baby [Music] [Laughter] roof [Music] bb [Music] hello someone there hello hello hey it's you i didn't know you was coming to see me come on in so here we are folks welcome into the earth lodge this is the place that i've been building and um i've got it pretty much how i'd like it to be now i've even just recently managed to get the floor in so i've put a wooden floor down which gets us up off of the mud and then alongside that i've put some shelves up and i've got some bits and pieces which well i might as well just give you a quick show around and show you what's going on anyway so be warned it's a bit like a museum only different these are all artifacts that some reproductions some of things that either people have made or i've made myself or simply represent nature and uh archaeology and the people that came before us so um well there's a little lion man right there that's a reproduction i didn't quite get the size i wanted out of him that's a dagger that i made along with uh red ochre that i mined from the clearwell caves [Music] then beside that you've got the cushion stone from the amesbury archer with some reproduction arrowheads a crucible which is actually smelted malachite the fishing arrow spear tip this is a leather pouch from the first deer that i ever killed the obsidian blade core this is the um goddess from grimes graves i'm not going to name it all but you'll kind of get the idea the predator is very self then we move into some artifacts well these are this is fossilized mammoth tooth mammoth bone and these were reproduction skulls which helped me tell a story of the evolution of mankind other bits and pieces mixed in all the way and then what we've got is we've got venus wendell and the swimming reindeer [Music] and it kind of goes on and on this is one of my favorite mammoth teeth absolutely beautiful tooth that [Music] you've what you've got there is you've got a piece of bog oak which is supporting a um piece of flint from lincolnshire turned into a handx we're moving on with more skulls [Music] [Applause] and then some interesting artifacts that have been made by a friend of mine i'll tell you more about them then we move into actual artifacts all by and very selves things that have actually survived the journey through time or not as the case may be but they're brilliant teachers and then just below what you've got is you've got the artwork which has been inspired by art from spain and france [Music] upper paleolithic art that mankind left behind [Music] i kind of went on a deer theme in here because i'm on an estate which um well basically i'm sharing the estate with the deer so i thought that was only right and then with the fire and uh all said and done not a bad environment to be in wouldn't you say [Music] so what do you know not a bad little spot hey i absolutely love it in here i can't even believe that i created it a year ago it wasn't here and now it is and i'm really looking forward to running my workshops from here seeing everybody come here and enjoying themselves and basically doing what i'm doing which is having a bit of a dream a primitive dream something that once belonged to mankind we had this once i still have the same life as you guys i've got business family all them kind of things but um this is where i'm going to be spending most of my time and um i can honestly say i'm looking forward to it one of the things i did tonight was cooked my tea over the fire not something that i'm unfamiliar with but now i've got the floor in here it just felt spot on there's a brand new enjoyment all over again anyway i hope you enjoyed the video and um i'll be looking forward to creating some more videos soon showing you the creations of what i'm going to be creating all the best cheers [Music]
