We found an ABANDONED HOUSE on our new property!

like whose house was this I have more why am I fall through the floor [Music] [Music] so in the last episode we announced that we bought 40 acres and we're on it right now and we're hanging out we've got uh Clover and Bambi and we're just walking around the property right now just kind of exploring um we haven't seen like one percent of the property yet so we really need to wander around we need to explore see what it's like and there's also supposed to be on an abandoned house somewhere on the property too uh George wants to come to a seance so we're gonna like wander around and uh see what it's like see if we can find it come on so it's mainly Upland habitat uh so far that we've seen there's one small little kind of wetland oppression but mainly Upland habitat uh mainly Oak and Sable Palm which is really good good drainage we're not going to flood you know although we like aquatic animals you don't want to live where it floods right so it's pretty cool there's a ton of gopher tortoise Burrows that we saw earlier there's a power line easement right here and there's lots of gopher tortoise Burrows over there and a couple of them are active so that's pretty cool and yeah just kind of wander around see what it's like a lot of reindeer liking which I think it's cool this stuff when I was a little kid I I was obsessed with Jurassic Park and I had Jurassic Park toys and I would always put like my Raptors in the Lichen and like try to make like little dioramas what is that what is that Bambi has paint on her shoulder yeah oh you see a chain on me we've been painting way you know is that a way yeah all right guys so we just found the abandoned house that's here on our property that uh we haven't seen this yet so let's go have a look [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] oh this is crazy huh wow should we pick up Bambi and she doesn't go in [Applause] [Applause] okay [Applause] wow weird I wonder what happened no I'm not going in there it's really weird do you think like whose house was this we have to ask the uh the old man that we bought the property from see when he knows but do you think like a historian would know I don't think it's that old you see the roof caved in though looks like this was the porch no can we do anything with us set it on fire no there's no way this can be saved right no no no no no they're just gonna hang out here oh we can demolish it and carry out the pieces and get rid of it but all right so I'm gonna give you this thing this creature my daughter I'll take the phone and let's go in there come here you're gonna have to hold clover nope nope nope that's the whole point oh I might fall through the floor yeah I don't know that's gonna work stepping very lightly they want to follow me yeah I'm like stepping super lightly I wonder if there's any snakes in here yeah there's so much insulation everywhere this is crazy hey look at that fan I've seen some better days you love stuff like this yeah I do like exploring abandoned stuff I bet there's some rat snakes up in here this is a little uh two abandoned for my liking it well too long abandoning were like I feel like I'm gonna fall through the floor if I go in there is there anything underneath good questions possum or an armadillo I'm looking for snakes stuff over here like what more stuff looks like a shed Maybe it's so weird because it's not like a hurricane would come through we're like very inland oh wow this is crazy what is this I think it wasn't a farm clover I got it a barn yeah so it looks like it was a barn it's like fencing and yeah this is definitely like a chicken pieces over here in our flip-flops of course well I just got my tetanus shot a few years ago so I'm covered yeah you stepped in and they only moved into the last house I know yeah still in good shape are we gonna clean all this up how would we clean all this stuff I was about to say how like I don't even know where our house is right now be careful so this is a carnivorous snail species yeah Rosie and Glinda oh okay it's dead but are they native yeah yeah they're native they're actually um somewhat rare now but carnivorous do you mean like they just eat bugs no they eat other snails huh yeah so uh kind of interesting but I was reading that their populations had a major decline cool yeah this is so cool look at the size of this tree I know we've trees like this all over the property I want to make a tree house we totally should this is all ours can you believe it even the Bud Light can yes especially the Bud Light can of course he's going herping I'm gonna find the first snake on my new property what do you think it's gonna be gonna be bring that because that's what's most common but I'm going with yellow rat snakes you think there's Diamondbacks oh yeah really yeah that's exciting old man said he saw one there we got coral snakes too really so this is definitely the road that led to this house when it was functional you can definitely see and the ground is packed down are we right now uh the house is that way is it yeah well I have zero sense of direction I was gonna say it's this way nope wow look how clear it is back here yeah yeah they cleared this you know they were doing something over here what's that this is the side of my new tester Lagoon [Applause] is that a bird looks like it was a gopher tortoise collapsed reclaimed by an armadillo how do you know it's so when we look at the sand apron here if it was active with a tortoise it would be smoothed out right here and you can see it's not and you see all this debris too tortoises don't like any of that you can see Little Footsteps right here and uh tail drag right here there's wild rambos yeah so this is an armadillo right here tail drag footprints lack of smooth down here at the apron so that's not a go for tortoise it's not active with the global Taurus this definitely was one so it would be was a gopher tortoise originally dug it out made this massive Mound right here probably used by gopher tortoises for decades honestly they're gone collapsed in somewhat and then um armadillo reclaimed it you've painted yeah that marker is is that the property Market he said the property Market should be pink oh so it shouldn't be are you eating poop y stop this dog loves to eat poop come on
