kitchen restaurant a suite lounge and more you going to find so many attractions on these ships including climbing walls zip lines across the top decks a floor Rider surf simulator mini golf water slides and much more and all but the Allure of the Seas have the crazy Abyss slide it's 216 feet long it's a 10 deck high dry slide there's some fantastic entertainment including shows such as Greece hairspray cats and Mamma Mia and some of the newer ships like Wonder Symphony and Harmony have newer restaurants and slightly more features and the cabins are super spacious and well-appointed wearing a cabin on Symphony Of The Seas right now and it's lovely it's really really nicely designed and there's a huge choice of different types sizes budgets and ships including the massive ultimate family suites as we said you talk here of the Seas a brand new Oasis class ship will be coming in Spring 2024 as will another Mega class the Ike of the Seas a brand new class you can watch our video on this channel all about it it looks amazing go check out that video so when it comes to restaurants and bars there are over 18 places to eat on each of the Oasis class ships how crazy is that complementary options include the main dining rooms a buffet Sorrento's Pizza a Park Cafe for lighter snacks the Promenade Cafe and much much more there's extra dining Pier options as well on all of the ships including Wonderland a magical culinary experience chops Grill the American Steakhouse Azumi Sushi and Hibachi Grill Johnny Rockets and much more so it's going to be really doubtful that you're going to go hungry on one of these ships there are so many choices of cuisine when it comes to bars there are over 15 to pick from including a pub Latin themed bar a bar which moves over three decks pool bars a bionic bar and much much more it's crazy so who do we think that these Mega ships are for well we think they are great for families and kids they're going to have the time of their lives with activities supervised by experienced staff while the adults can explore a wide range of different areas dining options restaurants some of which are led by renowned chefs then there's plenty of things like cozy cafes and all of that jazz they're really good for people who want to have fun with lots of different options to do on their Cruise when it comes to entertainment activities and food these are mega cities there's so much to do most of the Oasis class ships can be found in the Caribbean year round departing from Fort Lauderdale Miami or Port Canaveral with one or two ships visiting Europe in the summer and usually a ship sent to Cape Liberty in New York as well as one in Galveston in Texas who might not like this class of ship now this is important as well these ships do usually sail with a lot of Children and Families so if you're not into that kind of thing and want to avoid them this might not be the best type of ship for you they can also be very very busy as well for lines for lots of things like food and entertainment so if you want a more traditional laid-back experience there are definitely better options next up are the quantum class ships from Royal Caribbean these are really fantastic this take your vacation experience up a notch in our opinion they're very Sleek modern vessels and have been very carefully crafted with signature activities diverse dining options and Ultra modern technology that make them stand out in the fleet Quantum class ships are designed to be the ultimate All Season experience this is why they feature more indoor space than found on any other Royal Caribbean ship they offer itineraries around the globe including Europe Alaska Asia Australia and of course the Caribbean now let's take a look at some interesting facts about these ships shall we well there are five ships in the class Quantum Anthem Ovation spectrum and odyssey of the Seas and they have a smaller capacity of around 5 000 guests unique features on these ships include an indoor seaplex facility where you can ride bumper cars go roller skating play Esports and even practice gymnastics and air robotics how cool is that there's a skydiving simulator at the back of the ship Yes you heard me right skydiving a huge 270 degree theater at the back of the ship called 270 with Shores featuring huge robotic screens the North Star this is an observation pod that rises from above the build deck to over 300 feet above sea level to provide some amazing views across the ship at sea or import you have the Music Hall a two-story entertainment venue with live music and comedy the ships also feature the floor Rider surf simulator a climbing wall and a royal Promenade filled with shops bars and restaurants as well as a theater showing Broadway style Productions including We Will Rock You And original Shores the newer and bigger spectrum and odyssey of disease also feature the sky pad at the back of the ship this is a VR trampoline it's pretty crazy these ships also feature a large outdoor pool deck including an indoor family Solarium and a lovely indoor adult only Solarium at the very front of the ship with some beautiful cascading pools hot tubs and plenty of comfortable seating this makes it perfect for Colder Weather cruising such as Alaska again the cabins are very similar to Oasis class ships they're lovely and well designed super spacious and lots of choice from inside cabins all the way up to those huge Suites again like the Oasis class ships it features many of the same dining options and bars so there will be never any time where you go hungry or thirsty we actually prefer the layout of the buffet on this class as well it just works a lot better than the bigger Oasis class ships but who are the quantum class ships for well we feel like they're a little bit more grown up than the Oasis class ships they feel slightly smaller more sophisticated and a little bit more intimate but they're still great for kids as well and families with lots of great kids clubs and features to keep every single person happy personally this is our favorite type of ship within the Royal Caribbean Fleet it just ticks so many boxes but who's not going to like it well it's still a huge ship so if you're looking for a smaller ship experience this still is not going to be right for you look elsewhere and there's lots of up charges with dining and if you want to spend more than just a few seconds or minutes on things like some of the features like the north star or skydiving simulator you're going to need to pay for it so it can be quite expensive next up is the freedom class of Royal Caribbean ships now there are three ships in this class and they are among the most beloved in the Lions Fleet the freedom class vessels are slightly older having been built in the mid 2000s but they are still great for that classic big ship cruise experience and you'll still find lots of restaurants bars multiple pool areas and features found on some of the bigger and newer ships now let's take a look at some of the facts about this class well as we said there's three ships Freedom Liberty and Independence of disease Independence happens to be one of our favorite cruise ships they have a capacity of around 3 600 people making them smaller than the newer ships features