What happens when you max out the gardening skill in the sims 4?

oh hi thanks for watching my video So today we're going to be doing another skill building video kind of similar to the one we did on programming and wellness and today we're focusing on gardening see what happens as you max out the Gardening Skill and this is just to learn more about gardening in The Sims 4 and definitely not because I've ran out of ideas this is my sim his name's Frankie he seems to be obsessed with the TV Frankie get your ass back out here I've built you this beautiful garden that is ready to thrive we've got some starter seed packets in our inventory in fact you know what I'm just going to open all of these and figure out which ones thrive in summer I've decided to make summer last basically forever 28 days so hopefully we shouldn't have to worry too much about plants dying from being out of season well bananas grow in summer so let's plant a few banana trees apples grow in full so they can off grapes grow in full so they can go themselves mushrooms are full in spring so they can do one you know what Frankie while I go through these and do this boring job why don't you come and plant some of these these summer vegetables in summer flowers and fruits Frankie doesn't really have any friends so this is why he's decided to get into gardening so that he can build meaningful relationships with things that are technically living hey we've acquired the Gardening Skill you yeah so my goal for today's video is we're just going to build up the Gardening Skill and see what happens as we progress I have dabbled a little bit in gardening in The Sims 4. I'm not sure that I've ever like progressed all the way through all of the skills though all the way to level 10. but right now we've only just acquired the gardening skills so we could just do the basics like plant water and harvest right you got those banana trees over there any more babes that need to be planted oh I see some over here cheeky trying to get away yeah this Garden is going to be thriving when it's done Frankie feels a little bit more affection towards his plants than most people do he doesn't really dream of like a partner or a family because to him this is his family right have we planted everything yet no we still have these over here and I think I just saw a slag over here this one needs to be planted as well and then we've got to go around and water them oh Frankie yes we like gardening absolutely are you joking oh level two of the Gardening Skill okay let's water all of our plants we can now research gardening at a computer research individual plants and water plants in the nearby area all right sweet well let's walk to everything that we've got I see that you are getting tired but you're only in the yellow so we'll do this until you're exhausted oh these are already growing oh yeah they are going to blossom into something beautiful oh we've already completed the first half of the uh well the first chunk of his aspiration he's got the botanist aspiration okay we've watered everything Frank go ahead and get some sleep oh I see some Sprouts already okay Energy's full we'll just fill up some of your needs and then we'll get back outside in that Garden but before we do that I think maybe we should utilize something we unlocked with our level two we should research a bit of gardening shouldn't we research gardening you're looking at plants you're right there or do you need some lotion well the only other thing we can do at level two is research so let's research a few of these plants and then hopefully with enough research we'll unlock level three of the Gardening Skill oh that was handy so every time he researches gardening it puts him in a focused mood oh okay maybe we should start every day researching gardening might be worth popping out at some point as well go over to the little garden stand see if we can pick up some fertilizer I can't remember what level we have to be at to unlock the ability to fertilize plants but whenever we do I'd like to have some fertilizer in hand maybe once our garden starts getting impressive we can invite Agnes crumple bottom over I'm sure she'll be impressed level three Frankie finds fun while gardening and can now fertilize plants all right sweet well Frankie oh look there's a little rabbit oh let's go see Agnes oh there's my girl okay buy garden shop items I'm still not entirely comfortable with my understanding of fertilizer though because I've bought fertilizer in the past and haven't been able to use it on certain plants so I'm not sure whether some fertilizers are exclusive to large crops yeah I don't really know what the deal is with that but I guess we'll figure it out grow fast fertilizer super Vitality fertilizer we'll just get a little bit of everything I think okay we've got 43 fertilizers I think let's introduce ourselves to Agnes she's pissed off for some reason no change there ayag but at least we've said hello so we can invite her over at some point maybe we'll after we'll invite her over for sandwiches or scones okay let's test out some of our fertilizer I want to see if I can I'm going to fertilize my banana tree see this is what I was talking about I can fertilize with plants but not actual fertilizer am I just being like a Dopey right now oh this one's ready to evolve oh nice yeah the fertilizers do say that they could be used on any plant quite a few of my plants can be evolved at this point which is pretty good considering we only planted them yesterday this one evolve uh just shows what a little bit of love and tenderness can go with plants both my banana trees have evolved into nice quality oh Frankie there really isn't a lot I can do I know that once we get to level four we unlock full and spring plants which isn't too useful to me because we're in summer I think I can only really get the proper summer plants after I think it's like gardening level six or something but you know what we'll just keep going around fertilizing these girls and just doing what we can do until we get to level four oh I haven't used my little planter boxes I've never used these before maybe we could do a little bit of parsley and a little bit cheeky bit of Basil I'll be glad once we hit the skill level to be able to talk to them and gain socialization from them because I think Frank's getting a little bit lonely all right well why don't you just oh wait what was that socialize chat with Agnes crumple bottom there we go fellow Garden Enthusiast that way we won't feel like we're cheating