What Can $100 Get in the PHILIPPINES ??

[Music] let me go [Music] so I travel I'd say I travel a lot but what some people don't know is how affordable traveling can be especially for myself where my course of living traveling is typically much cheaper than if I were back home in New York City so in this video I want to show you just how far a hundred US dollars can go as I travel here in the Philippines I just made it to palawan in Puerto Princesa and someone that I've always wanted to go is this place right here El Nido but the only thing is it's kind of a journey and an adventure to get to so I just flew here from Cebu and now I have to find a van or bus that can take me six hours to el nido it's a very remote place I don't think there's Wi-Fi or any internet but this this is why I came to the Philippines try go to el nido yes how many persons are named just one okay now just join me they're grouped by a fully air-conditioned man okay five hours travel to El Nino and these two regular costs okay okay follow me this was the easier literally just walk right outside the airport and you guys are there waiting for me and it's a good thing we can still give you discounts do you have to take the promotion okay oh oh hey good morning everyone the Philippines is so friendly Bart gret bark-like Bart Simpson I'm Brett Brett Oh like Bret comedy yes yes yes [Music] alright guys so I just made it here to el nido and on the bend right down I found a hostel for eleven US dollars per night on hostile world so I just checked in to our melting pot here right by the beach [Music] [Applause] [Music] so the hostel is right here and and then just half a block away you have the most beautiful beach in the world [Applause] [Music] and another thing I did come to ritzy ill-prepared here to the Philippines like all I have left after getting corn the rainstorm our deport shorts and then these shoes so I don't have any sandals I need a new bathing suit and maybe some other accessories so I'm gonna try and go shopping and see we can get perky see how much other shirts how much are the sunglasses so let's see what we got also I just wanted to say that 50 pesos is equivalent to one dollar so first of all I bought this bag for 250 pesos which is five US dollars neither this bag since tomorrow I'm gonna go on a boat excursion and needed something more waterproof just in case everything falls in the ocean let's see what's inside so I got some sandals I got these supreme Luis Vuitton sandals for 200 pesos so for $4 I got these sandals in America this would be like a thousand then I got some shorts also for 200 pesos what's up guys I don't think they see too many bloggers out here and also for 200 pesos I got a new pair of board shorts ooh and it's the vogue a classic collection shoes fashion style and then I even trying to go shading but the guy brought it down just when I asked I got these these Ray Ban sunglasses for a hundred fifty pesos so three bucks all right time to eat so I just did some walking around and I found this spot right on one of the main roads and they have chicken burritos 420 pesos which is equivalent to about two dollars and forty cents so the woman is making it right now and let's see how this two dollars and forty cents burrito kids so for two dollars and 40 cents right by the beach and they'll need a look at this amazing burrito Oh Appetit so the best part about being a youtuber is definitely the community and how easy and how awesome it is to meet up with other youtubers since actually when I was researching traveling the Philippines I found a youtuber by the name of Finn snow and it just so happened that we have a bunch of mutual friends and he is now here in El Nido so I am on my way to go meet up with Finn and hopefully get some drinks and show you guys how cheap it is to go out for drinks here in the Philippines let's go meet up with fit go sir this was three dollars together so guys I just met up with mr. Vince snow hey nice to meet you buddy I know you're the best spot in Philippines northern Paulo on this is a great spot you saw me that meet in here at the heart cafe where you can get a rum and coke and a beer for three u.s. dollars which is insane and Finn is now living in the Philippines what made you one of them here besides being so cheap this is the prices but I didn't plan to live here but I fell in love with the people and the nature and the culture of course so if he chose me that is a good if you haven't already go check out fitness channel subscribe say what's up and yeah we're going to enjoy this side out [Music] [Music] [Music] I'm about to call it a night but I didn't rate you guys this before I head off the bed but all of the clubs all the bars are right here on the beach so you have this beautiful ocean right here as you're enjoying your party so I'm off the bed but I'll see you guys tomorrow for an epic adventure that is so foggy this is gonna be so hard to film it keeps walking up every two seconds but good morning and welcome back to the beautiful El Nido Philippines so last night Finn and I had a couple more drinks and I spent about another five US Dollars and then this morning I just bought these sandals because those supreme Louis Vuitton one to my toe so I bought these for $4 and now I just did the math quickly and I believe we have spent 58 US dollars so far so we have 42 dollars left