Where Were You When Tupac Died?

I saw Pok 20 minutes before you got shot I saw Pok in Vegas about to get to the car he's coming out the hotel and we walked off and we got in the cab and they got into Bentley's and all that other stuff you know we went on to another party and 20 minutes later we heard pop got shot I was at more Angie's house in the living room I think we just playing a video game and we kept getting a whole bunch of calls and pages for my toes to turn on the news we turn to no zone and we seen he's saying a little [ __ ] I remember calling a Fenian saying fade do I need to get on a plane right now she said Jada he's gonna be okay do you get here when you can I drove down there to the hospital cuz I wanted to see my [ __ ] you know then make sure he was tried I'm thinking it he was gonna make it was pop he'd been shot before fine our first reaction was again you know me and then he's like ah he gonna be a hike cuz you know it's after he got shot five times he was like a cat with like nine lives I had went to see him when he was still alive and um I said a little prayer to him in his head and held his hand and whispered at him you know said my peace with him you know he didn't have no consciousness but I felt like my spirit and his spirit connected and I felt like he got it well I heard that Tupac died I was cooking in the restaurant it was a sports bar so there was a big TV screen and we all just kind of watched it just like you know just dazed my mother knocks on the hotel door will opens the door as soon as I see your face I knew he was gone I cried like my mother cried when Marvin gayed not a lot of people had worked at the job that I worked that I didn't understand Tupac I didn't understand the music so we're looking at us like what's what's wrong what's the big deal get over it and it's like nah this is a really [ __ ] up day for the longest I think everybody anybody who has something to do a hip hop and and love the music was there was a sense of mourning for a long time could it be my destiny to be loved me because the pony but she was different

My 7th grade junior high teacher (I'm 28 y/o) told us back in the day that the school was depressed as hell when Tupac died. The central California junior high I went to was mostly hispanic...I can only imagine how kids in the black communities took the news.
