West Point Class of 2024 Infantry Post Night

hello my name's Captain Jonathan D Bianca and I'm the Infantry Branch representative here at the United States Military Academy West points post night is a time-honored tradition this year 244 Cadets who branched infantry will pick their first Army Post during post night infantry cadetes select ANL order from 16 available posts including posts across the continental United States Alaska Hawaii Germany and Italy without further Ado follow me and let's check out post [Music] night all righty ladies and gentlemen welcome welcome welcome to the class of 2024 infantry post night tonight represents 43 plus months of hard work and I am excited to help each and every one of you take that next Giant sent step in your future Service as second lieutenants in our United States Army displayed along the stage are cards representing Brigade level assignments and stickers displaying school dates for infantry basic officer leader Course once your name's called you'll have 30 seconds to make your post and unit selection followed by your bolock preference please keep in mind that each one of these cards displayed before you represents 30 to 40 soldiers all wearing the same unit patch each with a different story these men and women are waiting for your arrival and more importantly your leadership so are we ready to begin I can feel the energy I can feel it right you all are just chomping ready to rock and roll right so let's first start off off by unveiling the intent to marry service Member Program so this year perfect man just stand by the the microphone all right I'll move to yall so this year 18 couples across usma all right we're talking across yma 18 cou from 12 different branches opted into the intent to marry service Member Program in order to coordinate for the first unit of assignment prior to being eligible for the military army couples program or macp posts were assigned based on this year's order of Merit list and last year's postn night selection results so up on the stage right it's already reflects what's already in those envelopes all right so at this time the Super intendent is going to hand out those envelopes to our intent tomary service
