We bounce around and get home for the weekend again!

there's those hands i don't know if i showed you guys yet or not we made it almost to memphis last night we're not parking in the car side of the arrest area there was trucks all the way down but they left before us obviously oh i'm so tired yeah so i think we have uh eight hours left to get to tulsa so if we push it we could drop today but i don't know if we could find anything to pick up today um patsy cline rest area i don't know let me uh let me run in here [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right guys we are unloaded and we are on the muskogee turnpike this is where we're going to be sleeping tonight this puts us um this puts us like 15 minutes from our pickup which is um i don't know if i told you guys or not but it's going to uh it's going down by tampa supposed to be some palletized concrete um that'll be needed to tarp and we have to drop it saturday which it'll take us till saturday to get there i believe uh we should be able to drop saturday morning and then uh we'll go home for the weekend and start over again monday so this is kind of the return routine i want to get my boy in the habit of uh finding us you know find us some loads to bounce around for the week and then go home for the weekend when possible uh technically i found this load and i sent it to him but uh it is what it is you know basically what we do is i'll let him look and what's weird is i use the app and he'll use the uh the desktop version let me turn this around he'll use the desktop version but they don't always show the same thing so sometimes sometimes i see stuff that he doesn't see don't touch that fat butts that's mine so anyways lead us in there getting us some uh getting us some food ordered um we did a little bit of meal prepping before we left uh not much i think all we have left now is some of our homemade spaghetti and uh i just wasn't feeling it tonight she made it with some hot sausage this time which i like but uh it busted me up last time right before we left we had it the night before we left and i woke up the next morning feeling it so anyways we'll uh we'll talk to you guys in a bit i think i got a video i'm about to draw for you guys and after this it rained all night long last night what a mess elita's throwing straps actually i threw the strap she's wrapping straps and uh we'll throw some bungees on this thing we'll go weigh this thing and uh we're going to florida bring us home for the weekend uh yeah pretty uneventful huh fat butts lead in our purple shorts hey baby girls all right let's finish these straps up hit the road [Music] [Music] this so [Music] all right there she's all done started raining on us uh fat butts did not like it she wanted me to put her in the truck so she was trying to jump down and run away she doesn't like water she doesn't like baths she doesn't like any of that so elite is going to finish cleaning up i'm going to go grab our paperwork and then we're going to florida like i said i think we should be able to we might be able to make it to the house friday sleep at the house on friday um well no i don't know unless we run out of time at the house we should probably just keep driving because i think this has to be there saturday morning-ish so all right let me put this camera up go grab some paperwork [Music] oh yeah oh yeah how come you like bridges facebook [Music] so we made it uh south of birmingham last night to a rest area here decent size we didn't find a spot we end up having a park on the side over here pretty well kept rest area bathrooms were decently clean i hate that the uh they usually have two sections of bathrooms and they usually always have one section closed um i like the busiest times i think that's a uh a spider my guys trailer over here so we've got um i think we've got nine and a half hours left uh today to get to uh frost proof florida so we set an appointment for first thing in the morning eight o'clock tomorrow morning yeah i think that's one of those uh or uh what's it called a um lotus it's a lotus what did i call it i can't even remember jeez a spider same thing it's a it's an insect car oh slept pretty good um trucks running good loads doing fantastic the load before this those uh big metal pipe i don't know for some reason the the truck would start shaking at like uh like at a certain speed and it's never done that before and i'm like oh great the uh the drive shaft or something because a lot of times the drive shaft will be out of balance if you sometimes you have to unbolt it and turn it and bolt it back and uh i figured i was going to have to do that like maybe they had bolted it and didn't bolt it back the way it was supposed to be i always take like a black magic mark or a paint pen or something and and draw on a drive shaft to whatever i'm taking it off of um to make sure it goes on exactly the way it was but i don't know i think maybe it was a load issue i don't know if the wind was catching the pipes and kind of bouncing the trailer or if there was too much weight well no because i waited we weren't we didn't have too much weight so maybe it was the water or the water the air getting into the pipes and kind of lifting and bouncing the trailer i just now thought of that honestly so pretty proud of myself anyways let me run up here check on leta we're gonna get this day started good morning