We Need To Stop Reaction Time

oh okay all right that's a bit harsh to be fair um you know entertainment is a very much subjective thing you know different people are different forms of content quite clearly hello everyone i'm alex and welcome back to another video but today's video is going to be a bit different because it's that time of the day do you know what time it is guys do you know what time it is all right guys come on at least put put some effort in you have to play along here do you know what time it is guys reaction time it's time to react to things isn't that overtime isn't that what people do isn't it is that just living i suppose it wouldn't be as cool if he just described it as man just does normal things on camera reaction times got a bit more of a ring to it technically what i'm doing right now is a reaction time although it's probably not going to be as good as his now a great way to look at a youtube channel and figure out what they do is go into their channel and look at their channel trailer the video that they've selected to show you the first time you ever discover them so let's see what he believes advertises reaction time i'm sure it's gonna be full of great reactions all right here we go [Music] well i don't really know why his shirts off um [Music] i didn't do this oh man um there should really be a pre-warning before anything like that happens in a video now we haven't really dived deep into what reaction time does yet so i'm gonna give you a chance to guess there's three options on the screen right now what do you reckon reaction time does well yeah it's reacting if you didn't get that then this channel is probably perfect for you now there are some videos on his channel which are by far my favorites for example can paper actually cut woods well i'm gonna say it's a no but i mean maybe it does we'll give it a watch anyway he looks thrilled in it so it's gonna be really entertaining what was that there's no way that paper can cut a piece of wood yes you're not wrong there is pretty much no way this is gonna happen i don't believe the paper is going to cut wood open thank you for sitting there in the top corner stating the obvious couldn't i have just watched the actual video though to figure this out but for some reason youtuber decided that this one's the one that gets 12 million views and i'm not bothered about reaction videos because reaction videos and what i do what many other youtubers do it's a very popular thing nowadays if you add something to it he's just sat there and read the title do you know how strong wood is it's really it's hard wow um that was an insightful look he really does provide a real extra bit to this video that you wouldn't get if he wasn't obnoxiously in the corner hang on why this can't be done this camp there is no way sit down and shut up how did this idea even come up i love how his research and to try to figure out if paper could actually cut wood is just searching thick wood and looking and going oh that wood is really really thick there's no way paper's getting through [Music] that look how flimsy that paper is all right we get it thanks for breaking your silence to say that there's paper that can go through wood finally you know i know it's a bit flimsy you know the papers of it oh wobbly not gonna get through thick wood thank you for googling it but why don't we just watch the video instead mate instead of just having you sit there and just obviously talk over it because you're annoying me i just want to see if paper can get through thick wood i mean look i would have watched it by myself because i was so tempted to click on it and just watch it before i even react to this video this video has 10 million views yeah i know that you only do this with you smoke don't worry you don't have to explain that to anybody it's quite clear that you have no interest in this now you kind of get the gist of his channel he just sits there and doesn't really react to anything which is a bad basic human function it doesn't require any talent or effort you just sit there you turn the camera on and you watch it and you literally just react to it he can't even do that i'm three minutes into this four minute video he's still googling whether wood is thick enough he's still trying to figure that out maybe he should be googling how thick he is guys i'm i'm betting all odds against it that's not going to be able to even make a dent okay and if it does i want you guys to comment something down below i dare i have to do or something i have to do if this is able to cut that i'm going to do the top comment down below don't make it dirty please don't make it dirty i don't want i don't want to do anything dirty okay you don't want to do anything dirty oh i'm sorry mate but i'd um i beg to differ i've seen your channel trailer no no oh wow guys amazing um paper cuts three woods his reaction was better than mine yeah i know i'm still practicing all right wait do i win i've never seen a man be more amazed by some of the most simple things on this planet but it must be an absolute blessing to live like this did it cut it it technically cut it right yeah it did and he did cut it he's better be able to react to stuff he can't even see that the paper has quite clearly gone through this wood you know it's your job you got like 12 million subscribers how is this so hard for you it cut it that's not fair that's not fair i take it back i'm not gonna please don't dare me something hard oh no the paper's gone through the woods i lose the challenge of basic human intelligence that's what you lose how lethal is a paper cut because after watching this i might just try and carve my eyes out this was an amazing experiment whoever came up with this is actually genius like who even thinks of this well quite clearly you don't really think about much mate because you make reaction videos now that is by far one of my favorite reaction time videos i think it really nails the face and the shock value in the video but my other favorite one is meet the team who dies if he falls asleep can you see how sad he looks in the thumbnail at least i know that this video is meant to be sad today we're gonna meet the teen who dies if he falls asleep we're gonna see the struggle this scene has to go through with a very very rare condition this video was reported by bbc you're watching me ashton without further ado we're gonna play this video i'm gonna give you guys my thoughts uh this is a very sad story of this teen's struggle and his day-to-day life with this condition so without further ado let's watch this it's really sad guys um he's going to die if he falls asleep he can never sleep uh the bbc reported this i'm very very upset and reaction time is reacting to this which is my favorite youtube channel so thank you for bringing this to my attention i'm putting mid-rolls on it thanks for advertising on the fact that this kid's gonna die already doesn't seem like it's a genuine video where he wants to share his thoughts but um you know there's a kid dying on screen so let's see how great his reaction to him dying is going to be i can't believe i've just said that he can breathe on his own during the day but not when he goes to sleep well um we're 34 seconds in and uh he's really added a lot to that so far thank you mate um really needed you to sit there in the top corner oh all the videos he's done uh like the ones about reading stuff wrong and uh putting random like coca-cola bottles on the thumbnails this is definitely by far the weirdest videos reacted t don't know why i felt like this one was one he should pick doctors believed he wouldn't live for longer than six weeks it was like oh right okay game on it's been another 30 seconds and currently i'm just watching a bbc free video that's all this is he's just sat there monetizing a video that's already been uploaded about somebody who may actually die and he's getting away with this this video is 180 000 likes 4 000 dislikes this is disgraceful i can't believe this is an actual video on the platform i can't believe he's allowed to get away with doing this and nobody seems to care not only is it disrespectful to the teenage boy involved but also the family and then let alone content wise he is just stealing video there is nothing transformative about this and if he does react i'm really worried about what it's gonna be i just don't know why these people can't stick to oddly satisfying videos or reading reddit posts you know but that's something you can add to it's something you can do with it and you have to react to people who almost die and sit there and say nothing well thank you guys for watching this video hopefully you guys had an incredible reaction time