and now Finn and some of his friends I don't know many of these people but they all are bloggers and so grammars and YouTube's youtubers and they invited me to go on a private boat with them and they said it would only be about twenty dollars per person so we're about to have an epic day all for twenty dollars we have such a beautiful day here in El Nido and this is our boat right here and let's introduce you guys to the squad droning I'm putting you on the spot now yes you do an introduction Oh ready what the heck my name is Jordan I'm travelling and yeah you can hang out with me today he also has a very awesome meme account suisa a lifestyle influencer I'm not I promise you do not judge me on what you see on that account does it look like my life is better than everyone else's let me have a look no that's my wrong side you have to get high I'm dumb okay don't explore sand I do Instagram I hear and this is his girlfriend fiance fiance I'm Jess I'm backpack with me I'm a grammar yeah I like animals I'm Kay this is olya Co travelers and you guys met Finn yesterday hey what's up guys go check out my channel if you wanted to know anything about the Philippines Finn's no that's actually how I found Finn like two days before I left I searched how to travel to philippines his videos popped up and now we're going on a boat [Music] so we just made a - location like his own mic is on we are here at this small Lagoon realize that we have five drones so there's no crash [Music] so we're sketching a ride on the boat to the next destination oh now we just meet to another Lagoon and we are gonna rent some kayaks how much are they how much is the kayak 300 pesos so we just got the connects for about six US dollars and now I'll whack the GoPro but now we are heading into this crystal clear turquoise Gatorade looking water but this just seriously looks so on [Music] so included with the $20 for this private boat tour it also I didn't even know this comes with a delicious lunch with by the best view you could ever ask for [Music] then we spent the rest of the afternoon going to small islands around all of El Nido these islands were truly something out of a fairy tale and could not believe how much we had to see for just $20 [Music] Oh I need food feeling much better now so for just over 20 US dollars we had one of the most memorable days I think I've ever had we got to go to about five or six of these different islands where they had the secret cave they had all these other lagoons we got the kayak and it even came with that lunch that I did not know about but now I am exhausted that was literally a oh one day that was probably about almost nine hours that we were out there on the boat in the Sun a little sunburned but now I just found a new hotel this time for $14 so last night when I got here to the hotel I honestly laid down thinking that I was gonna get back up and be able to show you guys the room but I ended up passing out at like 8:30 p.m. so here we are the next day in this $14 per night el nido hotel which is insane since this is only four or five blocks away from the last hotel so still very close to the center of the city and very close to the beach so for about three or four more dollars from my last place which was a hostel and shared it with eight other people now I can have my own private room with a big bed so welcome to the tour here you'll have the bathroom the toilet actually doesn't work I'm not gonna even open that up but no complaints there but there is a mirror to make sure we're looking good for the Filipinos two great ropes and it did say that it was going to come with AC which it did it just doesn't work but I got this nice fan so no complaints truthfully this is probably the best deal I've ever gotten and again we're in El Nino which is somewhere that I would consider one of the most beautiful places in the world so you can come here and get your own private room 414 US dollars and even if you're traveling with a friends you guys can split it and then be paying seven dollars per night but yes very happy with this room so for one hundred dollars we got a seven-hour bus ride two nights in a hotel a bag supreme flip-flops a bathing suit meals for three days sunglasses a smoothie going out with a friend and getting beers and running four dollar sandals another pair of sandals a private boat going to some of the most beautiful islands in the world rented a kayak and now today I am gonna probably not spend much money and hang out here on the beach here in El Nido so I hope you guys can see that you can travel to some of the most beautiful places in the world more specifically in Southeast Asia South America and some parts of Europe and even America and you could spend a hundred dollars and get so much out of it everyone thinks that the people who travel are privileged but they don't know that we're staying in ten dollar night hotels and it's actually way cheaper for me to be here in the Philippines than to be back in New York City so that's gonna be it for this video and now I'm trying to decide where I go next from here in El Nido since a storm is coming and I was going to go to a place called shower go but now that might interfere with my flight back to America next week so I will see you guys next time from I don't know but until then remember to get out and get busy and enjoy life [Music] Oh [Music]