fat butts did you sleepy good oh that's a good girl has she been out yet no she looks like she has to go out um me here we baby continue on the road sure i should just drive through the trees well we finally made it to florida i was able to find a spot and back into it pretty excited about that maybe not the straightest but that's all right that guy sleeping with his windows open um let me switch this around so uh we were able to run by the house and take a shower which is really nice because i'd rather take a shower at our place than oh we can't cut through there there's grass over there then obviously at a truck stop so we ran by the uh house for about an hour took a shower we dropped off fat butts i don't think she was uh my son got a dog and um i think they're starting to like each other i think she likes hanging out with them and playing and uh i think sometimes she just gets over being on the road so anyways we're gonna walk up here to uh loves and um used the bathroom we were i was hoping they would have something besides subway like i'd rather eat mcdonald's right now than subway we do have some spaghetti that we can heat up in the truck uh but i don't know i haven't decided what i want to do um what do you feel like i don't know i'm not sure look at the subway i guess yeah i'll get the subway so this is brand new loves it didn't show up on my garmin this is uh i think we're like 15 minutes from our drop and we got to be there eight so we'll wake up and be ready to go uh tomorrow is going to be saturday so there's not going to be anything on the boards there is one thing that picks up in orlando and drops somewhere in georgia it says it's like 120 miles from the house but that's truck stop so it's probably like 800 miles from the house but it's only paying like 600 bucks for 200 miles and i'm like i'm not even gonna mess with that so we're just gonna deadhead home spend the weekend at the house and uh start off again all right leta got the uh subway and i got chester's check and they had chester's in there they had the godfather's pizza place in there too but they didn't have any pizza uh cooked up and it looked like they were trying to close so but this trip down was an absolute nightmare like uh the garmin and google were like telling us to take different routes because there's accidents and like slow downs and like it was like take i think we end up taking 27 down most of the way because of uh it it's saying it was going to be an hour faster but then we hit every single light there was it was just uh it was just one of those just one of those drives where it was like stop and go stop and go it was a nightmare so i'm hoping our trip back will be better i mean it'll be it it should be better as far as driving because we'll be we'll be empty and i'll be able to speed up a lot easier than obviously i think we're 76 000 pounds when we wait i believe it was 76 thousand but uh yeah anyways we're gonna get to the truck eat some food i need to uh check to see if my video is ready to upload and uh we'll see you guys in the morning well good morning so the address that they gave us and lita double checked with the person when she called him yesterday took us to a uh took us to a trailer park and it was a nightmare getting out of there so we end up calling a guy calling the guy back i think it's the same guy the same phone number i don't know elita's been dealing with this she's walking around right now trying to figure out where we're supposed to be complete show he said across from the middle school there's some buildings we're across from the middle school there's a couple of buildings over here but um i don't think this is the right place i don't see a forklift i don't know if these people think we're unloading this ourselves leeda said it sounded like he was still in bed i i have no idea what's going on she's running up now he's down there down way straight ahead yeah where we were before okay well i didn't know that so you're outside he said he's by the stop sign i will we'll follow you when we get down there okay volume what's really going on i mean he said buildings across from the middle school we're across from the middle school i'm not blaming you you know that right and i didn't think it was just down here either was that helm in that fort yeah it's the guy oh did he open that gate keep going straight yeah yeah i would have never guessed it was this i would have never guessed this i mean we told them eight o'clock and he just now woke up take the first left do [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] wow we're unloaded lyda's getting the paperwork signed um seeing a tech talk the other day where a truck driver was talking about putting a uh mirror on his passenger side um flippy down thing people think i'm i'm kind of some people said i have add or adhd maybe i do i don't know but yeah he stuck a uh mirror on his flippy down thing and that allowed him to see out the window better so we could see when he was blindsided backing so i might actually try that when we go home i might go try to i might have to have a mirror cut or [Music] maybe find one i don't know if mine come down far enough honestly i might should probably hold a mirror up there to see if it even helps first so anyway she's getting the paperwork signed and we're going home and uh yeah probably hit it again monday start all over again
