friends Henslee and Caroline are over playing after school today. And we are going to do a challenge today. You may have seen one of our past videos where we did a What's in the
Box? Challenge in toy cafe. Well you guys loved it so much, we had so many requests to do another one in a different room, that today we decided to do a
What's in the Box? Challenge in Addy and Maya's room. So we're gonna be in both of their rooms. - Yay! - In your messy rooms. (groans)
- (laughs) So we're gonna start
by explaining the rules to the girls and to you
at home for you watching. Now What's in the Box? is a
game that is now in stores, you can buy it at Target, I believe, and we're gonna play a version today. Okay girls, so I am
breaking you into two teams. We're gonna have Addy and Caroline versus Maya and Henslee. - Winning team! Winning team right here!
- Winning! - [Lucy] Addy and Caroline. - We're gonna win!
- Or Maya and Henslee? - Who do you think's gonna win at home? Our last game, Addy's team won, so we'll see if Maya
can come back this time. So, basically, you girls
are going to take turns walking around both
Addy's and Maya's rooms with a little black bag. And you're going to take
something from these rooms, and hide it in the black bag, you can't tell the other
team what's inside of it. And Addy, what are we gonna do with what's hiding inside these bags? What happens next? - So we will put them in
the What's the Box? box. - [Lucy] Yep, put 'em in this box. - And then the other team will have to put their hands in, and guess. - And guess using only
their sense of touch. So to recap the directions, each team is going to get two bags. They're gonna walk around
Addy and Maya's room. Grab a mystery object from the room. When it's their turn, they're
gonna put it inside the box. The opposing team will reach inside and try to guess what the object is only using their hands
and the sense of touch. Are we all ready for the game? - [Together] Yes! - [Addy] Can we give hints? - So first I think it's a good idea, I think you need to be familiar with what's inside their bedrooms. So I'm going to give
them a couple of minutes to walk around both
Addy's and Maya's room, their closets, the bathroom, so that way everybody has a good idea of the objects that you
have to choose from. All right go hunt, go
look around the rooms. So you don't get your objects yet, just kind of look around
and know what's inside here. That way you get an idea of what the other team could have picked. Now, I'm embarrassed because
their rooms are super messy, like messy to the point
where I don't even to like to walk in them anymore. (gasp) - You are so rude. - [Lucy] I'm so what? - Rude. - [Lucy] Rude.
(laughs) See here's Maya's closet, this is another place they
can choose objects from. We have lots of stuffed animals over here. There's books, there's clothing. If you come this way,
we got bathroom, whoop. And Addy's room is right over here. So look around, Addy has a lot of stuff in
her room, don't you Addy? So lots of stuff to choose from. Lots of stuff to choose from. Addy, this is a lot of
stuff you have in here. And, I haven't even
shown you Addy's closet. Addy's closet is really bad. I'm embarrassed to show
you this place too. Let's take a peek! - [Addy] No, it's too messy! - It's too messy, it's very messy, Addy. - Too messy! - [Lucy] Oh my goodness. - [Addy] Too messy. - Oh, wow girl. Well now, I think they have a good idea, at least somewhat of a good idea of what's in the bedrooms,
what's in the closets, what they have to choose from. Addy and Caroline go in the hallway, and we'll let Maya and
Henslee go together. Walk around, they can kind
of brainstorm together and see what they want
to put into the box. - I know - [Lucy] Oh my goodness, what is that? - [Henslee] I got this. - A magnet, okay let me see. So Maya's picking a magnet that
was on the dry erase board. What are you picking, Henslee?
