What $1,000 Can Get You In Dallas, Tx | Apartment Tour

hey everyone so welcome back to my channel as you can see from the title today i am doing an apartment tour but it's not for me it's for you so i've been getting a lot of questions people asking me about different apartments for different prices things of that nature so i wanted to um give y'all a more i guess you can say broaden range of what's available here in dallas so as you can see from the title today we're doing videos um i'm sorry today we're doing we're doing tours for places a thousand dollars and under um i only have two scheduled today so this video may be broken up into two separate days i'm not exactly sure yet but again these apartments are not for me these are strictly for y'all i'm going to be giving y'all apartments for um different price ranges from under a thousand up until luxury um so stay tuned for that make sure y'all subscribe down below if y'all would like to see that right now i'm actually at the second place i didn't really get to film um an intro going into the first place but i'm at the second place here and it's called forest ridge apartments my tour isn't until 1 30 and it's actually 12 40 right now so your girl is super early so yeah that's what we're going to be doing today um i hope you are like yeah i hope y'all liked this video i'm going to be giving y'all angles of the outside the exterior of the apartments the inside amenities everything so i'm going to do the best i can to give y'all as much footage because i know a lot of y'all are planning on why do i keep saying y'all i know a lot of y'all are planning to move to dallas or the surrounding areas so i'm just going to be showing a little variation but yeah um that's that on that and i'll see y'all when we go inside so the first apartment we're going to be touring is at post kohl's corner and this apartment is a studio it is 494 square feet it's really not as small as it sounds to be honest but i believe how everything is so like kind of compacted in the way it gives it a lot more space so as you can see all of the appliances are stainless steel in here it's pretty much updated nice modern touch we have the flat surface stove going on which is very cute um theirs actually looks better than mine but anyway so we have the i believe it's faux granite counter countertops and um i'm just going to step back a bit so that you can see the entire perspective from the doorway and get a whole glimpse of the entire apartment so this is what you're going to be getting then we're going to go and go into the bathroom pretty simple it has that counter above that counter the cabinet above the toilet which sometimes i find this weird but you know to each his own this is not for me this is a very simple bathroom area it has a toilet your shower and tub it's not really modern but it gets the job done it'll get you clean that's really all you need so if you're on a budget you're looking for something under a thousand dollars this is something that you can expect things won't be as you know fancy schmancy as they may be if your budget is you know a couple hundred more so simple vanity sink we're going to be heading into the living room and bedroom area here again this is a studio at 494 feet so i'm sorry square feet so this is all that you're going to be getting there are no extra bedrooms so the bed can probably go i would say maybe towards that wall there but you know to each his own you would fix it how you would want but i would say this is perfect for someone who's a single young adult um you know no children this is enough space for you uh to live here alone by yourself then we have the closet here so um as you can see the hot water heater is also in here it's a decent closet space i don't think anything is necessarily wrong with it but yeah that's simply put it's just a closet [Music] so i just like to show the thermostat i don't know why it just you know this one is a regular regular one though but sometimes you know they're a little more digital so i feel like people like to see things like that and these are the light fixtures in the kitchen [Music] and then we have the i think it's called the gooseness goose neck sink and cabinet space i'm just showing y'all how that is in there so i'm just giving one last overview of the apartment before we head upstairs to the next unit [Music] [Music] so so i also wanted to show y'all some footage of the actual apartment complex as well if you're like me i'm sure this is something that's very important to you i like to know what i'm going to be walking through what that looks like things of that nature so i just decided to go ahead and get some footage of that these are the hallways of the apartment building and as you can see um they're pretty much just very simple uh nothing really too spectacular about it there is a stairwell in case you like to use that and they are on the interior of the apartment almost got caught in the elevator but let's not talk about that and this is the inside of the elevator we're gonna head up to the fourth floor so upstairs we headed to the apartment this one here is actually over a thousand so i'm not sure why this was on my list for touring however being that we did look at it let's just talk about it anyway so this one here is a one bedroom one bath traditional style apartment it comes in at 679 square feet [Music] [Music] as you can see there are some subtle differences between this apartment and the one that was downstairs the stove is different however the appliances are still stainless still and we have darker granite countertops which is still cute i think i actually prefer this gray over the other here you have your white cabinets still and sorry this is actually the washroom we have wash and dryer in here i did not ask if it's included in every apartment but it wasn't this one so we head into the living room and as you can see there is carpet all over the