This movie, the Minutemen, Mike Watt, D Boon, and George Hurley, are a treasure. Seriously, even if you're not into their music, check this out. Really amazing story about friendship.
George Hurley is a drum God, D. Boon was an amazing guitarist and a visionary songwriter, and Brother Mike is the biggest hearted man in punk with the thudstaff in hand. Econo.
Punk was not punk until the Minutemen
I'm watching this tonight. It's been on my list of must-see films ever since I heard about it. D Boon is a god (RIP). So's Watt for that matter. So is Hurley.
Fucking Awesome!!
