know i know what it's like to to feel his glory on me and and i can't stand and i feel like i'm going to topple over i know what it's like to be a womanizer i know what it's like to live in sin but can i tell you i know what it's like to live in purity and i choose purity i choose life i choose jesus today i choose to be in his presence i chose the king of kings [Music] is there anybody in the love when they're accepted people love when they come and they they feel a part of a family amen and so when they come we're gonna love upon them we're gonna we're gonna introduce jesus we're gonna advertise jesus we're gonna introduce um jesus to them and so i want for us because next week is gonna be frangialism somebody say frangialism yeah man hashtag frangialism and so what we're going to ask you to do is each member is asked to invite an unsaved friend to church smithy who don't know jesus you're going to invite them okay you have to so intentional action brings intentional results say that intentional action brings intentional results so our ushers will give you a flyer for that unsaved friend that you will target this week not next week but this week and the person who invites the most people to church will gain points for their house so yeah man feel it feel it bubble so only give the flyer to the person that you have spoken to or that you have invited if you are a member or if you are not a member sorry if you're not a member and you would like to participate in the different competitions the domino the netball you know the bible quiz the cook-off competition and all [Applause] hallelujah [Music] [Applause] hallelujah we bless the name of the lord i just love my church i just love what is happening and so this month is evangelism sports month and so i'm here to share on friendship evangelism i want to give honor to the holy spirit right now who is the head of my life i give honor to our personal courtney mclean first lady reverend nadine mclean the first children the elt leaders ministers diaconet members and partners i greet you all in the mighty name of jesus so i'll be giving a brief summary of friendship evangelism and for the past two weeks we had reverend gilbert gilbert gordon who shared with us on friendship evangelism and i want to take the opportunity to thank our apostle for giving us the opportunity to hear from reverend gilbert i i think it was a very impactful lesson anybody can agree with me yes it was very impactful so our main text is the evangelistic model and that text is acts 1 verse 8. but he shall receive power after that the holy ghost is come upon you and he shall be witnesses onto both jerusalem and in all judea and in samaria and onto the utmost part of the earth according to ii timothy 4 verse 5 it says watch all things endure affliction and do the work of an evangelist we are all called to do the work of an evangelist that means we sow and we expect the harvest the fields are ready the harvest is there and people are hungry to receive god so therefore we must be intentional we must be intentional about preparing and sharing the gospel our influence is within our circle it is those people who we can reach how do we prepare firstly we have to love people in order to win them we have to be excited about sharing the gospel right we have to win them accept them receive them for who they are right and bring them in we have to position ourselves our hearts have to be ready our hearts have to be ready to receive them mentally to accept them some of them they're hard to reach hard to reach but we have to go to where they are to reach them right not try to fix them but to accept them for who they are we have to know who we are called to impact to influence or jerusalem represents those within our circles it is our family our families our friends our acquaintances and our neighbors some of us are called to impact the nation at large you know different culture right those are the samaria and the judea but we're called all of us are called to impact or jerusalem and those are the purses within our reach or jerusalem is our personal evangelism and that can be called friendship evangelism as well we have the process what is the process lifestyle evangelism is a lifestyle it is what we do it is who we are it is more than just sowing and reaping it is not just limited to going to street meetings and crusades and events it is who we are we have the first hand knowledge we are the witnesses right and it requires us to have a new approach even in covid we can no longer go on the road so we have to have a new approach in how we reach persons right so we are the one who have the firsthand knowledge and the experience and when the divine opportunity presents itself we must be in a position to share we must be bold romans 1 verse 16 says that i am not ashamed of the gospel of christ for it is the power of god unto salvation to every one that believe we have what is called the lifestyle friendship evangelism which is you're gonna be the light you show the light and you will share the light by being a friend and meeting the needs you know help your neighbor i personally was an introvert i had to go out of my way you know i have friends at work how how do i strategize you know probably buy lunch for them decide to meet and have a conversation with them you know about natural things that are going on and then we use that opportunity to persuade them we have to practice no he gave us the strategy to practice we write down these names three relatives three friends three acquaintances and three neighbors and we have our planner you know we can this is this is a part of our spiritual um assignment to write down these names and so we pray over them and ask god to save these persons we have to be intentional so he gave us some steps to be in effective we have to be convinced that the word works right god is faithful and the word works god is able to save salvation is eternal we also have to be convinced of the strategies we have to build relationships