place you also have a fireplace here and a bar [Music] and you have a nice window there if you know me and you watch my previous apartment tours i am big on window space so this is the size of the living room here i believe you can fit a couch and maybe a chair or two with like two end tables and a coffee table [Music] now we're in the bedroom and i've noticed with this bedroom it's more long than it is wide so i would not suggest trying to put a large bed here i honestly wouldn't go over a full size with the queen you may be pushing it but i feel like it is doable light switches are you know light switches they're different but and there's a window here i really did love this window space in the bedroom uh like i said the room is very long so i would be cautious about the size bed you want to put in here the bathroom apparently is larger than the one from the previous unit there's a bigger mirror the shower and tub seems to be bigger and you do have like a jacuzzi style tub here tiling and everything is still the same everything is really the same except you have more of um a larger vanity area of course in the bathroom and your closet is actually in the bathroom versus in the kitchen area like the other one [Music] so this is actually some more footage of how like the hallways look heading outside of the apartment these doors as you can see are on the exterior so you have a more direct access to outside with brick walkways and things of that [Music] nature [Music] [Music] okay so let's go ahead and head to apartment two the next complex we're gonna be touring is forest ridge apartments and i'm just showing y'all the exterior of the building this one was not a self-guided tour i did have the agent with me so you'll be seeing her throughout the video the first unit that i did tour is the a1 unit and these are 550 square feet ranging from 819 to 869 dollars a month so this is the living room area this stage and we did have a guest as you can see i don't do cats but i was not about to touch it i'ma let her handle that so let's go ahead and finish this tour so here's the dining room area here nice simple you know straight to the point and of course i love this window space so i wanted to get that there was a an alarm built into the wall here i'm not sure if it's like that in every apartment but it was here we have some black appliances black fridge some very dark cabinets and the backsplash that i really liked and here's the stove flat top stove i'm not sure if that's the thing here in dallas but a lot of apartments that i've seen have flat top stoves [Music] so [Music] as you can see the kitchen area is very narrow i don't think this is necessarily a place to have like kids and stuff running behind you in the kitchen because it is so narrow but that's just me personally you do as you please this is the cabinet pantry area here so you do get a lot of space outside of the cabinets on the wall we're going to be heading to the bathroom next and there is a nice size vanity here um lights above the window not the window the mirror as you can see and it's just a standard bathroom um nothing too special about it um it gets the job done you can use the bathroom you can wash it behind wash your hands call it a day so it's nothing really too special about it but we're gonna head to the bedroom now and i believe that is a full-size bed in there so you can get kind of a perspective on the size here's the closet area which to me is a decent size um that is also in the bedroom as well and there is no light in the bedroom to me personally that's a little odd but you're either gonna have to get lamps or rely on sunlight but again to each zone maybe that's your thing um i was just showing y'all a view of the outside of your window if you were to get a unit on the first floor so the apartment does come with a balcony area kind of struggled a little bit to get out but anyway the balconies are kind of porched in i guess you can call it and there's also a storage closet on the balcony which is right here so if you have some things that you want to just store instead of buying a storage you'll have that already with your apartment and this is the view of this particular apartment the tennis court here and yeah i thought it was pretty cool nice little tennis court area just showing y'all some more of the exterior of the apartment and we're heading to another unit so this unit here is the a2 model in the apartment these are one bedroom one bath as well at 704 square feet and the price ranges between 869 to 964 dollars per month so there's pretty much not much to say here it's almost the same as the previous unit it's just clearly more space and also in the kitchen you have stainless steel appliances compared to the black ones in model a1 [Music] [Music] knockout [Music] so as you can see the kitchen area is very similar to the first the only differences that i noted were the cabinets which were a more cherry colored uh type of wood versus the dark cabinets in the previous kitchen you still have the same pantry area here and i did find that the kitchen had a tad bit more room than the previous apartment we've made our way into the bedroom and it's really simple it's not much to say you have a window in here uh just like the very first apartment that i toured i find that this bedroom is more like longitudinal that's the word but this is the closet area here and we're heading into the bathroom very much so self-explanatory so yeah i'm just going to stop talking unless i see something different but i'll let y'all go ahead and view the [Music] unit [Music] we're heading to another unit and i saw the pool area so i just wanted to show y'all that because i know that is important to some people and there are no washers and dryers in the actual units but there is a washroom so i just wanted to show y'all a glimpse of that okay it parish from the future here as i was editing this i realized that i deleted
