We Made MONSTERS INC in Non-Euclidean Minecraft!

in this video me and my friends torpedo and albin made monsters inc in non-euclidean minecraft [Music] even though it looks really cool there's one more detail the doors actually work if you enjoyed guys guys hello are you here are you alive all right you don't even know what we're doing today uh so i'm just gonna tell you real quick uh because the viewers already know you know and we don't want to have them waiting we are building the scare floor from monsters inc oh that was exactly the reaction i was looking for thank you so much but yeah we're building the scare floor and since we have the immersive portals mod installed we will be able to make working doors like you'll actually be able to walk through them uh so if anyone watching the video does not know what the immersive portal mod does i'll show you really quickly here let's make two uh portals here from this new added portal helper block get a flint and steel and then light this portal up and they connect there we go so now if i walk through this one i'm over here all right guys where do we start uh i have no idea oh no wait wait i do have an idea because we have were let it install right and if you look at this picture right here this entire place is just built up from like sections it's one section then it's copied several times so if we just build one of the like d3 you can see that on the right if we just build that one section and then copy it with world edit we're gonna be able to like paste it several times and we have it finished hopefully perfect what hey so i'll just make a floor here i'm not quite sure all right so it's there we go one one one two one one and then this one all right i think this should look okay there we go perfect okay so this is our section the door will be over here somewhere uh and there will be a desk over here and then we're just gonna have to make the the walls and the roof which is kind of tilted but i think we can manage that right yeah come on more i need more and we can manage okay okay probably yeah we'll do this guys i don't really know does this look okay what is that i'm just trying to make the the thing that's holding it up yeah that looks okay actually i think i remember that so let's just make the same thing on this side uh and then we're gonna make the door here the desk here and then of course the entire roof and the wall over here and then it's just copy copy and paste boys i am making a window i am the window maker of minecraft all right i'm finished with the window there we go uh yeah let's make the letters off the the thing okay that's that's kind of short just a tiny bit i'm gonna start working on the door this is going so fast i'm not used to having two guys helping me build this is weird wait we don't have a center what no no way jose don't have a center there are two blocks a two block mid which means the door won't be centered wait wait it's okay if we just move everything to the right all right we now have a center so i think it's time to actually make this door and there are like two things sticking out ah how we're gonna do this there's a door door goes here right which door i can't see the room no no there's not a uh-huh you mean that you mean the doors where's your chair what did you do what you haven't all right so i guess i'm gonna have to explain the movie to you basically uh this is the scare floor at monsters incorporated and this is a world where monsters live and to get electricity they scare children so they have different doors uh that come down and then they walk through the doors and they appear in the human world and they and they scare children to get electricity and that's that's that's the door well yeah they have the scare tubes as well do you just make that out of oh that doesn't look good at all that doesn't look good at all we can use the shulker books so it's like whoa and they get scared and thing out of i mean i'm trying my best here okay yeah yeah all right guys are we happy with this no wait we need the desks as well how could you forget the discs come on guys this is oh my gosh you see both of you working on the desk right now one desk per door no and there's only one door so one desk no alvin what are you doing i am still waiting for my desk all right guys wait this is okay i'm just no no there we go we made the desk congratulations guys we did it assets it just took maybe 15 years yeah something like that here's a guy who wants to work here hello oh yeah he does look like a monster so i mean he could probably wait let me see you try try scaring torpedo in here see if you can do it okay i think he's done all right guys are we happy with this yeah yeah it looks awesome guys oh my god i've never made a build this cool by myself i did everything guys all thanks to torpedo you guys wouldn't be here you're welcome oh my god so now all i have to do is stand in front of here do slash slash copy and then i guess i just slash slash paste oh so beautiful d2 boom look at that and then we just do it a couple times and we have the entire thing all right so uh it doesn't look like this in the movie but i we needed some light and we need even more light because it's oh it's very dark wait let's just place some some lanterns on the tables all right ladies and gentlemen it's taken us actually only 27 minutes uh but we have we're almost finished with this place so now all we need to do is finish some small details and and then it's time to make the doors the actual non-euclidean stuff the working monster sink doors and now ladies and gentlemen the first working door [Music] no oh no okay no torped why are you killing the monsters they're literally here for scarecrow i'm so sorry don't ban me please don't ban me no no i'm running away i'm running away you can't alright so you're gonna have to answer a survey sir we all right sir so you're gonna have to answer a survey um you know the the thing that happened to you to massacre your just built this this looks so cool we've done it and like alvin's over here renovating the look he's making progress as well there's a lever on the wall a very nice view of stone yeah pretty good hi