meaningful relationships not just touch and go but have meaningful relationships showing people that we care about them not being overly spiritual you know sometimes we want to get too spiritual but we have to leave a favorable impression with them love them develop the common interests talk about sports something in common we all have something in common that you know persons can relate to and allow them to talk allow them to talk and show empathy this is how we're going to connect our in emotional intelligence with persons right and be convinced that the supernatural experience works how do we apply the supernatural experience we share our story everyone has a story my story is credible repeat my story is credible awesome nobody can share your story like you do right it is that gap it is the bridge between christ and us without us persons will not be able to receive christ right we know about john 4 the woman at the well she was in a natural setting jesus was in a natural setting with her and he you know reiterate the different natural aspect of this story but the woman left with an encounter right you can read it in your spare time we have to have the mindset that god is going to use us to bring about the change in someone's life supernatural evangelism is our story that becomes the urgent story that someone wants to hear don't take it for granted that your story is not credible or someone doesn't want to hear your story write it down the more you share it is the more it becomes impactful and i i know bishop has said before write your story be ready to share your story it is that story of you coming to christ the different elements of your story life before christ what was happening in your life before your encounter when you met christ what what happened you know the life after christ you can tell them about what god has done for you and that god is indeed faithful and so you know in practicing and sharing it it will become impactful for those persons it must be god-centered it's not about us it's not about the messenger but the message that we have to share it must be simple you know sometimes we want to talk oh no no no no no about the story you know write it down be precise let it be simple and be positioned to connect with persons emotions i like what reverend gordon said you cannot pray about god sending laborers this is found in luke 10 verse 2. we pray that god send laborers that we are not going out we are not qualified to talk about it if we are not going out or pray about it right the great command is not a suggestion it is a command and so in closing be intentional there are some flies that were given out we want you to give persons who you know will be coming not just any person but persons who you know will be coming who you can share and impact their lives be intentional i call it the five b's be intentional be prepared be bold believe that god will use you and be available to share the good news god bless you thank you so much deaconess stephanie perkins the head of the evangelism ministry i'm excited about march because it's the month for evangelism the month when we invite our friends or relatives or acquaintances and of course our neighbors next week we invite our friends and of course the more the sports day we're looking forward to evangelism we're looking forward to fellowship we we are a balanced church i'd like to think so amen so we are holistic in our approach to ministry and to the kingdom of god and we believe that you should have fun as you go and as you journey amen amen i remember i was on what was that no that was i don't know one of the social media handles myself and the boring were talking and she was interviewing me and said what what's your favorite what's your favorite basketball uh uh team i said well i mean i follow lebron so i'm a lebron james fan you know so any team in my play for me just support that team there right the man said bishop talking about basketball and this is your big sight listen to me i have a balanced approach into life amen john g lake i never forget janji lake ministering to people feeding the poor having kitchens and taking care of those who were in need and his wife died from malnutrition how does that add up saving the world africa all over and his children not one of them stayed with him all of them left him and left god wanted nothing to do with church powerful man you know he married later on and after his second marriage he was seen watching tv and that was a miracle because fire for tv and everything there was no balance to his life and i want for us to have a balanced approach to life you don't want to save the world and lose your family save your family while you're at it amen i say amen amen have a balanced balanced life you know i took a day and i was in the water with my wife and i was kissing her in the water and i was kissed i mean good good kiss you know quick kiss yeah i tell you you don't know what is missed on me pause look at me [Applause] yeah yeah i did that did that thursday friday just world you're spending time with your family while you're saving the world you balance things out in terms of your marriage you balance things out in terms of your children because all of that is important and that's why we did the productivity planner to show you that all of that your relationship with god your family your personal development your business your finance everything it matters lord can get rid of it [Music] [Music] if you live by the world it will purge you from it transformation comes through jesus christ then try everything [Music] [Applause] [Music] in john 14 verse 6 jesus proclaimed himself as the solution by saying i am the way the truth and the life because there is a solution there must be a problem when we look in our world we see several problems murder drunkenness broken homes infidelity rape and molestation not to mention unforgiveness greed and deep deep corruption [Music] glory to god in matthew 1 21 jesus said i came to save my people from