[Music] when you watch transformers film and your film nerd like me there's part of me that's going okay what are the practicalities here so Haley when you're hugging bumblebee which is very tender in the film I'm thinking is that a guy wearing pajamas huh right corner yeah [Music] what's her name well if only it were that high honestly what if you would have wanted that that would have given me a lot it was an emotionless bust yes it was literally like we'll be cut as the breast huh yeah yeah severed severed he's blunt yeah um it was it was that it was like it was a it was a fuss at times when there was nothing there it was just me alone yeah you know make it they don't teach you that at drama school you need to do an air hug yes trust me yeah it's gotta be wide enough it's a big but it's humongous imagine it's a talking walking car oh good now I'm good thanks there's another bit in the movie which really made me laugh and I know it shouldn't but it's one bumblebee puts you in a skip she puts you in a little bit know when he puts you in a bin and I just went that's hysterical you were literally for a shot camera setup like rigging everything's read and you're like you got me in the in the trash bin yeah yeah and I actually believe that was a it wasn't a set it was there that was a it was a real dontcha rentals cheap yeah how are you gonna know that unless it's like brand spanking new right I don't know too many dumpsters that don't have any reps on them for course you know one rep in a dumpster in its room filled with trash well they say yeah that's what they said similarly John you've got to act up to this absolutely my I'm a dumpster fire much yes so everyone's saying Wendy for example he's letting off rockets or he's you know literally about to blow up you and the restroom Italian she ran sort of direction are you getting from mr. nice just be myself I mean I I cheat death every day you know even even walking on my hotel room it's you should see the way I dodge when I feel are obstacles threatening my life so inside yeah just tell me just just yourself but tone it down just a little bit less adjust less just this truck is about to erupt into flame just be yeah yeah yeah I think it's too much though just turning and also I've been asked with it being set in the 80s was the certain amount of 80s I've no revision that had to be done but you the review of like I need to get into the mindset of the 80s was it listening to all the Smiths like how did you get into the zone kind of never laughs okay I don't even care way too many buttons on a Playstation controller like I can only play Tecmo Bowl like that's it and I can't even find the warp zone on Super Mario Brothers so this woman was right in my wheel this is a phat pitch right down the middle I was I was okay I love the in your head it's silly I tease of course I mean why not why not right why not cassette tapes sure sure cuz you could make mix tapes you know be music can help you say what you're feeling try this making a mixtape with something really special heavy sigh well what it was it was similar to like if you were to bestow on someone a playlist like here here my favorite songs that remind me of emotional connection or times we spent together but because it was tangible you could then label the tape seemed like it was an arts and crafts thing and then the team had a case so you could label the tape and like label the side of a tape because tape cases were like a V agent no that doesn't work tape cases were like a Dewey decimals now that doesn't work either whatever it was like a playlist playlist a physical tangible playlist I think there's a youtube series in seeing you John explain the past I'm I'm very game for this Wow I could say if we actually did that the future will go down in flames for me especially Conway thanks for watching if you like that then do watch these videos or you can listen to my podcast called Radio One's screentime oh and do not forget to hit that subscribe button you can now get more Radio 1 in your life by downloading the BBC sounds app or the BBC iPlayer app search for full-length versions of these interviews by typing in movies with Ally plum
