WE GOT A PUPPY | Bringing Home our New Cavapoo Puppy & Introducing our New Puppy to our Dog Lulu

[Music] just another sunny day Northern California hello guys we have a very exciting video today I am getting a second puppy today oh my God I'm so excited we are getting black male cavoodle today or a Cavapoo I'm so excited I woke up Tuesday morning not knowing that we were gonna have a puppy in a few days and now it is Saturday so I'm really excited but I'm also really nervous because it just felt like a really last minute decision but we've been wanting to get a second puppy for ages for Lulu to grow up with and if you guys are new here we have a 10 month old black and tan cavoodle her name's Lulu and I really just want to have two dogs I raised together and are best friends so we're getting a puppy oh my God different braid off from last time so I'll let you guys know when I want experiences with her but as I said we literally didn't ever [Music] gorgeous oh my God it's so excited so I've just chopped his hair in front of his eyes so this is my little teeth [Music] hello oh my God that is so cute hello guys we have stopped for macca's literally like 10 minutes in hello so cute we've got four and a half hours ish to get home so yeah let's go let me show you this is Cobalt say hi oh my God you are just so cute hello say hi he was a lot more like calm than Lulu was which is interesting say hi to everyone guys we are going strong Cobalt has slept the whole ride we are now Advanced and I'm just I am just going to introduce her to mum's puppies and let her pee and then let him pee I'm gonna need to practice that and then we're gonna go home to meet Lulu hey say hi how was the ride you haven't peed at all did do a little vomit actually but it was like one kibble and just a tiny bit of liquid I cleaned up the liquid and you ate the kibble pretty much instantly so it's back in there anyway let's go meet Coco and Milo they are mum's Cavaliers if you're new to my channel oh my God you are just so adorable he is incredibly cuddly already which is crazy where Lulu was like not that cuddly until she got desexed and now she's absolutely obsessed with me it's amazing come on come on he's not peeing and he's probably freezing yeah all right we've got Kobe meeting Milo thank you [Music] [Music] hello guys so we are now home we've got Lulu wanting to say hi so what we've done is we brought Coco with us so Lulu can be distracted like that and we're gonna let Cobalt explore the place so we're gonna put her down this is his I mean him I keep saying that this is his little pen over here but we're just gonna let them all Adventure [Music] good puppies [Music] [Music] [Music] hello guys I'm sitting here with my glass of wine very native it's a long day it's been a long day obviously everyone's left now Sam's almost on his way home I can't wait to show you guys his reaction to meet Koval protocol Lulu and Cobalt already get along although she gets he oh my God guys I wish you'd heard how many times all of us oh how many times all of us have been like she he it whatever I need to sort of set this pen up strategically to make it his safe space and I think it's going to be like a Lulu free zone not that I think they're gonna need it oh oh my God he is so cuddly like Lulu is not like this if you do want to hear about the routine we're gonna do but into it in depth in Lulu Vlog and it worked so incredibly well so that's kind of what we're gonna do here except it's a tiny bit different because we've got two dogs so it'll make it harder to like do the alone time so while I was talking this is pretty much what they were doing hello oh look at this which one is the dog that's my slipper that's Lulu and this is Cobalt um he's definitely humping though so like I think that is him trying to hump so if anyone has any advice on what to do about humping I'm gonna have to Google that because I know we can't get you D6 too early I'm just making some food for the dogs as you can hear Brody is crying a lot because I'm standing up I think I recall Lulu doing that as well so I'm just trying to not react to it because I don't want him to learn that that gets my attention so while I'm making dinner I'm just going to let him cry and I'm going to see if Lulu likes the biscuits that the breeder gave me the breeder did say not to change his diet so Kobe's diet for a while so what she gave me was the Blackhawk puppy biscuit so we're gonna see if Lulu likes that because Lulu's still honestly she's really not a fan of any food she hates everything if you're watching this because you're thinking of getting a cavoodle or a Cavapoo they are like the fussiest eaters so that's something to consider and then this is the homemade food that we make so I'm probably gonna do a video on that eventually as well but this is the stuff that we've been feeding Lulu ever since we got her um occasionally we change the veggies that are in it but then I'll mix it around in here and this is Lulu's and I'm going to heat it up in the microwave because she likes it more when I do that 25 seconds we're gonna wait see it good girl I'm gonna have a glass of wine and I'm hoping she he