their sins wretched i was a womanizer but the blood of jesus christ cleansed me and because the blood cleansed and i lived by the world encouraged me and transformed transformation is possible if you surrender to the lordship of jesus christ [Music] hallelujah so this is our evangelism month amen jesus is the answer it's non-negotiable jesus christ is indeed the answer hallelujah and many times it will sound like a cliche like you know we're just saying it but with every ounce of faith i am telling you when i look in the world there's no other solution other than people surrendering to the lordship of jesus christ when i talk about joint church i'm talking about surrendering to jesus christ because many people join church and don't surrender to jesus christ but if you yield yourself to jesus christ there's going to be a change there's going to be a shift there's going to be a turnaround you see we want world peace world peace without the prince of peace is not possible world peace let me tell you this we are not going to have world peace it's going to get worse and it's going to get because there's no way you can reject the prince of peace and have world peace it's not possible it's not possible the only way we're going to experience true peace is to embrace christ to embrace the prince of peace when i look at all that is happening around us and i look at the heartlessness and how cold people are and the fact that life seemingly has no value all because people are ignoring biblical principles and they are embracing they are embracing world views world views that are totally against the bible totally against the scripture as working with this gentleman uh a few weeks ago and he said to me he said we we are we are we we are one we are one with the animals there is no difference between your life and the life of the frog and the life of the chicken and the life of the goat there's no difference and he was serious he wasn't just saying it this is his belief system and people don't understand that many of these belief systems that we embrace it is the very reason why you can kill your brother and it's nothing because he's no different than a chicken he's no different than a dog because of our belief system and satan has been on the launch he has been releasing serious attacks philosophies to come against people's uh mind and the things that we believe those things are destroying us and we don't even realize it the man said you and the grass you and the we are one with everything this is belief system when you look around you you recognize how cold people are i mean when i say cold i mean people called yeah people called where it's come from because you reject jesus christ if you reject jesus christ and there's only one way you are going on you're heading down so we see when we look around us we see murder we see the the the the the brokenness in terms of the homes and people still trying to figure out what is the problem in the society the problem in the society is that we don't have a strong home foundation and even when the fathers are there the fathers that don't that number one it's the man's responsibility to really teach you know it is the father's god-given responsibility to teach you know and he's absent so i go on that is the order of god when we neglect the order of god we are heading for trouble we're heading for serious trouble because we have stepped out of our roles and we have delegated our responsibility to somebody else ephesians 6 4. fathers don't exasperate your children instead bring them up in the training and the instruction of the lord it's our responsibility to teach but how many homes have a father and how many homes have a father who is present but really absent present physically but absent emotionally absent mentally is really really not there and so the values are not being taught the principles are not being taught so the homes are broken infidelity is the normal thing there's a feeling now man if if it was natural for man to have one woman that man wouldn't have the desire you know that teaching right the fact that a man desires many women means that staying with one is not right the bible is putting us in bondage how many have heard that these are some of the things that people are embracing right now so unfaithfulness is is a thing that is is is natural and i'm going to say to you outside of christ it's natural because sinner supposed to sin it's interesting that many of us are holding sinners to christian standards and we are shocked when they do certain things a sinner doesn't have the capacity in and of himself to fulfill the word of god we look around us we are seeing where our children are being snatched we look around us we are seeing that rape is under eyes and it's the norm we look around us we're seeing that greed yeah retaliation we look around us we are seeing a level of corruption that has never been seen before corruption at the highest level in sickness disease we're seeing high levels coming a lady was trying to give her tides to waffles and she's overseas and she was told by our bank that jamaica is on that list so we're not releasing that tithe had to find another way to send the tithe because we are known for scamming and i don't know if the church is not a scamming is a scam system i was trying to do some some business the other day and one of our members was trying to sign me up internationally and uh and and and a message came up when she was ready to download the form the message came up that we no longer do business with this zone why why scamming so the the we we are heading down apart that's not good we're adding and and i when i look in the natural i don't see you in turn from a natural perspective when you look out at things with your with your natural eyes i don't see where it's going to turn why because we are living in a system where people are trying to normalize and regularize what god is against we are normalizing and we are saying that you listen to me the people who are straight