(gasps) This is a little chick, what is this from? It's from a Little Live Pet right? Inside the eggs? Alright, so they chose
their items super quickly! That didn't take long at all. So I'm gonna have you girls
go in the hallway now, and I'm going to send Addy and Caroline in to choose their secret item. Alright, girls remember your
job is to find two objects that you think the girls will
not be able to figure out just by touching it, by
their sense of touch. - So, we are not putting our
items against each other? - Correct. - Okay yeah, so that's why
we are finding it, together. - So you can work together exactly. Alright, go hunt for some items. (upbeat music) Gotta be super quiet 'cause
they're just out in the hallway, we don't want them to hear
what the girls are picking. (upbeat music) - So Addy's putting glue
from her woodworking kit in. They will never guess
that, that is a good one. Let's see what Caroline's gonna find. Going off to Addy's closet now. Maya and Henslee picked
their items really quickly, but these girls are spending some time finding just the right items. I think, I don't know, they might have a better shot at winning. So, one possibility is this coffee cup from the American Girl store. Ooh, she's got a cinnamon
bun container here. You got some good options Caroline. So, Caroline what are you deciding on? - The pie. - [Lucy] The cinnamon rolls, I think. Cinnamon rolls from the American Girl. Alright, put 'em in your black bags. Alright, we've got everybody back in here so it's time for the competition to begin. But I realize, we never talked about what the winning team's prize would be. - Oh yeah. - Ooh, I have an idea! - [Lucy] What do you think? - How about they get to pick
a toy from the toy room. (gasps) - Alright, so the winning
team gets to go down to our storage room, if you've
seen our toy storage room, we have a lot of toys in it. Unopened, brand new toys,
some not even in stores yet. And they'll get to pick
whatever toy they want from the toy room. What do you guys think? - Good. - Yeah, 'cause then like
there won't be any arguments. It will be perfect! - Perfect? Okay, perfect. Let's have, since we moved to Addy's room, we'll have Addy and Caroline
do their first item. So that means, they're
gonna open up the box and stick it in, one
of their items inside. - [Caroline] (mumbles) - Shut the door. Now normally if you are playing at home you would keep the box shut, and you'd just reach in and feel around. But since we are filming
this and want you guys to see what's actually happening,
we're gonna turn it around so you can actually see
their hands reaching inside and you can see what they're
feeling and guess if you think they're gonna guess it correctly or not. Alright, Henslee's gonna guess first. Go ahead and open it Addy. - Alright. - [Lucy] So you're gonna
reach your hands in both sides, Henslee. And here's the other bit, you only get one guess
between both of you. So don't guess until
you've talked to Maya. - This is hard (laughs) - [Addy] Alright, do you
want to let Maya try? - [Henslee] Yeah. - [Lucy] Alright. - [Caroline] And then you
guys gotta agree on something. - What is this? - [Addy] Oh, mine'll be even harder! - Oh come on! - I think Caroline picked a really, really tough thing to guess. - Hardened sli... Putty! - [Caroline] No.
- Putty! - Uh oh, they get one
guess don't say yes or no. - Putty! - [Lucy] Is that your one guess? - It's hardened putty. - [Lucy] Okay, they're
guessing hardened putty. Let's take it out. - Ah, come on! - [Caroline] You guys
didn't get the point! (laughs)
- A cinnamon roll! So since they did not guess it, that means Caroline and
Addy get one tally point because it goes in their favor. And if you're playing this at home it actually comes with a scoring card so you can keep track and
follow the game rules. We're just doing this a
little bit differently since we're doing it on YouTube we want you to be able
to see it really well. So, who's item's going in? Are you going to do it Addy? - Yeah, mine. - [Lucy] Alright, go ahead. Addy's gonna put her item in now. Girl's aren't lookin'. - Alright! - [Lucy] This was Addy's item. Okay girls, go ahead Henslee. Remember only one guess
between the two of you. - A baby bottle? Don't answer yet, make
sure they agree first. So Henslee's thinkin' a baby bottle. (laughs) (gasps) - [Lucy] It's a good one Addy! - It's like something that you squeeze, it's like the nose things. - You two have to come
up with a final guess. - No, this is not one,
because the top is not one. - [Lucy] Do we need to set a timer? - No! - [Lucy] Timer's set!
