Oh, yes! [laughing] Say hello to my little friend. - I’m MatPat! - I’m Hannah Hart. - Max and Harvey! - Jordyn Jones. - I’m Tarreyn. - And I’m Carly. It’s JoJo and this is the back to school-- - Back to school... - Back to school... “Lunch Box Taste Test.” Now, normally your mom packs your lunch for you, but today, Nickelodeon packed my lunch. So I can’t wait to see what terror awaits. [intense musical interlude] This doesn’t look too bad, until you look that there’s a sucker with a literal scorpion in it. Nickelodeon and the bugs. What is with it? Are you kidding me? I’m not eating that. Mm-mm. That’s a strong smell right off the bat. Ooh. Why? - Are you kidding? - Is that slime? [upbeat music plays] So right here I believe we have our protein. I think this is like a turkey jerky. Yup, yup, yup, it is. Peppered. Chewy. Delicious. No cafeteria lunch is complete without mystery meat. I mean, I’m pretty sure this is turkey. It definitely isn’t beef. It’s definitely beef jerky. Vegan jerky! That is good! I don’t really think I want to know what it is, but it’s good. It’s like sweet beef jerky. I don’t want to say it’s good, but it’s kind of good. You’ll notice that I'm avoiding this thing at all costs. All the stuff I’m like I kinda recognize this, this is good. - Snake? - It’s a fish. Snake! Is this snake jerky? [laughing] Python jer – wow! It’s got--got a little bite to it. Badoom ching. Python? Give me your power! Why would you do that to me? I just – I ate a python. I mean, is it bad that I am not that disgusted and I still want to eat it? You know, people always talk about the dangers of snake bites. But I’m like, this snake better watch out for this bite. Am I right everybody? [laughing] Oh great! Mystery orange goo. I get it, but it looks like, just like a tub of peanut butter? Oh man, is this baby food? Oh! That’s probably the best-smelling one out of all of it. Oh wait. This is the good part. But it looks disgusting but I know what this is. Uh-oh. Am I supposed to dip this in this? - Okay, here we go. - It’s my favorite. Oh, oh. Okay. It’s not bad. Delicious. It’s horrible. Awful. I'd rather eat the python jerky. Is it butterscotch pudding? [bell ringing] Yes! You know, the older you get the more you like butterscotch? It’s definitely like an old person candy. I had plenty of grandma’s candy, growing up, so… I’m very familiar with the fine taste of butterscotch. I’m going to save it in case I don’t like the other things. - Fair. Fair, fair, fair. - I can come back to it. Is this a hot dog? Are you kidding me? Smells like ketchup. Am I allowed to taste it? We have a… Aw. Oh no. Blaugh. I know what this is. Nickelodeon’s trying to fool me. I don’t want to eat this. [laughing] You’re speechless. Words can’t express how much you love this. Wipe it off. Just shut your eyes. Oh, that’s a bad hot dog. It tastes disgusting. I don’t know what it is though. It’s ketchup! Right? To me this reads as a salad. To be honest, who likes eating salad anyway, right? We don’t need to eat that. All right. I put it off long enough. Scorpion banana sucker. Why are you in here? What in your life led you to this moment? There’s a wasp in it! I've just now decided that I’m vegan now, after that python. But this guy can just hang out. How did you open it? Get out of there. This is… - Is it always at the top? - This is gonna be a whole hour long thing of how you can open this. I mean I’m not going to taste the beaut. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a scorpion pop? A one. A two-hoo! How much time do we have to film? I just want to get to the scorpion. I’m going to be honest. All right. I’m going to try to get the bug out of here though. I got – I feel like I’ve got to take a bite with a bug. [hitting] Come on! I’m not going to lie. Can I just break it on the table? No, I can’t. [hitting] - Has anyone got a hammer? -These will only get to him. Oh yes! [laughing] Thank you! - I’m scared. - I’m kind of scared as well. I’m scared of it what… - Oh ha-ho! - You made a mess. But I got a bit closer to the scorpion. Wow. About to have the time of my life. Okay. [hammering] This thing does not want to break! Oh! Oh, hang on. I lost half the scorpion. Got it! How are you supposed to get to it? I mean there’s a bit of it. I’m not even joking. Scorpions taste like chicken. Ah well there’s barely any of the bug left. I’ll take this little piece. Can you see this? There’s a little piece and it has the bug in there. Can you see that? It’s not bad. Oh there it is! There it is. Mine was no mess at all. Nope! I thought there was going to be another crunch, but there was a liquid in there. If this lunch got packed for me, my reaction would probably be something along the lines of what did I do to you? Snake jerky makes it sound extreme without tasting too bad. Butterscotch pudding, you can’t beat. And scorpion pop! There’s actually no risk of getting down to the scorpion by the time lunch hour is over. So you’re going to be good. I give this review a zero. If I had to eat this one day, I’d probably just not. Yeah. So overall, I rate this lunch an eight and a half out of ten. Thank you guys so much for watching this taste test! I hope you enjoyed it.
