We Went To An Empty Closed Water Park! | Dollywood Splash Country, Cabin Tours & Flying Home!

good morning from splash country at Dollywood huge thank you to Dollywood for having us out and providing this trip for us we're gonna go into splash country even though it's not open yet doesn't open for another couple of weeks just gonna check it out and see what they've got going on yeah so let's go check it out now this park is not open yet won't be opening for another couple of weeks so we should be able to see it all empty look at that an empty lazy river BAM we will definitely have to come back up and get in this lazy river it's kind of cold right now though look at that you guys know I love good water park I think this is the entrance to the lazy river I like how that slide is way up there yeah you guys can hear they're doing a little bit of work behind us with the beeping gen we're heading into a couple of cabanas now there's only about two of them though there's Bubba Beasley he caught a really big bass this is an empty water park look they have beaver tails too world-famous pastries they said that this is the wave pool and they said that nine times this year this season the water parks only opened a hundred days out of the year you're gonna have live bands playing out here at the wave pool they've got these little canopies that you can rent and it's just like a nice shaded spot that has two chairs and a little safe in it it's a guaranteed seat - oh okay I kind of like this idea where you don't have to go up as many stairs to get to the top and then it just goes down the mountain she said that this is kind of a hidden spot for the parks because it's a little section back here called the Cascades but nobody really goes down - because you have to go down these stairs but I do like that it goes down the side of a mountain feel like one of the most interesting parts about this waterpark is that it's kind of surrounded by trees so you can't really see all of the different slides like right now I'm just looking around I see five slides but I think there's sixteen total attractions in this part we just can't see them because they're all behind trees oh you guys know that I love a good water coaster and they've got one here yes so the good question was asked amongst the group is what makes a water coaster and I don't know the exact definition but I'm going with something that propels you up in the middle of the ride so using Mack Nitz this will propel you back up an incline and then you'll continue through the rest of the slide it's the little kids splash area it looks like super fun oh and they've got one of those buckets on top that fills with water and then dumps and a huge splash comes down so we walked down to the bottom of this big slide you can see that's what I was talking about it's kind of up the hill a little bit so there's this little section here that you don't actually have to climb up the stairs because you're already there then you got on the slide and then she said that this was a hidden gem over here this is the Cascades area because nobody really comes down because it's kind of in the back of the park so like we said the park doesn't open for a little bit so none of the filters are on right now but this is waterfalls right here there's a couple of little slides for the kids back here a couple more of those little shade areas back there those private shade areas they've got some littler slides everything here in Dollywood is shaped like a butterfly so the little like landing pad area is shaped like a butterfly oh I like this there's just three slides all right next to each other or actually four because this orange one is different than these two green ones and then you've got this green one up here that goes into like a little toilet bowl type thing there's a yellow one up there and then there's this yellow on here they are doing some landscaping work behind us with weed whackers and stuff but here is the little like toilet ball type thing that I was talking about so you come shooting in here and you squirt around and then you end up coming out the bottom down here I will tell you guys we will be back so you guys can hear me going we found these water slides holy cow there are a lot of slides back here Oh Matt racers you guys know I love Matt racers back in this area back here is a sensory escape area so if you have sensory issues or are with somebody that has sensory issues and they need to take a break although it's not an indoor space there is an outdoor space here at the water park where they can close the curtains there's a sand table there's some things that they can grab on to like a weighted blanket different things to help them in this area good morning from our last day at Dollywood dangled abuse thank you to Dollywood for having us out but we're leaving on a jet plane today on a regular plane yeah I think you're all jet plane okay but we're about to go have some breakfast so let's go do that we'll show you what we're gonna happen yeah yeah here we go we're heading into song and hearth or breakfast we had dinner here the other night but now we're doing breakfast I think so there's an omelet station that's all that I want let's have a look at the buffet before we get started some biscuits and sausage gravy oh this is the gravy okay then we got cereals some bagels and cream cheese apple butter hazelnut butter whipped butter just bread you can make toast various pastries and danishes and scones and then of course they have their doughnuts like we had at dinner the other night these are a little bit different flavor that we got plain and you got cinnamon and then you got all the toppings that you can put on them peaches some cottage cheese yogurt some granola some grits some cheese grits my that's backwards this one's cheese grits this one's regular grits I got different things that you can put in your oatmeal and cheese grits got some oatmeal that's chunky oatmeal some bacon oh man that bacon looks so good else we got we got scrambled eggs sausage are these pancakes and waffles oh they're like heart-shaped waffles some french toast and some delicious looking pancakes over here and then we've got an omelet station all kinds of different stuff you can put in your Hamlet some brisket hash and some diced potatoes and then just some fresh fruit over here create your own breakfast bowl and got a veggie scramble here we got tort elbows meat scramble and then you can add in salsa diced tomatoes ketchup jalapenos or cheese and then they got all kinds of sauces over here for you to add to it so we just got finished with breakfast delicious yeah really good and now we are headed to the cabins to have a look around there I don't think we'll be able to stay for very long for that because we have to go guess play yeah this has been a pretty short trip I do think with these media trips they're always like two or three days and of course we want to always stay a lot longer because there's so much more to do here and we wanted to venture out of the game for area and do some just stuff in the town yeah and you guys gave us so many suggestions so when we come back