Weirdest Axe Ever Made

What's up guys! For today's video I've got something very unique and super cool: this is the chopper 1. I got it off of ebay because it's a vintage item. They don't make them any more. So this is how this axe works. When you split the log these two pieces push it away to the sides and that way it splits all the way. Feels pretty heavy, at least 5 6 pounds. I got an axe handle for $11. I'm going to stick it like this. And I got rubber mallet. We're going to make sure it's going to go all the way in. And then it came with this little board. It's going to expand it inside there so that way it will stay there and I'm going to use rubber mallet. That way it's not going to break it. Look how much it's expanded. I was actually worried that this handle is not going to fit this axe but look how amazing that is. You see why I use the rubber mallet: it didn't break it at all. Definitely not going to come off. But we'll test it out. Now look how beautiful that axe looks and guess what buying on ebay just the head - a lot cheaper than with the handle. So I'm glad I actually got it - just the head. That axe looks super mean I love it. Hey guys, there goes nothing Wow, beautiful! Super easy. This is Oak. Not the most dense wood. Nice! I don't even have to swing that hard. One more time. Beautiful, maybe a little harder so it does the job. Wow, did you see how it flies different directions? Beautiful. It's not very sharp, but see it does not get stuck. Let's see if it's going to split something bigger. Wow, easy! Amazing! You see how it flies different direction? So that way they don't stick together. Woo! Look how far it flew. Definitely works well this two little flaps right here. Definitely works well pushing the two different directions. Awesome! This is two much fun I can split firewood like this all day. Nice! Chopper one, there you go guys, I don't I don't know why they don't make them any more - but that's amazing. Woo! I didn't even hit it hard. You see how it's fly th... ...flying away out of the way? Beautiful! It's perfect pile-up over there on the side. Let me show you a couple of close-ups. Beautiful you see how it separated it? Let me hit it right here. See if it's going to go fall right away Boom! In for pieces. So if I had a tyre or bungee cord it would be so easy Man, since I'm having so much fun let's have a little bit of work-out and chop up all of them. This one all twisted, let's see how it does. Yeah this one all knotted-up, maybe second hit will do it. There you go. Easy. Look at that branch. That's what makes it harder to split, but not for this axe do it easily anyways. Whoo! Flies apart. ... another knot until you see what happens. Easy. Let's see what happens if it lays on the ground, will it split? Did it. I know guys some of you don't like to stand up logs, you guys just chopping it on the floor, so we'll put that to the test too. You see they all laying down. Let's see what it will do. Hit this one like that first. Easy. Not as good when they're laying down. There you go. You see maybe you should use different axe if you want to chop when laying down. Feel like standing them up maybe you want to use this axe because when they lay down, they don't split as good. Oh my gosh it's so sunny right now. Well guys what do you think about this vintage axe? Super cool and super amazing. By the way, $11 handle: beautiful! stayed intact, didn't even move what do you guys think about that invention? but of course after splitting hundreds of logs this pincer here, inside here and the spring, will wear out.