they are the ones who are lean. if someone has a phobia what's that yeah but it's not just fear it is dubbed as an emotional sickness you need help it's not just fear phobia means something wrong with you you need psychological help and so when they say homophobic what they were saying from that time is that this people who are afraid of homosexuals are sick we are living in that time where good is being seen as evil and evil is being seen as good that's a time that we're living in we're living in a time where even in the church if you're not careful the standards and the lines get eroded and people begin to practice and listen to me listen to me i'm gonna say it from this pulpit embrace jesus christ he is eternally doomed you can't save yourself by nature we are sinners the bible says for all have what sinned and come short of the word of the glory of god by nature we are sinners and you have to understand that sin brings forth what destruction the wages of sin is ultimately death not just death later on when we are eternally separated from god but death and destruction in this life there's a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof is the way of death and destruction sin is sweet no yes yes the bible itself says stolen water is sweet and what is it referring to sin what kind of scene let me see if you know it was talking about sexual sin a man drive over the fence and they walk over the fence and take one of him stolen water is sweet but it says that sin is like eating and when you taste it it tastes like honey but after a while your mouth full of gravel the consequences later say yeah yeah you will enjoy no you lie and you think you get away you steal and you think you get away you commit adultery and you think you get away you fornicate and you think you get away it's a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof is the way of death and the way of destruction it is appointed unto man wants to die and after death he's going to pay for every deed done in this flesh if he has not applied the blood of jesus christ to those deeds and this is why you and i must pray that god would give us a fresh burden for souls that we would pray that god would give us strategies in how to minister to those that we know because sometimes we can reach a place where we say you know go on a hell since you wanna go on a hill i'm tired of talking to you i'm tired of praying for you you can reach the place where you said literally the world behind me on the cross before me but we must pray again that god would give us a fresh desire a fresh burden for souls we can't give up what if someone gave up on you i you look at the world and you say it's doomed but we have people in the church right now who are homosexuals and the blood of jesus christ has purged them and they are living straight for jesus christ we have people who are alcoholics we have people who are womanizers we have people who are lesbians we have people who are perverts but the blood of jesus christ turned their lives around and if the blood turned their lives around oh you're clapping let me say you if the blood changed you then why can't the blood change them even though it looks hopeless don't give up on the sinner don't give up on the world it is everybody and there's a glory that we're supposed to walk in there's a power that we're supposed to walk in but we sin and we come short of the glory every time you walk in sin you are glory deficit there is a dimension of glory that you are designed to walk in a dimension of power man was not created to live the way he's living sin brings you down you were created to live in power you were created to live and walk in glory this is why repent means come back to the pent state come back to that upright state get back to your first state get back to how you were supposed to be when adam was clothed with glory and with power in genesis where he had creative ability to speak and things manifested why not not manifesting glory deficit but i declare over your life that as the blood of jesus redeems you and restores you glory is coming back and the power that adam worked in is coming upon your life you will walk in power again you will walk in glory again your our fellowship will not be broken you will operate at another level all have sinned and the sin caused glory to be bankrupt and the sin caused a glory deficit but in the mighty name of jesus in this time of revival that god told me that we're in i declare that the body of christ is coming in another level of power is coming in another level of glory something is happening in your life [Music] the word subtle means to strip and to be stripped of appropriate covering when you check the real deep word it means to be stripped to be stripped and then to seek to strip satan was more subtle the serpent was more subtle than all the other beasts in the field which the lord god had made and he said to the woman why did he target the woman because he saw them with what he had he was appropriately covered when he was in heaven he carried glory he carried power and he came down and he saw them walking in what he had and he said if i could just get them because he knows the law he knows the word if i could just get them to disobey god if i could just get them to dishonor god every single day the devil is working to get you to dishonor god to get you to disobey god because the more you walk in disobedience the less glory is upon your life and i'm telling you when adam and eve listened to the serpent they were immediately stripped they were naked already it wasn't close that they lacked it was glory that they lack i'm calling a man who feels naked it's not because of clothes it's because you like glory i'm talking to somebody who feels empty it's not because you lack love from a man it's because you are glory deficit but i speak over your life you will not marry the wrong person because you are trying to solve a spiritual problem with a natural solution you have a glory deficit but the glory of
