We bought The cheapest RV we could find, and took it dirt track racing to the Prairie Dirt Classic

well guys you knew it was going to happen and it did we got an rv and we just drove it all the way to fairbury listen please consider subscribing to the old number 7 garage we really appreciate you coming on board with us and watching our journey as dirt track racers let's uh let's jump right into this video you ready let's go [Music] all right we're off we just fueled up the old rv and we're heading to fairbury we got a full tank of fuel the whole family with us first thing we got to do is go to the rv campground and dump the old cooker out so we got got plenty of storage space but other than that we're heading that way we're picking up our pre-order of t-shirts and taking the maiden voyage on our alpha cena we'll see how she does all right so we had to pull over real quick and close the fuel door inside my keys in it anyway we got this from our buddy freddy he hadn't brought all the way down to west virginia we've been doing a little bit of work on it getting it tidied up and getting everything the way we want it so hopefully everything's good on it and we can make a four-hour trip to fairbury illinois for the prairie dirt classic so take a ride along with us we'll tell you a little bit about the rv and let you know how everything's going and head on down the road you know what i mean so let's get with it [Music] hot one just got done getting rid of the uh you know the nasties that's all done and i cleaned out so now we got fresh canvas for your hard work yeah buddy we make a pyramid yeah yeah i gotta be here in the front with me and uh anyway we're gonna we're gonna head on down the road we got about four hours ahead of us to get to fairberry so huh yeah stop getting t-shirts in arnold and it's about four and a half hours i'm sure we're gonna have to stop and eat or something too but we're not no big hurry we just gotta make it before eight bags tournament yeah yeah all right let's give it well making a stop to make sure all of our tires are good and aired up no blowouts mom said she smelled a rubber in the rv so put brand new ones on the back before we left now dad grabbed him for us so thanks dad much appreciated good on this side these tires all look good oh yeah i think we're okay we're about five miles from meeting todd we're picking up the yeah yeah i don't even know where the hazards are yeah anyway let's get back on the road and go get them shirts get balls trailer all right guys well we just got here to meet todd and get our shirts what do you think good job i have a key i see mine where are you guys fair barry yeah about three better in here at least okay let's get back with it three hours to go [Applause] [Music] well i just experienced my first bathroom break while driving i'd live a sheltered life i guess because never feeding the toilet while we were brian took over for a second uh anyway we're in a little road construction just fiddling around here about what two two hours yeah so we're just making a snail's pace just driving down the road but so far so good everything's working and everything but the air conditioner could be a little bit better it's almost like you're just sticky but it is like 90 million degrees outside [Music] well just rolled up to the old fuel station here save 20 cents on this side of the road versus that side crazy no no buddy okay we're gonna fuel up get us a bite to eat 26 gallon from our house not too bad how many miles do you think that was 150 i don't know i know i got i got it on there remember i got there any old sink tank here we're gonna run in here and grab something to eat and evidently you get 300 bonus points when you buy three cooler drinks you know oh i don't think we're going to be back at a speedway well that's the second time i've been here check that sign out that is a large mother oh cold in here all right let's get something to eat no i want some pizza pringles oh really yeah i'm talking about like suppertime stuff not candy you want one sweet tea buy one get one for a dollar i'm going to have two of them pizza sausage you got pizza they got a oh mcrib this one healthy milk yeah um applewood cheeseburger ooh are you sure you're my kid you because that's not you they got chicken salad chicken bacon cheddar ramp ramp chicken salad wedge hmm that's what i'm having chicken salad chicken salad and some sweet tea breakfast champions or actually the lunch or dinner of champions roller food roller food those aren't rolling can i smell that let me smell it yeah i don't know about that i think this chicken salad is going to be here that's a tornado i know it looks good you're gonna eat it yeah huh yeah i don't know well you better get some food because we're gonna be back on the road we ain't getting back off the road again two weeks or till we eat until we get to the track she wants that roller food worth hey crap what good yeah chicken salad for me you think i should go with the pizza sounds really good what do you think chicken salad pizza four dollars 4.54 okay you've changed my mind i'm going with the pizza hey mom you hungry yeah i am here's what i wound up with dessert supper appetizer and a drink all right let's get on the [Music] road [Music] [Music] right up here all right y'all we're rolling into fairbury hey guys here's chase nationator look check that sign up [Music] in just a little bit we're gonna roll in and get parked up made it look at that we made it look at that big sign no it's got a mosquito on it can't wait to get here oh in a mexican restaurant right beside fairbury yes i've been there before wow so that was a quite the drive we back back to three quarters of the tank so she gets about seven miles a gallon with the generator running as well and it's just cool enough in here to keep them sweating to death so i'm gonna have to look into that if any of you guys watching have any insight on a uh basement or a basement air conditioner on these alphas how to maybe get a little bit more out of them let me know all right now is it third street you said yes yeah third street which one's third street not that one no streets yet that's it's our first street i don't know what street it is neat little town here reminds me of farmington a little bit especially when we drive to the track because we're going past a bunch of houses didn't we turn left here or something i mean to ride that one time last time we came here or time before last week yeah first street we ended up going to the back of the track we can't be doing that all camper traffic well we got a camper but we're going in the pits all right cool little town of fairbury family dollar dairy queen no motel hotels though motel hotels looks like we're coming up on is this second grace haulers only all right we're turning race cars come on feller we're turning we need to get out the way yup make a big swing hit that light pole yep here's fairbury drive straight into the track all these houses around here they all love it a fun fact everybody that works here is volunteer work so the whole community comes together for this track they will love it that looks like um that looks like um hank and david's team yep just like it look at that yeah that's our reverse camera all right rolling into the track what's up we're gonna go get parked up and then we'll uh we'll come back with you but here we are guys the rv made it made it all right well we're just sitting here uh they're getting us a spot to park finding us somewhere to go and we're taking bets on who we're gonna park beside dad said we're gonna park right by hunt front i said who'd you say nick hoffman yeah yeah okay i'm saying we're gonna park beside bobby pierce just guessing tim you got any guesses carl larson uh hot larson that would be a pretty cool one to park beside all right well we'll see where we wind up oh man got out of the rv rubber legs we made it yes we did we gotta go over here we're gonna pay to get in then we're gonna get parked so take your bets on who we park beside i don't know who it's gonna be and then we gotta unload that car we're gonna unload that car no we're not we ain't racing tonight man i'm loading that car tonight tomorrow tonight we're just going to have fun and now we're going to try to win that feature you betcha buddy that is correct i like your haircut okay good pretty good i got mine cut too chase said i look bald you know thank you for bringing it back to me you want the payment too no yeah you want to pay with you you should have said yeah because there is no payment okay yeah fuel bill stopping point for us we made it zero issues air conditioner is a little lackluster um but i'm gonna start a new video up be the next one in this series of our three days at the pdc at fairbury the
