We RESCUE a really bad 1969 Camaro! [New Project]

hey there welcome back to the channel you saw the thumbnail so you already know that I've lost the very last fiber of whatever mind I've had but we're going to go to uh Williamston South Carolina today and pick up a 1969 Camaro that I bought sight unseen on the marketplace as soon as I get all my crap together oh my gosh that's heavy yeah Brutus is in California so I had to bring Black Betty up here to the Enterprise and get me a pickup truck I have 45 minutes later I got this Dodge I don't know what this means but it's a Dodge so we'll cross our fingers [Music] oh there we go I mean this ain't the easiest thing in the world to maneuver I guess when you get a big round [Music] well all right battery we'll just take all these straps everybody's got that one car you know that one special car they've always sought after always wanted and for us it's a first gen Camaro the 67s are okay but they've got that vent window the 68's got a little better so when they moved the marker lights to the side of the car but the 69s the 69s just have that body line that Speed Line that make them stand out the thing is first gen Camaros people you know they want you to sign over your first child for these things even junk ones are like thousands or tens of thousands and I'm not even going to tell you how much I'm paying for this one because it's a little embarrassing but I saw it on Marketplace and I don't know I just said it's time I need to go get it it's there no reason not to go get it now I have not seen this thing other than the four pictures that Isaac sent me and based on those pictures you know when you zoom in well let's just say there's some imperfections but I haven't seen the interior I haven't seen the trunk I haven't seen I haven't seen it up close I I know virtually nothing all I can hope for is that well you know what it doesn't even matter like if the frame rails are rotted out or whatever there isn't anything for these cars that you can't buy so there's nothing on the car that we can't fix right I am very excited I'm very excited to go get this car I'm very very excited I'm not I don't think it matters what kind of condition it's in I don't think I would be disappointed well I might be disappointed but I'm not sure it's going to stop me from buying it like it would literally have to be you know like the Titanic which it actually doesn't look what you know what's the story well I I bought it on the other side of Atlanta it really came from uh Waynesboro Georgia and a guy bought it in Snellville Georgia and I went and bought it from the guy in Snellville Georgia oh so it's been all over yeah and it's it's originally a Georgia car well how long you had it I had it for about six or seven months oh you ain't had it that long okay I was gonna do something with it just like I went and bought that got that Nova out of North Carolina I was gonna do something here I just got too many projects well you got to get off the couch you gotta you got a Renaissance is that a limousine over there yeah you can go to it's going to well this but my fifth Camaro and I got one inside that trailer I cut up and made a race car out of it well let's check this thing out I don't know boy is something this is something else yeah I can't I don't know whether it's the jewel to Nile River or the third of the Choctaw Creek and this is all the yeah no you got you got bumpers and you got stuff in there yeah uh you know oh man yep everything is there okay yeah you got both parts of the back seat both front seats bumpers today on Hammer's garage can we make this Camaro run and drive 7498 miles home yes you can no we can't I had to I had to get it I had to contact that big around of Harley look at it and get me I didn't get stung the whole time uh we got the professional hood latch so this there was only one fuel Factory fuel line so that tells me this was not an SS Car I can't really see the VIN but it's a I had wrote that right here oh it's a one two four three seven so it was a v8 car it's a v8 car but not an SS okay and it didn't have the RS package either and we know that because there's no the there would have been a hole here for the vacuum lines to come through to actuate the Hideaway light doors oh yeah oh I heard it popped uh-huh I got I got a few tank to go with it too original fuel tank oh do you yeah all right well this is uh let's see where let's how do we get it up on the trail will that thing move no we can just go up there we're going to go this way yeah we're gonna have to push it a little bit huh yeah okay let's 430 cubic inches when was the last time you run it well it'd be about two years I had quit in the stock man that's a new motor in it and it went down to cool down a little bit we got a nice setup here we do what you do Grudge Racing or something yeah yeah you any good at it oh yeah yeah no I don't I don't do spiders if you all got some deadly spiders around you need to tell me right now and then oh yeah battery on here from a winch I guess I better test this it's a Harbor Freight winch and you haven't used it in a bit we better test to make sure it's still going to act right let's make sure still good and tight okay so we got some weld drag lights up here these are the weld aluminum racing wheels but on the back I think these are actually Cragar super lights and the way I know that is because this one says Kroger I don't even think they make these anymore now this one's got a Cragar cap but it stamped well well now I'm just completely confused are they cragars or are they welds this one is not stamped weld anywhere and this one is not stamped weld anywhere either so I'm guessing cragar's on the rear welds on the front I don't know if you have an idea put that in the comments for me waffle fries why is it the ketchup out of these little things taste so much better than the other packets [Music] [Applause] foreign [Music] we're about 10 miles from the house so I'm almost
