We NEED to talk about THAT Bennett McDavid incident

well is it really surprising we're talking about Mr Sam Bennett again so a guy you knew that was probably going to be a factor in a controversial way in this Stanley Cup finals was Sam Bennett who is known infamously for well his cheap shots as Matthew lies learned last year and Brad marshan learn this year Bennett isn't exactly the nicest customer and he was back to work in game one at the sing Cup finals with this quote unquote accidental collision with Conor McDavid now we obviously have no clue if this Collision was actually on purpose or purely accidental or anything in between but we do know that this Collision definitely stunned McDavid and you could see the Oilers bench visibly upset about it and probably rightfully so if you do slow it down you can see Bennett does finish high on this Collision even if he doesn't quite see McDavid until the last moment which sends McDavid flying to the ice and I give him props for just shaking it off and not going after Bennett here let's just see mcdavid's turning Bennett is turning you see a player put his hands out in front of him like Bennett he didn't see him till the last minute the thing is the broadcast on ESPN was quick to dismiss this one as just an accident but part of me isn't so sure about that Bennett does have a history of plays like this and seeing how high he gets on McDavid here does make me wonder how much he wanted to take out the Oilers captain and if you really did see him in his periphery Vision even if McDavid was actually his buddy and friend while playing minor hockey I mean going after after the guy who's the best player on the other team and the best player in the world probably makes sense if you're Florida and even though this didn't take McDavid out it definitely banged him up and Florida would probably take that Collision any day anyhow the Oilers did try to get some revenge on benett with this Kane hit here but they didn't really go after him right when the incident happened and overall I think it'll be interesting to see if and how this incident carries over to game two but yeah I can't be surprised Bennett has factored into things again over and out
