Well guys I rented a Vermeer SC70TX Stump Cutter

all right guys what i did this weekend was i rented a stump grinder the vermeer sc70 tx it's a cool machine it's a little bit different um do a walk around the machine real quick so i saw my parents out grinding stumps had a bunch of trees taken down and it was just easier to rent the machine than it was to pay somebody um the machine rental is like 500 bucks for eight hours for this guy um it's a nice machine it's on tracks um now with that being said i'll go over the controls on this thing you get a bunch of knobs bunch of switches to do things um these this knob here and this knob here that is a left track that is right track push forward goes forward pull backwards it goes backwards then you got for straight line forward and backwards this one here raises and lowers this one turns the top you know the deck deck like that now um with this machine you got to keep one hand on a knob if you don't it will turn off the blade um now with that being said this machine was finicky with this one so just a little bit screw it's only got um i don't know like 90 some hours on it so this one here makes the the wheels slide in and out this is the speed for faster or slower this is the rotation you know the head going side to side you can have it be slow or fast slow medium or fast this engages and disengages the cutting deck um this is your idle speed here um let's see here i'm trying about anything else with this if you have a high end on this this light green turns green if you have the cutting wheel engaged that is green of course your start stop so you can turn it on goes through that stuff and it tells you how many hours on it how much fuel is in there engine rpm stuff like that so i did that i did a total of 10 stumps that you pretty much reach your hands around a touch um so that's been the whole thing so these were i guess called princess trees they're i took probably uh around about an hour stump a little bit more give or take but as you can see i need to clean it when doing it um i did it from going the front side of the stump working through it if you get what i mean there's a couple different ways you can do it um so that was how i did it though i tried it going from the back of the stump working backwards it worked all right but it seemed to work better going from you know the front side working through it well let me go guys i'm gonna put attach some videos i got to clean this thing and get it loaded up so if you don't clean it they bill you for cleaning it but that's how to use it it seems to be a good machine it worked good for this this project then again this machine only had 90 some hours on it so but oh another neat thing with this thing it's got what they call smart sweep to it okay one thing i had to sit down and read the manual because the guy that was at the place didn't have any clue on how to operate it really was when sweeping you got to have the engine rpm high enough to actually have it sweep side to side if the engine rpm is not high enough it will not sweep um so that's something that we you know keep in mind when using it so gotta have the rpms all the ways up well you guys keep keep watching you'll see some of the videos of me using it um please like comment subscribe all the above so [Music] you
