it's always beautiful to have a walk in a morning  In Paya and enjoy some sun but sometimes things   don't go according to the plan and [ __ ] happens  so in today's Vlog I'm going to give you some tips   and advices so that you can avoid scams if you  want to enjoy your vacation especially in [Music] p [Music] now before I start to give you my tips  and how to avoid scams or mistakes In Paya while   booking hotels let me tell you what happened  with us so as usual we wanted to spend some   time In Paya and before couple of days of the  trip I searched for hotels checked the prices   the high and low and in my mind was a hotel in  central Paya on the Beach Road and as a vlogger   I wanted to try a new hotel not cheap and not  so expensive so I found one nice location nice   pcks many room choices seems all [Music] perfect  okay I chose the room with Ocean View including   breakfast and the total price for one night was  3,300 tpot cool for the location and the Peaks   it's an okay price although I have better  rooms than these with less than this price   but as I said I want to try a new hotel all  right we have packed our stuff and head to patea so this is the hotel and yes  the location was as mentioned on   the Beach Road perfect it was almost  checkin time so no delays let's check in check this out guys luxury really beautiful  I want to show you a little bit around before   we check in so that you can see how things  are nice once you enter this hotel wherever   you look clean and neat gold decorations nice  places to sit a pool table bar and this must   be the restaurant for breakfast to amazing you  have private places to sit and eat and even the   toilet is luxury golden tabs to wash your hands  I'm sure if this is the lobby how about our room   excited let's go and check in book uh from today  Che out tomorrow check out one night is breakfast   I have for two person so we have your email  and your signature please have okay we have   paid 3,300 tibot and 1,000 tbot deposit and now  our room is on the 10th floor I'm sure must be   fantastic let's [Music] go now here starting from  the elevator you can feel that things are not the   same like we saw in the main entrance well anyway  who cares about the elevator if it smells bad and   the glass is not clean or maybe the floor is not  right and the door opens late what matters is the [Music] room so this is our room seems a cozy  room although the furniture is old but it's   okay you have everything RS coffee making machine  safe box refrigerator anyway first impression is [Music] good check the bedroom awful  not even clean dirt everywhere see here   no comment or shall I comment wherever  you look is dirty this is not a hostel   or a hotel for 800 tibot although  you can get better with that price   and I will show you after we check this  room stay with me cuz the best is yet to come all right in the refrigerator you have  hairs maybe complimentary with the state so   I'm curious now to check more and see how can  we spend a night here this is on the upper   side of the TV you cannot see here if you are  not tall but you can use a chair and check it right oh my check the dust maybe no one  cleaned here for a long time and here   is the best surprise what is this wrap in a  tissue another complimentary [Music] surprise   yes guys why to buy someone hidden those  stuff I don't know for what reason behind   the TV and no mate found it till now  because they don't clean behind the TV and here you can start checking more the  walls all dirty the ground everything I mean   what happened to that impression once we entered  inside this Hotel the plugs are broken you will   try hard to plug the charger check the bed and  yes it's so hard and not comfortable dirt on the [Music] walls this is the balcony we got  an awesome view nice view with extra views   of the roofs around old is not a problem for  me but not clean check here how can you sit   what the heck is this the air condition is so  noisy check the noise even when you close the door okay now I will not go into more details  but start talking about such scams you can face   even if you pay high prices and check  the paks even some unre reviews about   the hotels they don't go into details so  what are my advices to you in order to   avoid such scams [Music] first guys I will  show you in the previous month some of the   hotels that I have stayed and I paid  less than this one and what I got in [Music] return Grand Plaza Hotel  a five-star hotel 2500 tiot per   night including breakfast let me show  you the room you can see how clean   how big with a good view although  we are not on the beach but it's [Music] nice hotel and Resident Arden  one of my favorite places check this   room luxury clean wherever you look or  check in detail details lovely and yes   the price is less 2,300 tibot per night  including breakfast nice pool and lovely [Music] amenities I will even tell you that I  have paid 800 tbot including breakfast   to this hotel I have stayed one night  and it was much better than [Music] this many hotels I've stayed and reviewed less or  more expensive always you should get what you   pay for it so what you should do in this case  a scam yes not a mistake a scam how would you   know the room is like this when you have paid  3,300 [Music] tyot [Music] first thing you   have to do after checking your room and see  that is not what you have expected is to go   down ask them to give you another room the one  that you have paid for clean and acceptable if   not you ask them to refund your money and  tell them you will report the case that's   how to avoid such downgrade room scams that  usually happens in the High [Music] season second always check the honest reviews and  the comments on the sites before you book   especially the latest ones it doesn't mean  if you pay more and get the best room like   we did the ocean view you will be satisfied  sometimes the cheaper is much [Music] better   Third never accept complimentary upgrades  like they will will say to you we will   upgrade you for free because that means  the room you have booked is not free and   they will give you another room most of  the time it's worse than the one you have   booked unless the hotel is honest so check  the upgraded room before you fall in the [Music] Trap so guys I wanted to share with  this because it's not the first time and the   last time but as usual in my channel I like  to show you the truth and share with you my   experience that's why we are here and  this thing should not happen from some   hotels that spoil the good image of  tourism in Thailand one thing never   accept less get your rights and if you
