We Tried Every Disc Speed

in this video we're going to try which of these flies the furthest as an amateur as something and as a pro player science and at some point during the video Frida is going to try your pause game if you can do it here's the experiment we have all the discs in different speeds they're from 1 2 3 4 5 up to 15 so every one of us is going to throw three throws out of each speed and by the end of the day hopefully we'll see what speed works for each person beginner amateur Pro we're going to pick out discs throughout the way to have a giveaway at the end it's so much stuff at the end we can do like 15 people like 15 prices is that a good idea y she hates it first throw you feeling good [Music] yep good now Johann n is doing the mess it's all dark oh on it's very cold outside too right FR it's very nice for the hands so I had one throw that was really bad and we're going to rethrow the the really shitty throws so the statistics is going to be scientific after each segment Putters mid-range Fairway and distance drivers we're going to have a little chat and talk about emotions and experiences so the bite it's it's like a old school frisbey it's called Almost it's called a fast back see this and it's really slow but it has great [Music] flight hope it's a Speed 2 Powter it's good Glide a very deep feel that's also what quite speed too because it has such the rim is pretty my favorite discs for like approaches the low speed and the good Glide makes it easy to like have it land where I want that's two out of 15 s what that speed three p pure it's for you [Music] FR 2 and 31 it's good very the same at the end we're also going to pick out one Jesus Christ pick out one favorite disc out of all of these your eye bag but I don't know throat off and short the is 73 uh so when we picked which discs uh from which speed category we wanted to keep them fairly neutral so that like everybody could throw them and now we're throwing the pure one of my favorite discs throw in the whole wide [Music] world good enough we're done with the putters yes that felt kind of good I think we're going to pick a favorite from each segment and then pick a one final super winner very pure based on distance yep what's your F throw with pure 36 M uh I'm going to pick pure too because it's it was just nice to throw it's quite cold and it it flew nice I'm picking pure 73 M was my furthest with pure I like both but I'm going to pick bite it's the most fun to throw but you bag hope I bag pure and you bag a dog that is not latitude no it's a dynamic disc suspect oh never thr oh sh Claymore is our speed five pick and neutral mid-range uh yeah it's slightly under stable which I like but it's very good like fighting out of it which makes it [Music] straight so we've done can go like so very fun hey uh it's Saint one of the best discs of the latitude 64 lineup it's speed9 but it has lots of lots of Glide so a lot of people will have think this should be their like main a great system johanan is thrs last so he gets the coldest and the most wetest discs but he's the best of us what my good man that suck that was the worst 3 throws so [Music] far try like extreme an Christine tatal it's just a great distance driver with great slide nice that was Far go Grace go [Music] you wests side it's the sword I think Matt Oram throws like this how how G are you I don't gu this is the sword from Westside discs it's a D12 glidey slightly understable disc so it should be able to go far did you hear your snap there hey never thrown these bit [Music] low I haven't thrown it don't know ballista felt good was it the color or the disc color color yeah 88 this is the ballista this is really this is speedy 14 has a really wide rim and it's yeah minus one so slightly understable I think you got some really flippy ones the final stop this evil thing raeton speed 15 and we just have the one disc never thrown a speed 15 before it's a it's an experimental disc with all the cool dimples uh rim width Wise It's speed 14 but the dimples actually makes it faster but the negative is that it loses the Glide so it goes faster in the air but doesn't Glide as well as a it would have without the dimples we thrown ever discs right right right johanes you made some graphics that we're going to look at soon very it shows good stuff science but first fra which disc was your favorite and why same for you it's blw too far yeah it's a good reason I picked a speed three a pure not because I threw it the furthest but it was a cold day and I just like the grip and it was quite consistent I I choose the speed seven disc so we did the statistic thing and you put them in this graphic can you explain what we're seeing now yanes you can see everyone's longest throw within the putters mid-ranges fireway drivers and distance drivers and you can also see the average of all the throws you can actually pretty easily see that fre you you should throw mid-ranges you don't need anything more and Jonathan you should you shouldn't throw distance drivers I'm sorry you should throw farway drivers control is it's fun also but you you can throw distance drivers though you can
