eat in a week my grandma is here right now visiting and i wanted to do a little what i eat in a week video to show you guys all the wonderful delicious korean foods that she makes so yeah i'm super pumped and excited ever since i first moved to korea anyway ever since i first moved to korea my grandma helped me out a lot because it was my first time living in korea she lives in busan actually so she always comes up to seoul once in a while and she used to come and visit me to teach me a lot of korean recipes and i learned a lot of like living alone tips and tricks from her i'm gonna be helping her out this whole week and we're gonna make lots of korean food together i'm really excited because i love love love korean food i'm gonna finish up my celery juice now and get to work [Music] as you can see yum here's the kimchi rice and this is tomato kimchi super delicious tamaki smitha try this tomato kimchi [Music] is [Music] made some bokeh with [Music] wow [Music] we just came to the bread blue which is a vegan bakery we wanted to get the red bean red bean paste bread which they usually have here and it tastes really good but they didn't have it today so we got some other different korean vegan bread desserts instead this is a brown rice castella bread a mango cake layer cake i guess delicious chocolate bread i'm excited oh my god [Music] this is such a good one i'm so glad we showed this one [Music] wow you wanted all the chocolate all the chocolate i just called you up to let you know your man been messing around he been messing around i guess he didn't [Music] [Music] but i got a plan to devise [Music] it's currently 12 p.m i am a ravenous so i'm gonna eat the patrick that my grandma made me for breakfast and i'm eating a pretty late breakfast i know but i'm usually not hungry in the morning so yeah i'm gonna eat it now okay i'm gonna just try some of the patrick that she made oh my god that's so good guys and it's sweet it's delicious [Music] [Applause] put some on top [Music] okay as a quick snack i'm gonna eat this yummy's haruki it's like a korean rice cake it's so good it has like chestnuts and some other beans and stuff on it it's like one of my favorite rice cakes i love like the fluffy ones that kind of taste like a cake so yeah i'm going to have some of this just as a snack while i'm editing a video [Music] i see the way you move this a dirty diana you say don't get cold there's pieces of raisins inside too many promises but no guarantees just seem to believe all that i can't be i see the way you move right i'm talking you listen coking and spelling the way you get down in business said i'm drawn to you and just can't get enough okay guys so now i am going to make some toppokey for lunch i'm gonna make the spicy the pokey sauce from scratch i'm using tomatoes okay so the soup is cooking right now and now i'm gonna prepare the ramen this is a vegan ramen that they sell here in korea is called i love this ramen it's like actually my favorite vegan ramen that they have here so i'm going to be using this today the rice cakes mmm these are 100 brown rice rice cakes i changed into a t-shirt because it was getting so hot but look at this beauty [Music] this is so spicy but it's so good [Music] so i'm gonna try it though oh my god if any of you noticed i'm really bad at using chopsticks because i use it in this weird way i don't hold it the usual way people use it this is how i use chopsticks i know people kind of hold it differently probably like this or something i can't do that i don't know it won't come off hey guys it's 1 30 p.m i had a little bit of a late start to my day today i had my celery juice as usual earlier and now i'm going to have my breakfast my first meal of the day which is gonna be tubu kimchi with rice and some seaweed this is like a very basic korean [Music] dish [Music] she's so bulletproof with those eyes hmm what's the spot you said little things it's beautiful [Music] hey guys so it's 12 a.m right now and i'm about to have my first meal of the day my grandma made some lovely hobakjuk today so this is the hobakjuk with like pieces of hobok in it and rice brown rice inside for the chewiness and some kaktuki so it's 2 17 p.m and emily just came back from her walk and bought some duck that was kind of funky it looks like a long zucchini this is called shirutak this is the mugwort rice cake okay wow look at the beauty wow hmm i love soup duck so much oh my god it's huge it's so good wow i care about more [Music] [Music] [Music] so i'm just gonna give this a quick taste to see if it's enough sauce it's ready you guys can go quick shall i take some oops um we finished the whole bowl of piping guksu so we just made some more because it was so good so we just had to make some more so i just peeped it all i don't know how to say that in english mix it all i just mixed it all i'm gonna cut up some keem in here good morning everyone it's 12 20 p.m so it's actually not morning oops so today we are making with tofu in it and it's kind of spicy but it tastes really really good there's lots of potatoes in it [Music] so [Music] so emily was really struggling pouring out the water for the rice after rinsing i gave her this and i saw this trick on tick-tock show it to the memory so smart i usually always like spill rice but then but now look at how effective i am and you get all the water out it's amazing the best tik tok hack ever i always had such a hard time with this like i just refrained from the rice making because of this but now my rice is nice and dry i wasted a few grains of rice because i didn't do this trick from the beginning but then luckily alex saved the other grains you know their lives could have been lost down the drain that's why that tick tock hack saved our lives and the rices and the rice the grains from going down the drain yes the grains the strain the strange the savory days from going down the drain it rhymes we're poets we're poets we're artists our artistes [Music] that's so good as is [Music] so [Music] hmm so i think i'm gonna watch some true beauty while eating the rest okay oh my god i'm on episode 15. let me know in the comment guys if you are team suho or team because that's a tough one [Music] okay guys it's 12 20 p.m emily just bought some lint chocolate 70 and i love chocolate so i'm just gonna have some of this oh my god asmr this reminds me of like charlie and the chocolate factory like when you like open the packaging and the sound that it makes the moment of truth there's no golden ticket in here it's exactly 1 p.m now i'm gonna have some leftovers i just made myself [Applause] oh my god this do you think i can wash it and eat it no it's too gross it's so alcohol i dropped half of the rice this is all the rice i have left now i'm so smart okay thanks emily so i'm gonna eat the leftovers i have some jajang sauce here i'm gonna put some on top of my rice doesn't bob used to be like my childhood favorite you just have the jajang sauce with rice and it tastes amazing try some with the noodles for lunch i'm making some just boiled the 100 buckwheat noodles and then i'm gonna pour this into this bowl i got two of these so that one is just normal soybean and this is a black bean soup thing i really want to try the normal soy bean soup the white version not the black bean one so i'm gonna make myself some more shake it shake it baby shake it shake baby [Music] looks amazing i think i like this version better it tastes really good very creamy so this week is holiday so that's why we are making it's like a korean rice cake soup traditionally you eat rice cake soup when the new year starts or for halal is the lunar new year holiday in korea so yeah we are making delicious rice cake soup i love eating this honestly all year round it just tastes so amazing and it's one of my favorite korean dishes [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so emily bought a bunch of breads from the bread blue it's garlic bread [Music] the next one we're going to try is the red bean paste bread um so this is the version which is literally red bean paste with butter it usually doesn't look like this but this is how they make the vegan version of it they just put butter with the red bean paste i'm so glad i got this one yeah [Applause] i don't know