I'm hoping he'll sleep for like half an hour till Sam gets home and then we're gonna try and keep him up and essentially exhaust him then slowly wind him down and then put him to sleep because he's gonna sleep in that pen all night and we'll do some crate training after dinner that's essentially what I feed Lulu Sid sit okay um you guys get the gist I don't have enough hands to Vlog this stay hard with a dog but we're gonna have to ignore him for probably 10 minutes and just hope that he eats so Lulu I only discovered she does this decides to dry her mouth on my white couch guys Sam is here that's quickly see his reaction are you soul funner [Music] he kind of just had a little nap but I think now we keep him off until then hello guys it is like 9 30 now and we've kind of been trying to crate train Lula was starting to get like a little bit irritated mainly because they weren't playing he was just literally trying to hump her or breastfeed like there was no games involved I think is what she's gonna have to do over the next few days is like set clear boundaries for how their relationship is going to go and then from there once they sort of get used to each other then they'll start playing around isn't that right it really hasn't had a nap like we sort of let him have maybe two 10 minute naps since we got home so he's approaching five hours completely awake Sam's about to watch the Liverpool game so he's got another two hours and he's gonna try and keep her like awake like she might try to sleep a little bit but we're going to like sort of wake hey oh my God he might like sleep a little bit but we want to like wake him up and not let him get into a deep sleep so that he's like really tired and sleeps through the night so as you can see I've actually put a sheet over it to almost give it this sort of like crate safety warm Vibe it is winter in Australia at the moment and if I go like this that is freezing and the cold air sort of just radiates through and it's worse at like four in the morning at Bed there for him Poise water and a little bit of what I'm hoping is to just take Lulu upstairs and sort of get them to go to sleep separately see you in the morning you're gonna hang out with Daddy good night see you in the morning yeah all right guys I'm into bed I'm sort of hoping that she'll be asleep so when Sam puts Cobalt away if he whines Lulu might not wake up I don't know we'll see how it goes anyway I'm so tired so we're just going to chillax [Music] [Music] look who I found good morning guys I've got little robot here we're almost at the 24 hour mark for a little update I'm not feeling 100 today like I literally feel like I don't have any cognitive functioning and I'm feeling so tired so do you want to tell them what happened last night I didn't sleep last night at all I wasn't feeling good I was really hot and sweaty I was just stressed about whether he was okay and if he was crying and trying to listen to see if he'd escaped anyway I got downstairs this morning you would have seen this when to go in there and I couldn't see him in there so I was like oh my God he's escaped he was on the couch somehow like I don't even know how he would get up there on his own without us being at Sam's family came over with their new little cavoodle puppy Maude who's about six months old and they played all together anyway they're here munching on some food outside to the toilet which is really good we've had two or three successful ones out side but when we woke up this morning pee and poo everywhere so he must have been out for ages I am really not feeling well so I'm kind of just blabbering on so this video is not going to be as interesting I think we're gonna go get my car and then come home and do a wrap test this is my current situation I'm gonna have both dogs on me so Lulu always sits on my lap and then now we've got Kobe in the crate waiting [Music] games [Music] you guys they're finally playing look at them oh my God this is exactly what we wanted [Music] foreign our first one inside but to be honest our fault we should have taken him out we have soak it up like I press use one of these to like press on it and soak it all up carpet cleaner and then spray with the normal locking spray so the scent that he went there it was gone hello guys it has been a while I literally like did a huge closet clean out I know that you're watching this for a puppy video but I just have to show you guys because I'm really proud I was feeling so sick today but I was like I need to do something productive so I did a huge closet clean out of Sam's cupboard originally we started doing it together and then it just wasn't satisfying me so I was like let me do it and I refolded all his stuff and like sorted them strategically all right so this is our situation now he really likes it and he's had like a few naps in there so we decided to not get another one but what I did was I put my ankle weights on the bottom here so I think how he got out was like pulling this forward there's no way he can like lift that up now these are tied separately like there's no getting out tonight um and then inside I have a pillowcase that we slept with all