on our plants oh all my plants are evolving now all right that's probably enough chatting let's just grab a quick meal and then go to the bathroom I want to get to gardening level four before we go to bed tonight all of my plants are nice quality now ah achievement oh yes oh no oh okay yes we did get level four Gardening Skill so I guess somehow we achieved the second part of our aspiration okay what can we do with level four we can now talk to to plants to fulfill the social needs and harvest plants in a nearby area okay well then talk to this baby banana tree oh yeah that social need is going up nice we'll take a shower get some sleep and then get ready for a brand new day all right well it's morning probably time to feed these Pricks no thanks Welcome Wagon I have all the friends I need right here oh look they're so close to needing evolving again this plantain tree is going to evolve again soon don't have any harvestables yet though oh hello it's starting to get a little bit of growth now oh another banana tree ready to evolve why did you need to go in to wash your hands oh you're getting a glass of water I see I see oh level five of the Gardening Skill Frankie can now take cuttings and graph to create hybrid plants oh wait I can buy seasonal seeds oh yes right let's just get 15 won't get too carried away oh we've got loads now okay we can do some some apples cherry tree it we'll do a few cherry trees lemon trees a few blackberries they're nice okay these Planters are getting full but we still have some room I bet by the time we finish planting all of these we'll get to gardening level six let's get a few more seed packets and see if there's anything new in there that we haven't discovered yet getting a bit hungry you could always just eat one of your lemons okay we've got a load of green peppers and some begonias we've got some spare Planters up here okay perfect perfect hmm kind of need the okay we can we could take a maybe we'll eat something and then we'll come back and we'll finish planting and then we'll do our watering just have a sandwich oh and you know what we're going to research gardening as well so we can get you in a focused mood okay sweet and then we will water all oh that looks like it's ready to evolve I think everything's planted oh this flower over here but other than that everything's in the soil we've literally worked through the night so maybe I'll let you get some sleep once you finish watering everything this Garden is looking good so many plants already needing to evolve all right Frank you get some sleep oh bills them bills you get some sleep and I'll see who needs to be evolved oh that blue Bell's excellent quality I'm so proud oh the tomatoes not apples I wondered why it was a bush and not a tree all right you know the drill breakfast toilet shower what do you want Agnes had a great time with Francine Spencer I do not give a bollock about what you do in your spare time Agnes I think we have a lot of stuff to harvest Harvest all nearby plants there we go and we will pay all of our bills maybe we'll try taking a cutting and doing a cheeky bit of grafting I wonder if talking to Patchy will increase my Gardening Skill okay we'll graft a plant graft onto three plant oh I think I might have nearly wait this can't be my entire aspiration can it no okay evolve 10 excellent plants oh level six Frankie is becoming a true agriculturalist and is now able to weed plants in a larger area well I actually haven't had any weeding problems at all not yet anyway no bugs no weeds completed nurture of the freelance botanist I do have a load of stuff I can use to fertilize though I might fertilize my trees oh a lot of my trees are ready to evolve already are you getting tired sorry Frank go get some sleep son you deserve it oh you dirty got yourself covered in Weeds we'll soon sort that out don't worry my plantain trees have all grown anyone else need weeding oh I think you need evolving don't you so many evolving plants never had this kind of luck with plants before Oh you slugs I've got yourself in a mess haven't you let's weed these soon as you finish your porridge Frankie in your own time obviously oh we found a frog oh another frog anyone else need weed in anyone else no maybe we'll have another chat with patch and then once we max out our Gardening Skill we can just get on with our business and then patchy can help maintain the garden well some of these bushes need watering we'll go drench them how many plants have we researched now tomato Cherry green bean Sage plantain Terror root oh well we've researched pretty much everything we've got growing haven't we except the lemon tree but they're taking their sweet sweet time to grow this place is looking fabulous oh how are you still hungry I gave you porridge level seven of the Gardening Skill just have um I don't know fish tacos Frankie can purchase uncommon and Pharmacy packets you can also spray for bugs you might have to buy some more Planters so farmer flowers and fruit we'll get some of that farmer veggies and herbs yes these uncommon plants that's right evolve 10 excellent plants where we've already Evolved four I think we might get that you know okay go to the bathroom and then we'll find out what kind of stuff we've got with these seed packets okay we've got carrots we've got a rose a lot of this stuff I already have yeah hardly any of them even grow in summer but maybe I could like use a rose to fertilize something try and get rid of these plants I don't really need let's just see if we can fertilize everybody can I put one of my frogs on here yeah oh there's my first frog isn't he beautiful and then my second frog where can I put here maybe I could just put him over here next to the bench oh gorgeous they both leaf frogs yeah both leaf frogs okay all right well you can go get some sleep Frank you did real good today and then I'll keep my eyes peeled for any plot plants that might need evolving oh you bad girl look at you covered in Weeds spreading your leaves out like that you were asking to be weeded weren't you anyone else need weeding anyone else oh quite a few of you actually who else has been up to no good I think that's everybody oh you know what I should do I need to keep remembering to do this I need to remember to research my gardening put me in a focused mood oh we found another frog is it just the same frog I'm guessing we're just gonna get the same type of frog here yeah leaf frog I'm gonna try not to sell my flowers because I'm thinking about making a part two where we just