What if Anakin killed General Grievous after defeating Count Dooku?

hello everyone and welcome back as we go over another what if scenario regarding what if Anakin after defeating count dugu decided to end the war and kill General Grievous in the Revenge of the Sith novel by Matthew Stover Anakin just rescued the chancellor and Obi-Wan was still unconscious after their duel with Count Dooku Chancellor Palpatine tells Anakin capture Grievous and you will have dealt a wound from which the separatist may never recover you will have practically won the war singlehanded forget about Obi-Wan he has no idea how powerful you truly are Anakin could see it arriving to the session of Congress with Grievous in Electro bonds standing next to palting proclaiming that the war is over returning to the council chambers where after all this time gets the respect and rank he deserves Anakin takes Obi-Wan still unconscious to the hangar Bay with Chancellor paltin a ship is ready for them to take off once Anakin has defeated Grievous Anakin tells ptin to hide in the ship with obiwan until he returns Anakin uses Force speed to Sprint as fast as he can without getting detected by droids to the Invisible Hand bridge where he figured General Grievous would be Anakin arrives at the bridge where he pulls out his lightsaber destroying the droids guarding the bridge Anakin has never met General Grievous before but from the stories at the Jedi Temple and from Obi-Wan he is not to be messed with lightly General Grievous has murdered countless Jedi and keeps their lightsabers as trophies and it can tell tells Grievous the war is over General I killed count tuku and once I have defeated you the war will be over your lightsabers will make a fine addition to my Grievous sends his Magnum guards to defeat Skywalker however Anakin is too skilled and slices the Magnum guards into pieces Grievous ignites all four of his lightsabers to face off against Anakin Anakin knows that he must use his forced style form and five Shin demo to stay both the offensive and defensive as the battle goes on each lightsaber strike is powerful from Grievous trying to catch Skywalker off balance however Anakin is able to stay on the offensive taking off one at a time each of Grievous's four arms as he he sees the battle coming closer and closer to an end the powerful Jedi Knight then uses his anger to use the force to rip open the organs in General Grievous's chest this causes General Grievous to become weak as Anakin then takes his lightsaber straight into Grievous's chest causing all of his organs to fail and collapse onto the ground motionless Anakin knows he must get off the ship as it has been severely damaged from the battle as Anakin is moving his way off the bridge the ship breaks in half Anakin is now trapped on the bridge hoping that Obi-Wan and Palpatine were able to escape Anakin is forced to fly what's left of the ship in two corant wondering how he's going to explain this to the council as Anakin lands the ship he is met with M wendu and a bunch of senators asking about what happened Anakin tells mace W that he went to go fight General Grievous alone after defeating Count Dooku he told Chancellor paltin to hide in a ship with Obi-Wan and after I defeated Grievous I would join them Anakin continues that the blast door shut on him trapping him inside the bridge and he was not able to make it back to them and nck asks mace W if he has heard anything from Chancellor palting or Obi-Wan mace W replies that we have not been able to contact or locate Chancellor Palpatine or Obi-Wan mace wend tells Anakin we need to conduct an emergency meeting with the Jedi Council to discuss the events that transpired as Anakin stands in front of the counil he hears what the council has to say about this matter mace Wu in a aggressive tone tells Anakin your mission was to rescue the chancellor and instead you decided to go against the council's order your decision making has jeopardized the whole mission and now the Republic is in shambles kiotti Mundi says your master is gone and systems are now joining the separatist cause your actions are irresponsible and unlike the Jedi way the council has decided you are no longer to be a part of the Jedi Council or the Jedi Order Anakin in Anger at the council's decision to have him off the Jedi Order gets rageful the doors open up with the temple guards and Clone Troopers to take Anakin out of the temple with nowhere to go Anakin heads home to Padme as she believes believes that Anakin made the right decision going after Grievous to end this war and save so many lives Padme tells Anakin to be patient that whenever the Supreme Court elects another Chancellor all these remaining systems that are joined the separatist cause will inevitably come back this will solidify the end of the war we can finally leave this life behind she tells Anakin as Anakin leaves the room he opens his cink to a message from an unknown source the individual tells Anakin the separatist leaders are gathering in the Mustafar system to Rally other systems to join their aid go there and kill the separatist leaders to finish what you have started do this and you will save your wife from certain death Anakin tells Padme that the there are still people in the Galaxy that want you dead I must go and capture these criminals wait until I return Anakin goes in his star fighter with R2 and heads over to the Mustafar system to end this war as his star fighter lands he sneaks inside as he hears a familiar voice it is vicroy guno leader of the Trade Federation he is trying trying to Rally more systems to Aid in his attack against the Republic Viceroy is stunned to see Anakin as no one from the Republic was supposed to know about this meeting Anakin tells vicroy that the war is over your power in the galaxy is at an end Vice Roy responds that you should have died in the Gin ocean Arena along with senator amadala Anakin fills with rage that he knows it has been Viceroy all along that has been wanting Padme to die all of the assassination attempts against her life were because of him Anakin pulls out his lightsaber as he strikes down Viceroy and all the separatist leaders that were on viceroy's side going around the room with every kill meaning closer and closer to the end of the war his manner begins to change with every kill his eyes glow yellow as the dark side is getting stronger in Anakin all Anakin seeks now is only Revenge Anakin looks around to his mission complete the separatist have all been killed and the war is officially over off in the distance Anakin hears another figure walk into the room as he turns around to see who who is coming a hooded figure arrives at the door in a familiar voice you did well Anakin they were too dangerous to be left alive that fix his mistakes of not completing his mission instructed to him by the Council of just saving the chancellor after defeating Count Dooku however Palpatine manipulated Anakin to defeat General