week so it smells like us and Lulu are you hungry I'll give you some biscuits soon okay yeah just wait good girl for letting me know though and then we've got this fur blanket which I just think both the dogs absolutely love him and Lulu are playing so well together now so I think Lulu just had to teach him how to play if that makes sense and they've been playing tug of war with all their toys [Music] yeah this seems nice we're in his hand do you want to come join [Music] we are heading off to bed now um I've just brought Lulu up here to let Cobalt just sort of wind down and then Sam's going to put her in him in the crate in the pen and then we are going to go to sleep and we're going to see how he goes tonight fingers crossed so we'll see you guys in the morning [Music] and I just woke up it's like 4 30 isn't it and we woke up to Cobalt at the bottom of our bed frying so I have no idea how he got out this is the pen still looks like that so I've got no idea we're gonna go to the toilet [Music] foreign [Music] everybody welcome back it is now the night I didn't Vlog today because I was exhausted I was so tired and had to go into the office and then yeah actually gonna try another thing tonight last night I don't know how Cobalt got out of the pen but he did and I was obviously didn't sleep all last night or the night before because I was like worried he was going to escape and we can't like tie the pen together so I just kept thinking that and then he kept crying and I was like is he crying in the pan or outside the pan is awake for ages we were like trying to get him to sleep on this like Lulu was really agitated this is just a part of having a puppy like you know crate and we actually locked him up I kid you not he pretty much went to sleep like straight away the second he got inside it so he was like lying in the middle there and to anyone who doesn't know Lulu sleeps on here every night between our our pillows my thoughts are tonight we're going to try having him near us but I'm so tired that I want to put this whole pen next to me so I can pretty much lean over so let's just see how we go with setting up the pen and if all else fails honestly if we end up sleeping with the pet like the crate in between us like we did this morning I'm happy so long as we get sleep I've just been in and out of different illnesses the last like month and a half I swear I'm battling some sort of fatigue um so the whole sleepless night thing is really getting to me so if we have to co-sleep we have to go sleep [Music] thank you [Music] okay this is what we've got going on literally just the crate I am going to put a tiny bit of food and water just in case but yeah hopefully he can see me and I can just kind of turn over and lean and support him but we'll see you guys at Lake for in the morning say good night say good night say good guys I've got lots of energy I'm not gonna sleep tonight all right guys good night hey guys it is the next day I've been in meetings all morning but I was just going to say that Cobalt has absolutely fallen in love with this thing Sam's mum gave us this because she used it for her cavoodle so he's actually loving it and I'll show you how he slept last night but I'm actually considering just getting rid of the crate and just having him sleep in this on our bed and when he gets up and walks out we just take him to the toilet each time and then so we pretty much just had him in his crate here all night because we tried down there and I just gave up instantly I was absolutely exhausted like so freaking tired it's like lunchtime Now update look oh you guys can't see him I can see his little cute eyes hello hi hi I'm gorgeous you're gonna need to pee though let's go to the toilet yeah we'll show everyone where you've been going come on oh yeah oh good girl good look at her coming up when I tried it anyway as I was saying we pretty much put the pen the crate here and slept there it just means we don't have enough blanket we each got up once through the night yeah it was great and then we got up and took him to the bathroom at like probably six in the morning and Sam stayed up and I slept because I've got a legitimate problem and I think I'm going to end the video here now and I will definitely do some more puppy videos so do hit subscribe if you liked this video and if you want to see and watch both of them grow up together and we've sort of got an established morning routine I think I'm gonna do like a morning routine with the dogs I'm also going to do a day in the life of Lulu on her first birthday which is the 2nd of October we're gonna post that for her not for you for Lulu yeah I'm going to do a puppy haul as well to show you guys what we got but rather than just showing you what I got I'm gonna tell you the pros and cons and and whether I recommend it and things that I got that were unnecessary because obviously I got heaps for Lulu spent like a thousand dollars on dog stuff and it was a waste of money and then we've obviously reused some so the things that we reused for him are the good things and all of that sort of stuff so yeah anyway I'll see you guys in the next video [Music] foreign [Music]
