in this video we will be looking at when a prime antonio brown battled the legion of boom let's start the video [Music] in 2015 antonio brown was on top of the world he caught for a ridiculous 1834 receiving yards he embarrassed cornerbacks on a weekly basis and he even ran all over the no-fly zone although in that fantastic season the most intense matchup he played was against a legendary group of players when antonio brown and the steelers traveled to seattle to face the legional boom and the seahawks during week 12 of the 2015 season heading into this matchup the legion of boom are already established and very well respected around the league with a loud shutdown corner richard sherman hard-hitting strong safety cam chancellor and a fierce free safety earl thomas in fact this group of players was the best secondary in each of the past two seasons the legion of boom's dominance made receivers worry and panic well almost every receiver antonio brown has way too much confidence to be afraid of the legion of boom he is a shifty wide receiver who is nearly the fastest player on every field he touches he can beat you by breaking your ankles and running past you or even like this along with that antonio brown torched great secondaries up to this point in the season he can dismantle anything his opponents try to do he is one of the best wide receivers in the league adding to that the legion of boom need to win this game they are neck and neck with the buccaneers and the falcons for the last wild card spot whoever loses will most likely be left in the dust in the playoff race which is just not good news at all for the legion of boom the steelers offense ran through antonio brown and he is nearly unstoppable if the seahawks don't contain antonio brown then they will most likely lose this game along with that all season the seahawks have struggled against good passing games four out of their five wins came against bad quarterbacks while almost all of their losses came from above average quarterbacks unfortunately for the seahawks antonio brown and big ben are on fire heading into this matchup antonio brown dropped 284 yards against the browns in week 9 then 139 yards and two touchdowns against the raiders in week 10. now against the legion of boom he knows he is going to have another great game finally it is time to see antonio brown and the legion of boom battle it out [Applause] now they get it for the point during the season as ruth was getting into open nice move there by yards receiving [Music] brown by green and roethlisberger comes out with 20. there's antonio brown [Music] sherman is there his first interception of the year and sherman's got a running back [Applause] [Music] like a group of deranged madmen the legion of boom shut down antonio brown and the seahawks won 39-30 not only that but their excellent play directly led to the seahawks victory in the fourth quarter with 14 minutes and 18 seconds left first down in 10 antonio brown tried to be physical with richard sherman but failed miserably leaving richard sherman as the receiver now he caught this incredibly easy interception this play put the seahawks in great field position they scored just five plays later still in the fourth quarter 11 minutes and 40 seconds left in a two-point conversion to put the steelers up three big ben tries to find antonio brown but richard sherman bullies him off of it he took away two points from the steelers although to truly see how dominant the legion of boom's performance was this is a list of every game antonio brown has been targeted 10 plus times in his career a very long list the top is his best performances and the bottom is his worst now if we reveal where this game lands it is his fifth worst game in his nfl career antonio brown's 2015 season is one of the best wide receiver performances in nfl history he made the no-fly zone look like burnt toast he broke records and had a season to be talked about for years to come despite all of that the legion of boom in week 12 shut down antonio brown i hope you guys enjoyed the video if you did leave a like and subscribe while you are down there all right i'll see you guys next time