include a floor Rider surfing simulator a water park a miniature golf course and a rock climbing wall these ships also feature an ice skating arena and Ice Shores and you're going to find a large theater as well it also has the Royal Promenade featuring shops bars restaurants for a mall type experience and with all of the other ships that we've mentioned a large casino and full spa now there's still so many places to choose to eat and drink on these ships they Feature A lot of the same inclusive restaurants such as the main dining rooms a large Buffet Sorrento's Pizza Cafe Promenade and more and when it comes to extra pay options as well there are still specialty restaurants on board including chops Grill and more now who's going to love these ships well it's for those who want a slightly more smaller ship classic ship but with lots of the same features and restaurants like they're bigger Oasis class and Quantum class siblings but with a capacity of just over 3500 passengers they are much less intimidating and easier to get around when it comes to size and crowds again a great all-rounder great for kids families couples and solos and one great thing is that they can be often cheaper than some of the newer and bigger ships as well now who won't like them well if you're looking for all of The Cutting Edge brand new features that the Oasis and Quantum classes bring this might not be the best ship for you and don't be fooled these ships are still huge so if you still want that small ship experience it might not be for you next up are the Voyager Class of cruise ships now these are basically the same as Freedom Clash ships but just slightly smaller the freedom Clash ships are basically a stretched version of the Voyager Class it has many of the same features as the freedom class ships they were the first to feature things like the Royal Promenade with bars cafes and shops in their interior and one of the main differences from the freedom Clash ship is that this Royal Promenade is a little bit shorter than those ships there are five ships in this class including Adventure Explorer Mariner Navigator and Voyager of the Seas they hold slightly less passengers coming in at around 3 100 people about 800 passengers less than the freedom class and again these ships are slightly older again they were built in the late 90s or the early 2000s now the remaining eight vessels left in the Royal Caribbean Fleet the smaller vessels are split among two different classes they're smaller with a maximum occupancy topping out at around 2 500 passengers this makes them half the size half the size of an oasis class ship so they might suit you better first up is the radiance class the radiance class of ships boost over three acres of glass so you can take in sweeping views from nearly every angle this is something missing on some of the bigger ships whether lounging Alfresco beneath one of the ships retractable roofs or gazing out in an exterior view elevator to admire some beams bouncing off a million different blue Waves how amazing does that sound they were built in the early to mid 2000s now let's take a look at some of the facts about this class of ship it includes the Brilliance Jewel Radiance and serenade of the Seas and they carry around 2 000 passengers these ships offer less bells and whistles than found on newer ships as they're much smaller but you're still going to find a rock climbing wall mini golf course and three pools three hot tubs and the adults only Solarium there is still plenty of ways to have fun from trivia and bingo to upbeat parties and more now there's the main dining room on board buffet and snack stations but when it comes to Specialty dining all radiant Clash ships have at least a chops grill a zoo meat and Giovanni's table so still plenty of choice now who's going to enjoy radio ships well these ships are perfect for adventurers looking to explore the world it's going to provide an intimate atmosphere with just enough excitement and relaxation if you want to get off the beaten path or take a voyage of Discovery around Europe or the South Pacific Oceans this is the class for you you're going to find Port visits full of culture without all of the Fanfare these smaller cruise ships provide casual fun minus all of the glitzy commercialized spectacle that comes along with the newer and larger ships you may not like these ships because they don't feature some of the bigger and newer things found on the latest Royal Caribbean ships plus there's less choice of itineraries but those windows on board offer something not found on any of the newer ships you get the perfect Cruise experience finally is the vision class of ships these are the oldest ships in the Royal Caribbean Fleet they were built in the mid to late 90s they are the smallest Royal Caribbean ships offering fewer on-board attractions and amenities than the bigger ships Royal Caribbean Vision class ships are something special for those wanting a more intimate Cruise experience explore some of the lesser-known ports in Europe and Southern Caribbean islands the destination is more the star than the actual ship itself like the radiance class these ships offer lots of great ocean views with glass walls and windows all around the ships so let's take a look at some of the facts shall we well in this class you're going to find the Grandeur Rhapsody enchantment and vision of the Seas and they carry a little more than 2 000 people except for the rock climbing walls the vision class ships have none of the signature Royal Caribbean top deck attractions such as surfing and skydiving simulators cruise ships from the 90s were and are a real treat they've got inviting pools relaxing whirlpools and sunny spots to Lounge all over now in addition to the main dining rooms and the buffet each of these ships has at least one additional extra pair specialty restaurant so you're not going to find the huge array of dining found on some of the bigger ships but there's still plenty to eat you're not going to go hungry trust me now who were these ships for well if a slow paced intimate more traditional experience is what you're after then the vision class ships might be for you enjoy classic activities like Bingo trivia nights dance classes as well as relaxing evenings let go of any hectic hustle and bustle whilst embarking on an unforgettable voyage that truly brings relaxation into Focus now these ships on longer itineries have much fewer families and kids on board as well because the bigger ships are just so much better for that plus you can find some Bargains especially for Caribbean Cruisers compared to some of the newer ships you can grab a bargain because these ships don't quite offer as much now who might not like it well these ships are not great for kids to be honest and families there are just so many different options we're sure that kids will still have a fun time on them but there are other ships that are just so so much better and because these ships are a little bit older some of them may be starting to show their age a little bit Cruisers who want more dining variety more activities entertainment and features are going to be better off on one of those newer ships now that was a lot of information we hope that you
