oh god wow I can't believe it these photos are incredible yeah I'm a bit over the top I just oh my life was only me and my mother when I was about eight or nine we sat in the bedroom and yeah she just said look it's been on my mind many years ago before you were born I had a baby but the B we weren't allowed to keep the baby and I know sad really do you remember how you felt Viv when your mom sat you down and said you've got a sister do you do you remember that [Music] moment I do actually and was so surreal couldn't believe it really always wanted a sister I used to say to Mom why can't I have a sister or a brother you know and um there it was I had one but no no chance of find her I'm 72 years of age it's important to me now not wasting any more time I just want to try and find her it would just be so wonderful you Clos you wouldn't it today viven and Mark have come to find out if Chi can give them any answers about her missing sister so we do have your results back and I can tell you we got a really interesting first match who is a distant cousin really yeah so when I'm building out their family tree and looking at their family tree they have somebody in their tree called Veronica really so what we did was we got in contact with the family yeah and asked if one of them could take a DNA test just to confirm that this was your sister and it was oh god wow I can't believe it yeah your sister was given to a couple who adopted her they probably had no idea she was taken from your mom oh gosh she grew up in Dublin she married a chap called Joseph and had three children oh wow I didn't expect this you okay yeah yeah so she's still called Veronica she was called Veronica okay she's passed away yeah I'm so sorry no it's 1971 oh gosh she was 25 she was incredibly young she left a very young family that's terrible yeah that's sad but I I'm still so pleased to have a story yeah family I'm going to draw you at a family tree there's Veronica there Joseph their son David David and he is the one who very kindly agreed to take a DNA test for us that's Joseph Jr yeah and that's Teresa so you're an auntie and you're a great auntie they have children you have suddenly got quite a lot of family unbelievable oh Mom be so pleased you're doing okay yeah I'm fine I'm just pleased you found found her really oh I can't thank you enough you're so clever no problem thank you hi Stacy I can't believe it I can't believe it's good news sad not bit of sweet but [Music] beautiful would you like to see a photo of your sister wow oh my goodness yeah it's Veronica your sister gosh you can see she's cared for and love though can't you is she lovely she's Immaculate that little coat know so you're Veronica your sister um she had three children okay or the children and this is them David David Joseph Teresa w wow cousins that's right that's right yeah wow look at that wow can still see mommy there she's got very much her bone structure oh wow can't believe it well well we've been in contact with them right and they've actually sent an email right other oh wow I don't if I can read it canart read cuz I've not got my glasses on and I'm a bit emotional to okay you ready y hi Vivian I hope this finds you well my name is David I am the oldest of three Brother Joseph and sister Teresa we have eight children between us gosh our mother grew up within a very loving family uh we were told that she was a fantastic Aaron nit none of us had any idea that our mother was adopted and it came as a bit of a shock but on digesting information I realized that this has given us a reconnection to our mother I would be more than happy to keep in touch if you so wish to kind regards David that's wonderful it's lovely that they want to know me as well cuz it could have turned out the other way a few weeks ago I'd never even seen a photograph of my sister but now I'm about to meet three of her children for the first time oh [Music] you oh hello lovely hello oh can't believe it let's open it more let's do another page [Music]
