What Damage did HAIL cause on the Tesla Cybertruck?

it's hailing and we're in the Cyber it's not really big hail yet though we were going to go to the fish store but it's hailing okay we got cyber truck vers hail we're going to summon it oh my baby actually it's steel so I don't really care oh he's lightning up I told Scott to drive it it started okay so we got to the car someone's a little wetter than others um but check out like all the hail is just like piled so much on that wiper in the bottom of the windshield um but like that's all the hail you can see it on that car too I I think we're probably unscathed I don't know about these other cars but we got a stainless steel body so if I took a sledgehammer to it and it didn't bust I doubt this little hail's going to do anything but the glass is my only fear but it looks like everything's fine but doesn't look like there's enough like pressure on the wiper on the the wiper yeah cuz see like it's not going down all the way H yeah so we're just waiting on some of this to defog a bit and then we're going to drive away but I mean I I think this is exactly what I expected I don't think there's anything weird what what I'm just the water like well that's because you ran from the fish store here yeah and then somebody was sitting in my chair when I in my seat oh somebody's SP by it was Scot no there's some no right there the hail yeah it's not I mean it is maybe it's Las your water but look at like all the hail on your like glass and stuff huh well I guess we'll drive away shortly okay we'll came down within a couple minutes but it's wind well they could use their when I was trying to clear off this it was like all solid I had to like push it off to the side because it like froze together yep but yeah this just all happen within a couple minutes I mean it's 44° outside you can't really see it I mean yeah you know this would be like a great tornado chaser car not doing that great of a job here in the middle though I mean it's got I mean I can see yeah but look at all this stuff it's not even touching there's like ice on it it's like frozen H but they're just trying to figure out maybe they're just pulling over because they can't see or something like that but no a lot of people are sliding out because look at them oh yeah they might not be able to get up how much tails on the ground it's like yeah oh look at this guy or did he go there to try to like get Shel over oh wait did his glass break no clear wind yeah it's just so heavy we can go like here and we can that's do that again don't go too fast oh look look look oh no I just shot a whole roof moving forward was cool oh wow okay I just stopped we went a little way um we still got hail all up in here maybe this could have dented but hopefully not but look at all that hail and then this looks good the front though uh-oh it's all a solid piece of ice just kind of realized this could potentially be a problem if it snows but I mean that's for like any Tano so it doesn't matter but he's going to open the Tano cover oh no oh no oh oh that actually is cool it's like as oh it's like ASM oh that was a hell of a thump it's like ASMR oh sorry wow this works out really really well so like I mentioned I wanted to give it a few days so everything can kind of dry out we can take a light to it now let's first thing first start with the glass you can see here besides a few bugs the glass was unscathed which honestly was expected I don't see any kind of cracks or anything like that I mean edges are normally where stuff like that can occur everything looks pretty unscathed that's a dead bug um I don't see anything here that screams broken none of the plastic trim on this side or the other side looks to have any issues now when it comes to the actual panels I have this like really bright light here that will help us see any kind of issues we're going to turn it this way just a little bit though um not seeing any issues here I would expect it mainly on like the frunk and stuff if we're going to see anything I mean I'm not seeing any dimples or anything like that no I really went over the vehicle obviously it's a little harder to show like everything but especially on this black you can see everything is uniform nothing looks dimpled nothing like that so it appears the stainless steel did wonderful love that now how about the black trim pieces so I'm not seeing any like dimples or anything in here obviously a little dirty is what it is how about the mirror caps not really seeing any issue there more black trim pieces not seeing any issue now we kind of already looked at this black trim piece while we up this is aluminum though these nothing really oh in the wrap though you can see some of the wrap took it on this like hard Edge right here where it probably got nailed by some hail only a few marks like one right here one right here some here so I mean not too much but it looks like it almost kind of like cut through it now this whole piece looks to be just fine no issues there no issues on any of this piece so that's great no issues a here on this now this side I'm not feeling any issue on so that's interesting oh well I guess there's a little ding or something like right here but like the plastic pieces actually appear really good that's just bug guts so we won't worry about that um I don't really see any other issues all this is still smooth this piece is good charge port door check it works so we're good there it's mainly like these like flat surfaces that aim upwards that I would think would show anything but again not seeing anything on this either besides some dirt now part of the Cyber Tru actually isn't working as intended and I'm not sure if it's because maybe some water intrusion or maybe something else I did just have it serviced to fix some of the issues that happened at delivery uh but I don't think there's anything back here they would have had to deal with uh if you want to see more about the delivery stuff I'll link it up in the iard this guy originally wasn't working just wouldn't come down but the tono would work then none of the buttons would work here I can still open it and close both the Tano and the lift gate in the app and in the vehicle so at least there's that but these buttons just all stopped working and then last night they all started working now today that works lovely but Mr Tano cover is still not working so something is going on with the electronics here because the ual Tano cover works I'll show you so it says it's open if I hit close you can see it's closing it works I just these buttons aren't working so I don't know if there's water intrusion or what I already did a service request so hopefully we can get that fixed now I wouldn't recommend doing this but you can actually just pop this off just make sure you grab any clips that fly perhaps if we just disconnect this let it sit for a minute and then reconnect it it'll start working um that's kind of how that looks so I just disconnected it and uh it's just right under here just obviously don't bend this up too much cuz we don't want to like crease it okay been a few minutes we're going to go and plug this back in I'm looking and it does look like it is waterproof so maybe this had nothing to do with the hail and just bugged out I don't know but like looking at these wires they I mean they're a little Dusty on the outside but the connector looks to be waterproof still okay so we're good there I'm going to go ahead and snap this all back [Music] in let's see though if uh the tailgate would still work oh no we don't have that either so just did the double scroll wheel reset and I confirmed on the center screen I was able to toggle this and I was able to drop this so let's go ahead put this back up it does pull it back in so that's good but now there's nothing here something's up with this and I'm not sure if it was because the rain or what um I would assume this piece is in there pretty waterproof we've had rain before we've driven through rain but I mean that hail was pretty brutal and did go down here obviously cuz we saw some of this wrap was torn up actually there's another piece what's weird though is that it is working sometimes just not every time so I don't know I'll go ahead and I do already have another service ticket open for that so we'll see what they say and I'll go ahead and update this video down in the comment section I'll just do like a pinned comment with what the outcome is I would imagine it would be pretty simple I don't think there's anything probably wrong with the wiring harness my guess would be maybe they just need to replace these buttons cuz maybe the buttons just themselves like aren't triggering or something because obviously the mechanisms still work from the center screen in the phone app so there's not that big of a problem I don't know it was just kind of an interesting cybertruck verse hail we just freak storm that we got caught in so just wanted to kind of make this video showing how it dealt with uh no glass issues no body issues the only issue is yeah this tono and liftgate button which I'm not entirely sure what even happened
