We’ve Got To Talk About Shivering Timbers… Michigan’s Adventure | VLOG [6/4/23]

[Music] [Applause] [Music] thank you holy I'm literally shaking so hard right now oh my God [Music] ladies and gentlemen this is about to be either the best coaster Dash Vlog ever or the worst coaster Dash Vlog ever as you can see my voice is in disrepair right now we're at Michigan's Adventure after like hours they're driving you're a trooper for that oh that was so much driving it's my second job at this point she's literally my own personal Uber but Sean this is gonna be worth it we're here at Michigan's Adventure to ride what is arguably one of the greatest wooden coasters in the world shivering Timbers I've heard so much about it over the years this is a park I haven't been to because it's so remote I mean we drove in total I mean obviously we've split up the drive but in total I think it's like six hours from holiday world it's insane I've never been to Michigan before and this is Michigan's only major amusement park Michigan yeah literally and it's the last theater Fair Park I have to go to as well oh yeah okay yeah pretty big right still have a couple Six Flags perks but this is the last Cedar Fair Park I apologize in advance for my voice guys I I help it but I'm gonna try not to talk too much in this video Sean will do the screaming for me because tomorrow is a very special day and we're gonna be at a park that I haven't revealed to the channel yet but you guys I think will be in uh you guys will just love to see what we're gonna do tomorrow it's going to be insane but my voice might be slightly shocked too I don't know you're doing better than I am that's for sure here we are here we go I can't even begin to understand how we're on shivering Timbers right now I'll try to stream okay I got this wow he's practicing oh my God I literally can't I literally can't my voice is done oh my God [Applause] static oh my God wow oh my God oh my God well if it's cause I got room but I was standing every Hill that was horrifying oh my God I wish I had a voice right now because I could scream over this ride it's so janky it is one of the weirdest wooden coasters in the world but every Hill gives incredible air time that is insane it just doesn't feel right it feels like it's gonna derail it's so ridiculously weird that's a little more janky I don't know I kind of like it though it's like a fun rough drinkiness is coming through [Music] I grow more um The Voyage I actually started like the front a little bit more than the back but this Woody I think I'm team back row that was just so ridiculously crazy I don't even know how to put them in words it's probably the most unique wooden coaster I've ever been on to be honest it feels so weird you got it on an hour and 20 minutes to get the rest of the credits I don't know if I'm gonna get it on everything I might just skip some that I don't mind or some clones or some poor rides I'll just do some of the other you know relatively unique ones Wolverine Wildcats right over here so I think that'll be next but yeah so far the park itself actually looks pretty nice by the way I don't really understand the hate so far but we'll see as I walk around the whole thing up next is the second of three wooden coasters in the park Wolverine Wildcat this is a rather unpopular ride from when I hear it's supposed to be pretty rough but I know it got Titan track so hopefully it's not too bad anymore well yeah we'll find out together if this deserves the RMC treatment or not I have no idea what just happened Wolverine Wildcat poster number two in Michigan's Adventure wow I'm literally dying right now all right here we go this ride is a horrible reputation so hopefully it's not that bad it does have a steel track so it should be smoother here we go here's a Titan track first I'm experiencing this okay okay so Jane this one that was really good I don't know forever oh my God okay what really weird wooden coaster what the heck is happening all right so I know we did it in the front but I have to say I didn't think Wolverine Wildcat was at all one of the worst Woodies I've done I do want them to rmca there's a lot of potential I think this park deserves investment I think if that were to be RMC they'd have a killer one two punch between that and shivering Timbers they need an RMC however that had some pretty good air time in the first half so it was weird because it kind of swapped a bunch of tracks yeah it started with Titan track on the drop in the first turn that was actually really smooth and then it went over to newly retract wooden section and that was pretty good they had some good air time and it wasn't bad after that the ride went to crap and it was super rough and didn't have any forces so it's a very inconsistent ride it was like it was good and then it was bad so I don't know and I you know we wrote it in the front we could have done it in any other row probably would have been horrible so my