We Made a Drum Set out of JUNK - Stephen Taylor & rdavidr

alright so we just made a drum set out of boxes on Stevens channel by the way this is Steven Taylor you probably know who he is but if you don't he has a channel too with some great drumming content so check it out but he came by for a few days and we made some videos together so there's some on my channel and someone who's so be sure to check his out so yeah I kind of just forgot to say that so I had the idea to make any peanuts any not too bad it was really good actually there's a lot of tone and depth to the drums which really surprised me I have to make a drum set this was actually Stevens idea but I felt like I wasn't contributing anything to this video so I kinda just said it was my idea but the guilt was building up inside of me so I just had to make that clear and he can tell by his face he's very upset so I'm sorry I don't just found out there's like buckets and shovels and whatever we could find so let's do that [Music] give it away now but not the worst yeah here's something think this will make a good kick drum yeah ah Oh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] a bunch of random stuff so we found this piece of Hangul iron which is I guess a high hat we rigged up this uh fantasy piece of hardware then for the snare we took a bucket lid a five-gallon bucket lid and tape the snare to it not a mmm body to it kind of flat sounding good it's better than nothing and then for the rack Tom we have a little paint bucket pretty sure wounds yes thank you for sponsoring this video not really um I haven't taped it to this the little snare stand from that that kids kit which not the best but it's what we had so it works then we go to our dry flat rust ride this is a old a newer shovel extra drive extra dry aged a day extra rusty so that's uh that's that we got a typical five gallon bucket as the for time so you can play like a four time on the rim and then this is a top four I'd box the screws not that much sound or tone but we have options you get the kick it's just a regular big old trash can and we did have to use a Roger for this just because it was too small and screwed the trashcan to the riser so I wouldn't slide away nothing you can see oh there it is it's [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] that's the kid I really don't even what to say about it I just walked around my house and found stuff and this is what we came up with yeah and the point is is you can always play the drums yes five gallon buckets are everywhere you can find them on the side of the road they're like two bucks at Home Depot or Lowe's or anywhere so find them anywhere and it doesn't sound No you know if you needed a kit or something to practice on or just want to mess around and fit inspire then this is one way to do it yep it's one way to do it so we could say our days been a success here it has been a success so we actually did a video similar to this one on Stevens channel so be sure to check that out and subscribe to him we did a box drum say made it from set of boxes and actually I like the Box drum set a lot better than this yep and I really thought this was gonna sound better but the box control surprised me so which is cool because the Box kit is cheaper yes it's easier yeah it's easier who needs to spend thousands of dollars on drums you can have gonna have this instead of everything yeah be sure to check out Stevens channel we did a whole bunch of videos the past few days so I'll make a playlist in you put them all together so check out his channel subscribe so thanks for watching see you next time Oh