do a ton of flower arranging we've got so much stuff to harvest now oh these plants are so pretty oh I'm seeing a load of sparkles I think some people are ready to evolve some people some bushes are ready to evolve maybe I have another little chit chat with patchy okay let's see is there anything we haven't done so far that we've unlocked through building these skills purchase uncommon and farmer seeds yeah we did that we haven't needed to spray for bugs yet but I will keep my eyes peeled yeah weed plants in a larger area Okay the bugs thing is going to be a right pain in the ass because they're going to be so difficult to spot in this massive garden they're coming soon maybe you should think twice about opening the door hang up I've got time for that God I hate people oh level eight Frankie can now overgrow pruned bonsai trees to reshape them we're also able to supercell okay let's get a bonsai tree then oh we got some growth on these trees my cherry trees seeing a little bit of a slow down though with Evolution not evolving as many plants as we were in the beginning right well as soon as your needs are pretty good why waste time sleeping let's research some gardening get focused have a chat with patch pay some attention to our ladies oh we've unlocked the scarecrow outfit okay I'm gonna take some cuttings from all of these cherry trees and try and graft them onto my bell pepper bushes oh there's my supercell I can sell everything okay brilliant oh I'm seeing some flies a little bit of Maintenance needed here now this banana tree is looking a bit worse for wear isn't it any more bugs around here no okay I think we've got all the bugs loads of plants need weeding though we've got all the weeding done yeah I think so God this really is a full-time job now this Garden's starting to come alive we're already at gardening level what gardening level eight or nine oh almost at gardening level nine God we are powering through this Gardening Skill yeah level nine Frankie continues to improve his gardening Mastery and can now tend to the Garden efficiently doing all the watering weeding and bug spraying at once oh great well tent Garden tend away my friend we still have our bonsai tree that we can about with as well no plants need tending at the moment okay great well let's get researching then power our needs doing oh absolutely fine you wouldn't have thought we've just spent hours tending our garden would you all right we'll just do a bit of like grafting and then we will prune what should we do waterfall let's go for a waterfall shape oh look I finally came to life patchy how's it going bro looking good looking good oh this is the acquired the flower arranging skill okay but he is still building the Gardening Skill though okay so now he can regrow the foliage I see I see that's one of the things we unlocked at was it level eight or level seven I can't remember all right Frank go get some sleep you've done a day's worth of gardening so take it easy on yourself and I'll keep my eyes out for any Sparkles if anyone's ready to evolve oh it looks like when he wakes up he's gonna need a little as well oh actually I can tell that it's been six days because we started on day six of 28. oh I think I'm seeing some sparkles over here oh yeah there we go evolve fabulous well we're on top of all of our tending so I guess we'll just have a chat to all of our plants already 47 through to um guarding level 10. I have so much in my inventory I just kind of want to use it up on fertilizing these maybe that's why I haven't seen much Evolution because I haven't been fertilizing them as regularly as I could do oh no this plant's died oh sad I hope they don't all die okay quite a few of my plants have developed flies and weeds so I will so I will just tend to them I keep forgetting that all I have to do is just tent and I don't have to individually do weed and water anymore oh he's almost at gardening level 10 we've almost maxed out the Gardening Skill and it's only taken a week seven days that is crazy this has actually been pretty fun I've quite enjoyed this I found this video to be very relaxing I feel like I want to go curl up on the sofa with a blanket now kind of reminds me of um you know like with the wellness skill when you watch SIMS get pampered it just makes you feel really relaxed I kind of feel that way about gardening I think just because of the Stillness the birds singing you know what's wrong oh you have to use the bathroom okay fine you can you can did you manage to tend all of them everybody good everyone good yeah I think so I think everyone's doing pretty good okay we'll just have a quick meal and I'm not gonna let you go to sleep because I don't like the routine we've got going on where we work all night so we're going to take a nap instead ah finally my lemon trees have grown okay let's take a cutting of a lemon tree and see if we can make a lemon and Cherry combined tree have we got a dead plant already oh you've only just grown lemon tree this is really upsetting me the amount of plants that are dying that's two plants I've lost now what a joke do I have any more lemons in my inventory yes okay we're gonna replant that lemon tree maybe it's because I took a cutting from it before I should have maybe I don't know I really do oh wait like what percentage are we 99 complete we are we are going to max out this skill easily yes perfectionist sure we've mastered the Gardening Skill Frankie is now the ultimate Gardener he's able to purchase rare seed packets each containing one of the most exclusive most expensive plants found anywhere all right let's take a look at what kind of rare seeds we can get then rare plants a thousand simoleons um let's get five I bet there'll be like cow plant seeds maybe I doubt we'll get a money tree because I think that's supposed to be like exclusively a reward isn't it I think we'll def have we just essentially just unlocked the cow plant oh we've got grow fruit isn't that what turns you into a plant Sim and then magic beans oh pomegranate so we have three magic beans a pomegranate and a grow fruit took seven days to max out the Gardening Skill whilst also taking care of our needs that was pretty fun it's nice to take a break from the storylines and just focus on Mindless building gameplay for a change so on that note I'm gonna end this video here thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed it if you did please like And subscribe you know I love it when you do that and I'll see you in the next video bye bye foreign [Music]