opinion for what it's worth as nasty as hell yeah that was so junky he was definitely a Jank that's for sure I think it's like a PTC it's a very old ride only quality is that it's janky then I think you need to reconsider the shirt arms here shouldn't they arms arms we're waiting all right on a credit Run next up is probably gonna be Corkscrew for me just got done with the Mad Mouse off camera um line was actually almost a station weight which is really impressive couldn't be OB that one but that's okay we're about to do the corkscrew next another credit to get here although this is a very basic model it actually looks really good because of a recent repaint actually a few of the coasters here including the wild mouse I just did have um fresh repaints which is really nice to see anyways I'll see you on the courtroom guys oh no here we go holding on so tight right now oh okay okay oh all right that was fine that wasn't that bad it's so short like it's bearable well that wasn't great but it also wasn't as bad as I maybe expected I've been on worse eras for sure I am so curious to see how this Vlog turns out because my voice is so gone I know I've mentioned it so many times but you can ignore it it's just it's wild I mean Hollywood nights are really destroyed me what's cool though is that obviously I'm only here for two hours and so far I've gotten two rides on shivering Timbers and I only have two more coaster credits taken in the park the SLC as well as the kitty wooden coaster so that's actually really cool very productive two hours for sure and I hope that I might not even have time to get on shivering dimmers another time so really really cool I'm a huge fan of the new camp Snoop area here at Michigan's Adventure unfortunately there's no train on the track for uh Woodstock Express but I did get on their Kitty wooden coaster Zach Zoomer interestingly it was my last of the Woodstock Express clones at the Cedar Fair Park so you know that that's good for something up next I'm gonna head to thunder Rock the vicoma SLC I'm not excited about it at all but it does look that I have updated trains of some kind not best but something else so hopefully it's not horribly bad that will be my final coaster credit to be getting in the park six out of seven coasters absolutely not bad given my two hour span and it seems like I absolutely will have time to get another ride or two and triggering Timber so amazingly productive two hours really really good I didn't even bother recording a POV this ride is a piece of [Music] go we're ready oh no my God oh oh my God is so weird oh my God I wish I could scream but I can't that is so weird watching their hair fly around was so awesome that's like it that's a good airtime indicator right there I just got done with one last ride on shivering Timbers oh my God that was the last train of the day that went out it was past 6 p.m past our clothes that was running so much faster than earlier and it was already running pretty good earlier that was insanely powerful every Hill on this ride gives incredible Air Time absolutely incredible air time it's so Jank it's like a slingshot like the way it throws you up and then like throws you back down it is so weird I I can't explain it to you guys like it is probably the weirdest wooden coaster I've ever been on but I think it's because it's so unique that you have to come out here and experience it that's so wild what the heck the energy there was absolutely wonderful that was an amazing last ride wow Michigan's Adventure I can't believe I just knocked that Park out in two hours like did everything I wanted to do and multiple rewrites on shivering Timbers that was awesome as far as my thoughts on the part in my honest has a ton of potential it's actually got got its charm for sure but when you're here you can feel just how neglected the park is with Cedar Point only being a couple hours drive away no one like chooses to visit this park over Cedar Point you know even if they live close by you know so I really think they need to pour some major investments into the park refresh it maybe give Wolverine Wildcat the arms he has my brother and I were stating earlier once you do that this park is actually like pretty solid it's a beautiful Park actually the lake in the center is really stunning the problem with it is just that the atmosphere there basically is no atmosphere it's soulless the park feels so dead almost like it's stuck in like past decades it just it needs a refresh but if you do that I think you got a pretty solid Park here in Michigan that I would recommend but yeah shivering Timbers alone made it worth it for me but that being said thank you all so much for watching I'm gonna go to bed as soon as we get to our hotel it's like a three and a half hour drive away in Toledo Ohio if that's spoiled where we're going tomorrow well then there you go I just got Early Access and where we're going let's hope and pray that my voice recovers
