finals is Tobias a victor laime [Music] is unable to battle Charizard wins is the champion lane come on ash it's been ages why do you lose so much there is no way you could possibly be worse well that's not a very nice thing to say max ol why are you even talking to me Toby don't you that birds to keep her something well I'm trying cool focusing on sky but he's not answering hmm see so like hmm do I have a Batman here so that the blue matches the blue of the WiiU or do I just leave it alphabetize but now there's just this big Wii game it's just suddenly white blue white well yeah but like what the blue but my aesthetic but alphabetize this is a conundrum you're trying to Skype in from your studio setup yeah technology's come a long way but you know Walsh might not be the very best II came in second last time he certainly come a long way and he could be a lot lot worse oh really oh hey sorry who is busy what's up oh hey Logsdon so look what would actually is worse TV let's say he could only use bookworm a Youth Court and still hats well Pikachu what Pikachu is trash and if you tally up of the losses Pikachu has lost way more battles than any of his other pokemon I mean yeah sure but that's because he's used Pikachu in the most battles look at his wing to loss ratio Pikachu's actually quite good I suppose well then leprous would be on the team he doesn't have Lapras anymore slowpoke oh crap I'm in another video now aren't I you know it so only using Pokemon that ash hasn't freed or given away doesn't limit us too much no but using only Pokemon he has cut sure does the dweeb barely has 16 percent of all the pokemons so much forgot to catch them all so Toby what what makes a bad team when the game is making a good team is all about having Pokemon with good stats and Pokemon to cover a whole range of types where one has weaknesses the other Pokemon in the team cover it so I suppose if you wanted to make it team bad you'd want to make it to you just out of like one or two types and that explains why Pokemon games are ridiculously easy most trainers are monetized so to purposefully design a terrible team we'd want it to be mana types not necessarily let's say we took ashes flying type team a lot of their secondary types cover a lot of bases and on top of that the normal type itself doesn't actually have a lot of weaknesses just fight it which again flying covers I suppose there's my grass team would be fantastic that'd be Bulbasaur bailey sceptile Torterra Snivy and leave Annie but even then Ash's had a lot of experience with Bulbasaur are both his Torterra and Sceptile awfully evolved so they have decent stats and certainly well a lot of they do have a lot of losses under their belt a lot of those happened when they were in the lower stage evolutions and now that they're funny evolved they didn't have more victories so instead of going mana type we should use only a few types preferably ones that share the same weaknesses and pull from his worst precisely and when we're dealing with a Pokemon anime we also have the liberty of Pokemon personalities oh right because in the games the personality of a Pokemon does very very little but as many of Ash's Pokemon show personality can make or break a team in the anime universe the most well-known example of course is Charizard it was very lazy and more often the nut refused to fight she had quite a few Pokemon that would have liked that actually it's almost like he's a terrible trainer or something hmm so how should we do this well I think at this point it's just a case of churning the numbers taking Pokemon from the bottom half and then working out which ones have a terrible type composition I don't over that pokémon that have terrible personalities from battling and you get yourself a losing team sounds complicated but let's give it a go of the Pokemon he still hands tauros is the worst this is one of the reasons many people don't even remember that he has a 30 of the god-forsaken things even he caught the ball in an episode that was banned in the US because American children apparently have skin as thick as graphene and can't handle the existence of a gun in the Pokemon world so he barely used it and for a good reason it only 120 percent of the battles at fought but while it might be the worst of the worst when it comes to the Pokemon the ash still has the normal type as we said earlier is only really weak to fighting type and on top of that he has a pretty good personality for battling if we move up the list just a little bit to talk oh that doesn't Pokemon of Ash's that has a win-loss ratio of only 22% so it's still pretty terrible and when you look at personality it's pretty easy to see why that smokestack speed is more water than fire it cries all the time it must have watched the Taurus episode will juice the personality on its own makes it worthy of the worst team but looking ahead I don't know tied for third place of ashes where spokeman we have seen on tv and Palpa toad having only one 25% of their battles and then tied for fourth we get bold or unfitted Oshawott totaling 7 Pokemon now so we would have to get rid of one if we were to pick a team based just off of his worst but really even though these are only Ash's worst Pokemon when it comes to team composition they aren't actually that bad if we remove offshore which I'm sure many Pokemon fans would love then there's not a lot of type crossover each Pokemon covers the weaknesses of the other pokemon the team fairly well if we move up the list though just a little bit tie for fifth place with only 44 percent victory we got Totodile Torterra talonflame and Sceptile and really that 44 percent for sceptile is only when you look at the training period as a less-than-perfect Treecko and the same could be said for Torterra later on they were pretty good and considering Snivy is the only other grass type here I'd say using any grass types in this team is out of the question but I do notice three water types one of them being Totodile which is known to at times [Music] care more about dancing and showing off than actually fighting so Totodile is definitely on this to you water types are weak to electricity in grass so that's fantastic here although Palpa toad gains an immunity to electricity because of its ground typing but then being ground on water it does get me four times week mister grass perhaps then we should focus on other pokemon week to those same types like unfastens being week two electric and ash always has at least one bird anyway and then there's bull door week to grass ground fighting and water and with no grass or electric-type pokémon on this team there is nothing to counter an enemy water pokemon and even if you put Ash's terrible torkoal on there to counter grass type Pokemon it's still a crybaby and Ash's second worst right there are not very many options here some types are going to get countered no matter what but it's a matter of countering them the least which leads to an interesting conundrum the team so far is Totodile Oshawott torkoal unfazed and palpite Odin bull door if anything at first I'd say replace Palpa toad with Toros but then what if instead we replaced it with talonflame Oh II see what you're doing here even though talonflame would counter the to use growl sweetness he is also weak to electricity making our electricity weakness times four plus it's weak to water - meaning this thing has no advantages over the water type plus well this would make talonflame the best pokemon on this team there is no way that it is capable of carrying this otherwise terrible combination especially considering its best and most iconic move that ash has it used all the time is brave bird a move that also damages itself talonflame is the best here but it is also a glass cannon not capable of carrying the team also consider the fact that this team is very weak to water on grass water is the most abundant type of pokemon and grasses before--the most abundant and as well as that has a pretty high weakness to rock and electricity so this team it has some major holes in it and most of this team's overall weaknesses aren't counted apart from the grass type but given though that that just terrible wind percentage is in general when you do the math the average chances of winning individually only add up to about 35% and that's when they're working in teams that have type composition plus when they're on ash's teams with other pokemon that do excel of a variety of different types here all these Pokemon are in a situation where they are designed to lose where they are working with book one that they don't you know that don't complement their their types so in reality this team chance of winning are much much lower and the less than battle worthy personalities of Totodile torkoal and sort of austin what we'll just lower that even more for the team as a whole plus half of the team isn't even fully evolved so I think we've got it the absolute worst team ash could possibly make with the Pokemon he still has aren't they precious what was the point of this video again what valuable lesson have we learned what benefits does knowing this bring to anybody's life Oh none at all whatsoever it's just fun just fun hmm but you know the follow-up question will be what is
