in this video we will demonstrate how to generate a high-quality heat map with no coding using an AI powered web application heat maps are powerful visual tools used to represent data in a graphical format where values in a matrix are represented as colors heat Maps offer a quick and intuitive way to identify patterns Trends and correlations within large data sets at its core a heat map consists of a grid of cells each representing a data point the color of that cell represents the number that the data point corresponds with the value of the color can be read from the color bar on the side of the plot heat maps are widely used in different areas for example in healthcare they aid in identifying abnormalities in medical imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning in genetics and biology heat Maps visualize gene expression patterns to see the correlations between the expression of the genes for demonstration purposes we will download a data sheet from an article public in Nature Neuroscience next we gradually change the web app's parameters to generate a good-looking Journal quality plot let's first download the data sheet from The Source data [Music] link we then open the downloaded file and choose a data sheet we would like to [Music] visualize next do a bit of cleaning by giving appropriate names to the columns and remove the extra [Music] columns we use Compu Flare's AI powered web app to make the plots first start a new chat using this drop- down [Music] menu if you don't know which app to use it is easy to spot it by looking at their output figures alternatively describe what you need and ask chat AI for app ID suggestions use the send to admin button to select the [Music] app here simply answer yes since we have the input data at this point we need to upload the data we just downloaded and [Music] cleaned trigger the first round of the analysis by responding yes to the [Music] admin check out the result via this link let's now see how to fix this overlapping issue for this we just need to describe the problem and ask chat AI for [Music] help as suggested by chat AI we can rotate the tick labels to avoid the overlapping issue for this we need to go to the parameters page and search for the parameter that chat AI suggested to change if interested we can also check out the documentation of the parameters by visiting this [Music] link let's now go back to the parameters page and save the changes respond yes to the admin to rerun the analysis with the updated parameters to download the result either use the provided link here or go to the result page and refresh [Music] it okay as you can see we just resolved the overlapping [Music] issue let's now ask Chad AI to help us change the colors of the heat [Music] map seems like the colors can be controlled by the cmap parameter but wait what values are possible for this [Music] parameter let's for example try this value [Music] well I still don't like the colors let's check out the documentation page to see the complete list of [Music] values let's for example try this value [Music] let's see what else we can change I'm going to ask Chad AI to help me with these two parameters [Music] chat AI suggests that use this parameter instead which automatically sets the other two parameters of [Music] Interest let's see how the plot [Music] changed although chat AI is always available to help most parameters are well explained on the parameters page we can quickly go through them and see what they do [Music] I hope you have enjoyed this video Happy visualizing a [Music]