we will definitely be here longer and we'll do yeah let's head to the cabin I'm excited for the cabin me too I can't wait to see what the view is well we heard some of the other people that got to stay in the cabins what they were talking about and it just sounds so like people enjoying and the balcony is overlooking the mountains and here we go we're headed into a cabin this is a big boy yeah more rocking chairs of course we have to go home yeah here's the kitchen and we're gonna turn and just go right onto the back deck so you guys can see the view first now you can really see why they call them the Smoky Mountains wow what a view just listen to the birds I'm amazed by Birds okay back inside full kitchen room bar some nice woodsy feel fireplace TV there's a bathroom down here two full-size refrigerator by the way this is basically like a little house there's a bathroom down here and then I don't this just a closet oh yeah little under stairs closet this is one of the bedrooms here with a nice big tub here right next to the tub is another bathroom with a tub shower combo now let's ho there's a closet back here so let's head upstairs and there's a little TV on the wall as well oh yeah there's a foosball table up top foosball and air hockey and then in the bedroom here there's not a bathroom in this bedroom so I'm assuming that the one downstairs is the master because it has that big tub and everything there's a washer and dryer upstairs definitely a lot of bedding options here a couple of bunk beds down here got another bed in here and then a TV Dameon Center this is the bathroom for upstairs well no it costs 15 cents for every bath another tub and shower yeah we're up on the second balcony holy cow the view just gets even better and then there's a third balcony up above us that we're gonna head up to now up to the third floor got another bathroom in here another bedroom all the methane queen-size bed so far this little TV up there in the corner got a pool table a couple of arcades up here another bathroom up here another deck another bedroom so there's four beds up here I like this TV that's over top of the stairs and then the last bedroom up here the one thing that I will say is that although there are four beds up here four bedrooms there's only one bathroom on this level same with the second level yeah I thought that was the one with the bunk beds I guess you're right maybe this is just like a whole cabin full of kids yeah that's like the Lost Boys right here there's the hot tub I like how they like give you some fencing so you have a little bit of privacy from the neighbors here's the full view from the top floor of this cabin it is definitely beautiful out here so the first cabin that we just came from was not owned by Dollywood but it was operated by Dollywood yeah as a private owner this one is brand new build owned by Dollywood it doesn't look as cabanne the end you'll see when we show you guys as the last one but it definitely you can tell that it is much newer yeah yeah let's have a look at this one this is what the outside looks like like Jen said it doesn't look as much like a log cabin as the other one but it definitely does look newer you guys ready to see a place that has so many tables there's two tables over there there's a kid's table over here there's the bar two refrigerators so this is how many bedrooms is this right as soon as you come in there's a laundry room in there washer and dryer the living room and then a queen-size or full-size bunk bed in this first bedroom never seen that before and then what's this this is a bathroom here oh there's two bathrooms in this room so there's another bathroom in here as well huh oh this is just a sink well that's interesting and some storage underneath these stairs here it's kind of a strange spot for a sink from the bunk bed one live laughs lobe it's a lot and then we've got another bed in here and then I think that this is yeah another bathroom right here with an accessible shower so there is a deck out here with a set of stairs that leads up to the next deck upstairs more tables out here I'm sure this will be a nice view once some of the landscaping grows in how all of them are let's see bunk beds bunk beds everywhere so it's like the same layout same layout in all the bathrooms and bedrooms above and below you got a shuffleboard more queen-size bunk beds I think that if you were coming here to one of these cabins the way that you would pick your bedroom was based off of the bathroom another multi cade let's go outside and have home more rocking chairs hold on a hot tub up here feel like I like the layout of this house better but I like the view from the other one better so there you go that was the cabins there pretty neat like really are I don't quite understand just coming from like two adults mm-hmm cuz I wouldn't want to share it with like another couple right unless you're on like some big trip we are not going to be in the room you're just sleeping they said that they get like church groups and youth groups in here okay that makes sense and I guess y'all like Cub Scouts or Girl Scouts or whatever but yeah it is I don't know how many people can sleep in this it's a lot yeah I think it's ten bedrooms and if each bedroom holds don't say an average of forty people yeah that's thirty people so you really could like me because I imagine this would be it Gracie stay because there are so many rooms in so many beds yeah but if you're splitting it between three people yeah and there's all the tables and the two refrigerators yeah it was yeah I was like a mess hall like it was it was quite large yeah and there's two hot tubs in this one you could have a family reunion that's true yeah family your yeah that makes sense bye-bye three more we enjoyed staying at you back in that sleepy Knoxville Airport waiting to get on our 30-minute flight to Atlanta and then back to Orlando what do we do I touch the plane [Music] I promised myself I wouldn't sing Miley Cyrus because we're in Atlanta we're not in LA what's like the rainforest the phallic how the Atlanta Airport has just pictures of goats and a puppy I like how the video from the trip days is just like the same thing but just in Reverse or in a rain forest again yeah this is a fake bird see there they are the fake Birds I think that's our plane pulling up it's a good time and we're supposed to be too late I need to think of a different joke other than like singing a Miley Cyrus song I can't can't we need songs about Orlando I can write a song about our Orlando Bloom [Music] [Music] [Music] so we did it we made it back to Orlando and now it's time to get back home and bandage it's made to be and there you have it we are back home now feels good to be home but we did want to say a huge thank you to Dollywood for having us out had a really good time and we were definitely definitely gonna be back out at Dollywood sometime in the future because there was a lot of stuff that we weren't able to see a lot of stuff around Dollywood that we still want to see so yeah we will definitely be back and with that being said we are off we'll see you guys tomorrow where's the
