Where to Find Palium | Mining Guide | Palia

Hello friends and welcome back to Pia in this video I'll be going over everything mining I'll include time stamps in the description box below in case there's something specific that you'd like to jump to the mining skill hador is the NPC who's in charge of the mining skill he lives in Bahari Bay and that's where you can often find him as you progress through the mining skill you can visit hiori for upgrade recipes to improve your pickaxe and smelter you can also visit him for recipes to make various types of bars in your smelter once you've reached level 10 you'll have access to weekly challenges completing weekly mining challenges will award you skill medals that you can use to buy silver gold and pum bars an or Compass or some decorative items for your house you can find your challenges here recent changes to mining on March 1st 2024 patch 0.177 came out in this update the singularity 16 changed nodes to behave more like forageable items would this means that once you break a node you'll see the node turn into a ghostly outline of itself to other players in the area the node will be visible but have a blinking white outline on it the faster the blinking the closer to complete despawn that node will be noes completely despawn after 3 minutes I think that this is a fantastic up dat there's been so many times where I can see someone mining something and by the time I had run up to them the node was already gone now everyone in that area has an opportunity to mine the node also it takes the pressure off of people feeling like they have to announce pallum notes copper ore copper ore can be found all around kilma Valley they're mostly concentrated around or on top of cliffs my favorite place to mine copper is near Fisherman's Lagoon there's a good concentration of copper in this area and while I'm there I can also mine clay around the water iron ore iron ore is currently only found in Bahari Bay they're mostly concentrated around or on top of cliffs another place to find iron is in the paval mines you need a standard pickaxe or higher to mine iron my favorite place to mine iron is around Hideaway Bluffs there's a lot of no close to one another and I also find a lot of pum nodes when I'm in this area too in addition to nodes there's creatures to hunt bugs to catch and a small fishing spot I like to focus on some of those tasks while I wait for the nodes to respa pallum hatch 0.175 released in December of 2023 and with it was a very brief mention to a change with pum nodes quote pum can now Spawn from any location where iron nodes also appear end quote I think this is important to mention because online I see a lot of maps showing where to find pallum nodes and while those Maps aren't wrong they're also not entirely correct anymore either earlier in the video I mentioned that my favorite place to mine iron was in Hideway Bluffs it's also my favorite place to mine pallum personally I seem to find more pum in this area and I assume that's purely due to a high amount of nodes here in general if you make a run between Hideway Bluffs and the Beach comr Cove fast travel you should come across a lot of different nodes hopefully a few of them are pallum ones two other honorable mentions for pallium would be the cliff side of the flooded Fortress as well as the Pavel mines my only issue with the Pavel mines is that there always seems to be a lot of people mining there hopefully now that the nose behave more like a forgeable item there will be a better chance of getting your hands on some of the pallum in the mine note that you will need a fine pickaxe in order to mine pallum the Paleo Wiki has some more suggestions on where to find pallum I'll link that below you can also use the or Compass to help you locate pum nodes the or Compass is an or tracking tool that unlocks at level 8 mining when using the compass you'll see rare nodes marked on your screen the game considers both large iron ores as as well as pallum to be rare Star Stones while mining you have a chance of finding a star Stone from your node different types of nodes will have different stones that they may drop so what you find is dependent on what you're mining star Stone can also be gifted to NPCs but each NPC will only accept the stone that aligns with their star sign and they will only accept a star Stone once per week it's considered a loved gift so it's totally worth gifting them to your favorite NPC to boost your friendship level with them keep an eye out for Star Quality Star Stones Star Quality Star Stones can be placed on your lot is decoration that's all that I have for mining today if I missed anything please let me know in the comments below thanks so much for watching I really appreciate it and I HED you like the video bye friends for [Music]