Timer's set! Ten seconds! Ten seconds for a guess! - Just say it! - A baby bottle! - [Lucy] Alright, let's
show it to them Addy. - Wood glue! (groans) That means an extra point for us! - Wow, so far Addy and Caroline
are winning with two points and Henslee and Maya don't have any yet. But Henslee and Maya are gonna be putting their objects in the box now, so this might be where they
catch up and tie the game. Alright, Henslee, she put her item in. Let's remember what it is. Here's what Henslee picked out. That's a good one too, Henslee. Alright, Addy and Caroline,
who's reachin' in first? Addy's goin' first. - Oh, I know what this
is, I know what it is! - What? - [Lucy] Don't guess,
you only get one guess. - Oh, I know what this is! - [Henslee and Maya] No! - It's the little chick toy! - [Lucy] What is it? - The chick toys, the
diamond chick toys thing. - [Lucy] Is that what it is, girls? - Yes. (cheers) - [Maya] Okay, my turn! - Wow, three to zero! So Maya and Henslee have got to catch up. It's three to zero right now! Okay put your item in Maya. Let's see what hers was, oh
yeah, this is a tough one too. Alright, Addy's reaching in. It's a tough one! - [Maya] We should set the timer if they don't get it in fifty nine. - I think we might have
to give Caroline and Addy a timer pretty soon here,
they're struggling with this one. Only one guess. Alright, turn the timer on Henslee! - No! - Oh, I think I know what it is! - What? - I think it's one of those button things. - [Henslee] No, it's not a button thing! - [Lucy] Well, don't answer yet! What's your final guess? - Those metal things you put writing on? - [Lucy] The metal things
you put writing on? - It was the metal thing on this! It was the metal thing on this! It was the metal thing on this! - Oh my goodness viewers they guessed it, but did they get it in time? I think I have to go back

ahead and give the point to Maya and Henslee,
although it was a tough call. - [Addy] Oh yeah, three to one! We're winning! We're winning! We're winning! - All right, so now the
girls each had a chance to hide one item each. Now we change things up and I'm gonna pick a few items, think I'm gonna pick
two items in their room and hide them myself and were gonna see which team
is gonna correctly guess it. (kids chattering) Alright, kiddos you guys
gotta go out to the hallway, while I find the items. All right, so I need to find two items that I think are really
going to stump them. Then I'll bring Henslee and Maya in to see if they can guess them. I'll bring Caroline and Addy in separately and see if they can guess them. Hm, this might be a good one! I'm gonna see if I can
find something else, even better though, let's see, I'm in Maya's closet right now! She has so many bins, ooh! A Cutie Car, that might be a good one? I wonder if they'd figure this out. I'm going to hang on to this too. Hm, fingerlings? No, I think they'd get that one. Let's see, Addy's messy closet. My goodness Addy! Let me tell you once it's summer and we have some more free
time, this girl is going to be cleaning up her room and her closet. This it atrocious! (upbeat music) Alright, I'm going to stick
with my original ideas. I'm gonna put the Cutie Car in first. And I'm gonna call in
Henslee and Maya first. (upbeat music) Alright, Henslee and Maya,
you guys are up first. Shut the door. Okay, now wait, here's the key here, Addy and Caroline are just
out in the hall right? So whatever you guys think
it is, you gotta be quiet. You can't yell it out,
'cause you don't want them to hear you and get it too. - It's a car! Wait, no, wait. I don't know. - [Henslee] It's a van! A van! - [Lucy] Shh! - I think it's a van! - [Lucy] Be quiet, okay? What do you think, Maya? - [Henslee] It's a van. - I think it's a hospital truck. An ambulance, with like, um the red thing. - [Lucy] An ambulance, so what
are you thinking, Henslee? - A car, or, but not like a real car. - The Shopkin car things! - Shopkin car! Shopkin Car! - Alright, these are like a round two, so I need a very specific
answer from them. So I need a specific exact answer. - Yeah, we both think it's a Shopkin car. - Are they called Shopkin cars? - Mm hmm - I don't know guys, Shopkins cars. Now we're gonna call Addy and Caroline in, and see what they guess. I'm not gonna tell you! Alright, Addy and Caroline are here, and they are going to reach in and they're going to take a guess too. And I'm gonna tell you right now, I need a very precise, exact answer. And remember, you only get one so you gotta talk to each other first before they submit their answer to me. put in is the game card for our Nintendo 2DS. Alright, Caroline and Addy! I'm gonna let them come in
and they'll go first this time since Maya and Henslee
went first last time. Alright, shut the door. Now you girls, since you're going first, have to make sure you're very quiet. - This is, oh I know it! Feel it, feel it, feel it. - [Lucy] Sh, what's your final answer? - It's a 3D XL game chip. - Yeah, a Nintendo 3D XL game chip. - We're going with a game
chip for a Nintendo 3DS XL. Now we'll bring Addy and, no to bring Henslee and Maya in and we'll see what they guess. Alright girls, get the
