[Music] the restrain yourselves maybe we should have stayed in the concert hall you're beautiful that's what we [Music] want [Music] okay I wrote this song uh this is I think the oldest song I have that made it onto a CD a record and uh when I wrote it first it was about 12 minutes long I thought that was great and it's every Songwriter's right to write a song as long as he wants it to be or she uh but you know it's the listener's right to not have to listen to 12 minutes of music and uh I was told that the very first time I played it which actually cut my heart in two and the song in three okay we didn't mean to go to se sha can I [Music] long the key side you were [Music] alive and I a reflection lay across the river and the night you were transfixed on me and I was mesmerized and names were whispered to un [Music] by you and [Music] [Applause] [Music] the tides began to steal away from morning [Music] light as night receded River wall seemed to grow High then you climb down to my ey arms and closed your eyes when we awoke we had been [Music] drifting we didn't needan to go to see we didn't leave to drift away we never plan to [Music] a but still the sea to us away he saw no lands on the horiz no distance show along the freas get all the more we found [Music] ourselves when we got lost that see that day [Music] Timbers creeped all else was quite un except the infant waves that licked and led along [Music] the it had to go on us there truth had been believed beyond all love and see [Music] we sailed High when half M you north towards the edge of our dreams grateful borders that marched our speed to still head the afternoon was bleeding to death and soon the sky was racing red to see the stars remove their hearts out of respect we need to go to see [Applause] we didn't mean to drift away we never plan to openly but s the sea to go away we saw no lights on the horizon no distance shows along the free get all the more we found our sa when we got lost that see that day God day [Music] [Music] [Applause] he [Applause]
